    Super Flexible for a Beautiful Reception

    Julie & Andrew were amazing to work with for my wedding reception. I met with them to view all the different options. Due to COVID we had to reschedule our wedding so I reached out to them a few months after our initial meeting.

    They worked with me & sent photos of the color scheme I was interested in. Julie recommended additional options that I hadn't thought of before & they were the perfect small details that gave my reception an extra boost.

    They worked wonderfully with the reception hall to deliver, setup & pickup our rented items so we didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't say thank you enough to them!

    Can't say enough good things...

    Our caterer handled the rentals for us through Big Red Events Company. They were so courteous, knowledgeable and fast. Did an amazing job setting up for us and were so patient with our questions and concerns. Even on the pickup day they were kind enough to ask how the event was. Highly recommend.

    Great work on my Wedding!

    I worked with Julia for my May 4 wedding. She was SUPER professional, flexible and responsive. On the wedding day, their staff spoke more with my husband and the wedding coordinator, but I heard they were great! Everything was set up perfectly form set-up to pick-up. They, essentially, were the final touches for my wedding/reception and I'm very happy about it. They wouldn't even accept a tip--even though I'm going to try to give another one soon! Thank you so much!

    Tremendous Experience. Thank you!

    We contacted Big Red after finding out that our contracted vendor was basically screwing everyone over by taking money for “discounted” rates and then not showing up to the contracted event. Big Red was familiar with the issue and took the time to hear our story and listen. They even offered some additional equipment that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to rent from the other company because they weren’t offered or thought about at that time. Big Red showed up to set up the chairs and were hard st work when we arrived at our venu. They made quick work in transforming tables inside the venu and even offered pointers along the way as we were decorating. All the table cloths were clean and wrinkle free. They arrived before dark to start taking the outside chairs down and poked their head in and saw we were winding down inside and asked if it was okay to start clean up. They even went out of their way to also help some of my family with cleaning up our supplies. Wonderful company and will and would recommend again for future use.

    Planning a wedding can be truly stressful, and linens was not something I ever really thought about being a big deal. Working with Julie at Big Red Events was easy and truly non-stressful. Once we got the “right” purple color nailed down, the rest was a breeze. Most of our correspondence was vie email or text, which I prefer. We kept making changes and Julie just kept rolling with us. The venue looked absolutely beautiful and I can’t say enough about how Big Red worked with us. I highly recommend this company for your upcoming needs.

    I'm honestly surprised by the poor reviews on this site. I worked with Kate and Andrew for my wedding at Quail Ridge Lodge. We rented tablecloths for our head table and dessert table, ceremony chairs, and bistro tables for the deck. I felt as if they went above and beyond. I wanted the tablecloths ahead of the chair setup time (which was set for 2 pm). Andrew met me at 9 am at the lodge and even steamed the tablecloths for me. He gave suggestions to my friends who were setting up (since I had to get ready), and probably saved us some huge headaches! The chairs and bistro tables were delivered and set up on time, and removed on time. Everyone I came into contact with was more than friendly and willing to help. I would not have a second thought in recommending this company!

    Andrew and his group really came through for us. He did a great job of making sure that we were happy with how everything was being set up and I felt very at ease when I saw them work. Beautiful reception, thanks to them!

    I booked with Andrew and Big Red Events before I read the reviews, so I was nervous. I even made my sisters-in-law go double check everything, and it looked beautiful! I love that they set up and take everything down (although our families took everything down...they just couldn't help themselves). The prices for their products are great, and by far the cheapest for linens and place settings that I could find. They have so many options for colors too. We met with Andrew in his warehouse, and it was great to look at all the colors and pick the perfect combinations to match our inspiration.
    At the beginning, Andrew was difficult to get ahold of via email (it took weeks for get an invoice after I had already paid a deposit), but after that things went fairly smoothly. My caterer kept changing up what supplies we needed, and Andrew was patient with my incessant emails. Although I was apprehensive, I was overall happy and would choose them again.

    We had booked a photo booth through Big Red Events. First off my name was spelt wrong on all the photo prints. Also the photobooth was shut down before the event ended when we were told while booking the booth, it would be open all night. Also the photo booth had a lot of issues. Guests were saying early into the reception that the photo booth was not working, it was freezing, then they were told the battery was dead. Very unprofessional to say the photobooth will be going all night, then close without notifying the bride or groom, and have your equipment not working for more then half the reception. Also, i believe the company should call the clients before the event to make sure the names and products are accurate.

    I would highly recommend against using Big Red Events Company. We hired them to do the linens for our wedding and hope that no one experiences what we did.

