  Wonderful store and staff!

  Came here based on a recommendation from one of my bridesmaids and such a wonderful experience with Leslie. She quickly figured out what made me comfortable and confident in a dress and we couldn't believe how quickly we found the one! She was great to work with while I was abroad on deployment and while we were unable to do our alterations with their team (due to deployment extension) they were a dream to work with.

  A seamless experience (pun intended)

  The entire process with Bijou was exactly what I would wish for anybody. From the second I walked in, I couldn't take my eyes off a beautiful blush pink ballgown with unique horsehair trim -- perfect for me. But it was a bit over my budget. They told me they'd let me buy the dress off the rack at my budget price, so I tried it on and fell in love like I knew I would. A huge selling point for me was the flat-rate cost of alterations. I needed the dress shortened, bustled, the built-in belt removed, and straps added on, and it was all covered in the $350 and done perfectly. When I picked up my dress I mentioned that I was flying to mainland to get married and they packed it up in a tote bag for me to carry it onto the plane easily. I had a great experience with them and definitely recommend.

  Beautiful dress, minimal fuss

  I bought a gorgeous dress at a very reasonable price. The ladies at the shop flexed their schedule to fit mine, the alterations were done well/quickly, and they did not try to upsell me or pressure me into trying on something I did not ask for.

  I got my wedding dress from their shop during COVID and they went above and beyond to make sure I got my dress for my wedding and that all the alterations were perfect! Thank you so much for helping me find my perfect dress!

  Bijou is the BEST

  I’ve had experiences at some national chain bridal salons and there is just no comparison. Bijou is so helpful, attentive and wonderful. They held my dress until the day before the wedding, steamed my veil even though it wasn’t from them, and put me at complete ease. The alterations cost was a flat rate and I wasn’t overcharged for anything. Incredibly fair prices and incredible service!

  Finding your wedding dress can be challenging but with the support of family and the help of hardworking employees you can find that perfect dress! I went to multiple boutiques and stores on the Island and did not find anything UNTIL I went to Bijou Bridal. She opened my eyes to try on something that I would least expect to love and I’m so happy that she did. From alterations to the final piece I am 100% satisfied with everything! Mahalo Bijou Bridal!

  Had a great time here! They were so helpful and really listened to what i was interested in. I do not wear dresses so i had no idea what style or anything of that matter i was interested in. They brought me a bunch of different styles and within 1 hour i was able to find the perfect dress. She really listened to what i liked about certain dresses and what i didn't like and continued to narrow it down. Most of all i loved that she was honest. If i was on the fence about a dress feature she gave her honest opinion of what complimented my body and what did not. She was not so firm as to not allow me to try something she advised against. rather she helped me to really understand what she was referring to by comparing. They have amazing deals if you are looking for you whole wedding party's attire. We spent 1/4th of what we were expecting to on our entire party. I could not be happier.
  
  You will need to make an appointment to see them and an hour and a half was perfect for us. We went once for the girls and once for the guys. Due to being very decisive we were lucky they allowed us to quickly throw some bride maid's dresses on out girls and still stay true to our 1-1/2 hour apt. The boys took the whole 1-1/2 hours which was great since they were all looking to purchase a suit that they would use for future event after the wedding as well.

  A little background story. My mom wanted me to do the typical Chinese tradition of having 3 dresses. We knew two were going to be white and the last one was going to be red. It worked out fine since my mom and I had different ideas of what type of dress I should wear. I wanted a princess ball gown and she amazingly wanted a fitted sexy dress. Well I compromised by saying the ceremony dress will be the ball gown and the second reception dress would be the fitted one. Bijou was our 6th shop we went too. Mainly because my mom and I could not agree on anything. It was either the straps weren't right or there was no rushing. Also we realized that most bridal shops didn't have a seamstress at hand. They mostly hire third party seamstresses. Leslie at Bijou is the manager and the lead seamstress. So whatever you wanted she could pretty much show you. Also the dresses there were gorgeous. It hit all the marks of what I wanted and what my mom wanted. A plus was it is very spacious and it felt like a bridal boutique on tv. Leslie and Pauline were not at all pushy. I had a veil I was borrowing from my Maid of Honor and they pretty much said that one matched better than any of their veils in their store. I love their honesty which is hard in a business where it's easy for them to push to make a sale. We also bought the groomsmen suits there. And they were willing to do the alterations on the tux my fiancé bought and the third dress I bought from another store. Amazing experience.