    We confirmed with the owner multiple times that we were setting up the day before our wedding and the invoice we paid against even indicated the day and time he was supposed to set up at the Reception Venue. When we showed up, Big Red Events company wasn't there and none of the linens were set up. Naturally, we called him in panic asking him when he would arrive. He said he wasn't getting the linens until later that day and he had down that the set up was Friday. Friday was the day of our wedding!

    Around 4:30 that evening, when we are getting ready to leave for our rehearsal dinner he shows up and starts to set up the venue (only 9 hours late). The next morning, we arrived to double check that he set up everything-- he did, but none of the linens were pressed. Every single one of them had wrinkles, like they have been sitting in a box. It looked so terrible and you can even see the wrinkles in all of our wedding pictures.

    When the reception was over and we were cleaning up, Big Red Events company came to collect the linens. He inspected the linens and told my mom that we didn't spill any wax (from the center pieces) on the linens. A few of our items got mixed in with his items and so I contacted him to see when I could get them. He indicated that he would return them once i pay for the damaged linens. I asked him to send a picture, he couldn't and asked why he indicated the night of that everything looked okay, when it didn't.

    Long story short, you should use a different rental company for any major event that is important to you. This added stress was not needed and only caused a lot of complications in a very happy time.

    Buyer beware

    I never Dealt with a business so unprofessional So unorganized and chaotic. Andrew was the individuals I talked with when ordering 15 chairs For an event that was taken place on June 6th 2020. Upon receiving the chairs I've spoke with a person named Ryan who is the manager and we discussed drop off arrangements to return the chairs At the same location we received the chairs. When returning the chairs Andrews wife Sherry Became belligerent & Unprofessional at the moment of returning the chairs Due to her Not wanting to pick up the chairs at the agreed location. After Sherry receives the chairs she begin to harass me with racial slurs and threatening my property, house and family. She proceeded by telling me to watch my back and I have critical proof and evidence of her statements and threats via text and phone calls. I would never ever ever recommend this Company.

    Please, please, please do NOT use Big Red! I would never want another bride to go through what I went through! Andrew left me In tears multiple times but especially the night before the wedding when he threatened to quit and not bring anything! The list of problems we had is seemingly endless. He didn't show up for meetings that we organized, when we called he said he didn't need a meeting, after he finally agreed to see the place (by the way we were the first wedding at this venue) we didn't hear from him for weeks. I was in a panic trying to find another rental place in time! Our original venue had gone out of business so when we changed venues we needed almost everything to be supplied by a rental company. It was already short notice so I had no time to find anyone else! Finally we went through the caterer to get ahold of him to make final adjustments to the order. Then we complained the day before when he had brought some of the wrong colored table cloths and he was very aggressive in his response. He said we hadn't even paid him and he was going to quit! The night before the wedding! So I told my fiancé to just appease him and deal with the wrong color so he wouldn't quit! Then I was stepping on egg shells around him the whole rest of the wedding! Also we hadn't paid him because he would not send us the invoice! I had asked for it multiple times! He wouldn't explain the pricing! Just demanded an amount. Finally to top it all off he was late on the actual day of the wedding and my fiancé and the groomsmen had to set up the entire reception hall themselves then rush to get to the wedding on time! Andrew made the whole experience miserable! Judging by the other reviews it seems like I'm not the only bride to suffer from this terrible company! PLEASE save yourself the heartbreak on the most important day of your life!!!

    When we first met Andrew at our tasting, he made negative comments about past customers. We were uncomfortable with this, but decided to go ahead and use his service, as we were assured by the caterer and venue event planner that although he is a poor communicator, he always gets the job done properly. This was not our experience. Our original order was placed well over a year in advance. At our original meeting Andrew assured us that he did not need final decisions until a week before, and even if we changed our minds the day before, he would honor our requests. We set a date to choose colors and during the meeting, Andrew said he had sent an email to me with the choices. The email never came through. When I contacted him later and asked him to resend the email, he sent an invoice, with numbers, but none of the color choices. When I pointed that out, he said he had no record of any color choices. So we went again to make the color choices. The updated invoice then came with more errors. Andrew assured us that he would steam all wrinkles out of the tablecloths at the venue when he set the tables, and that the set-up would be completed on Thurs evening, as we were to decorate and set up centerpieces, favors, etc. on Fri at 9am. Andrew showed up at 11am on Fri to start setting up the tablecloths. Nothing was steamed, and he did not have enough of the vases we ordered to use with our centerpieces. He said he would go out and buy more, then he overheard me talking to our bridesmaids about going to the store, he gave them cash asking them to purchase the missing vases. The bridesmaids agreed to do so, but were unable to get the vases, so I contacted Andrew and he promised to get them. He did not. The venue's event planner ended up moving vases to and from the ceremony site to the reception site to make the number of vases we had work. When I wrote a gentle 4 star review on his FB page, he responded with dishonesty and snark. There's more, but not enough characters here.