  I bought my wedding dress at a bridal shop in Birmingham, AL and not long after, moved to Hawaii with my fiancé. At the time we moved, my dress had not yet come in. Luckily, my mom was scheduled to visit HI about two months before my wedding so she was able to bring my dress with her to Hawaii. To my unpleasant surprise, the dress would not zip up when I was finally able to try it on. It turns out the shop in Birmingham had ordered one size too small (I hadn't gained any weight since the purchase). I was completely panicked! The dress was primarily lace and I was worried there wouldn't be enough fabric to take it out. After reading some good reviews online, I decided to take my dress to Bijou Bridal in hopes that they could help. They were incredibly accommodating!!! The seamstress was so knowledgable and wasn't worried in the slightest. She took it out a half an inch on each side and on my second visit, she decided it needed to be taken out in the waist just a tiny bit more. On my third visit, the dress fit beautifully. Her prices were very reasonable and she didn't charge me any more than she had originally quoted even though I had to come back twice for more alterations. So happy I decided to go with Bijou! I normally don't write online reviews but they really deserve this. To future brides: I highly recommend Bijou for alterations. You will not regret it.

Pauline who helped me fit into dresses, was really nice and made it a fun stress-free day! The very first dress she picked out for me made me speechless which I almost teared lol! Even my bridal party and Leslie the other lady that works there said that is the dress!. Even though I knew in my heart that was "the DRESS" I still tried on the other six. Sure enough the first dress topped them all! Big thanks to Pauline =) I highly recommend her! Also, I got a discount on the dress and only had to put 50% down which other bridal shops would have you put down more. I'm so happy I gave this place a chance! Future Brides.. This place gets busy so you should make an appointment just in case and know your style/budget.

  This was the last place i went to when searching for my dress. I had probably tried on about 50 different dresses in about 6 different dress shops. I was a walk-in, and it was a weekend, so i wasn't able to try on anything that day. I browsed through their selection, and was not very hopeful that i would find "the one" here. However, as i was standing at the counter, making an appointment for a fitting, i turned around and saw a dress on a mannequin that i really liked. Two of my bridesmaids that were with me happened to see that dress at the same time i noticed it. We all liked it. The day of my appointment came, and I went to try on the dress... as soon as i stepped out of the dressing room & saw myself in the mirror, i knew that was it! i had found "the one" in the last place i had looked.
  The selection of bridesmaids dress styles and colors allowed my girls to choose a dress to their own liking. The groomsmen's tuxs were only $150 TO BUY... so we did! We got our entire wedding party fitted & dressed at Bijou Bridal and Leslie, Jerry and Pauline made our experience easy, quick and efficient! They were also very honest, and local, and any concerns we had were addressed right away. Communication and timelines were very clear, the email & phone call response times were quick. I am so happy we found them and are telling everyone about the great people there!

I went in not knowing what to do or what I wanted, and the attendant was really calm, positive, helpful, and nice. She really made me feel special in the dresses. I told her a quite vague description of what I wanted, and she brought me a dress that didn't quite fit the description, but it ended up being "the one." She helped me tie it up and they even gave me a discount! I love the dress, which is a sweetheart neckline and has lacy around the bottom.
  
  I thought I would hate at least a few of the choices I tried on, but honestly all of the dresses I tried looked great and were very beautiful. I thought they all had a slimming effect, which is an added bonus!

  I found the wedding dress of my dreams at Bijou Bridal on Oahu! It was beautiful! and Leslie was so helpful and understanding! She's bright and cheery and made the entire experience very enjoyable! They were professional, and helpful considering I live on the Big Island, they were accommodating to my travel limitations. Once the dress came in, I let them know what weekends I could come and they scheduled my fitting to work around my schedule. They were also able to complete most of the alterations in one day, and shipped my dress FEDEX to my house so I wouldn't have to carry it on the plane (thank god because it was so heavy lol) Also, it arrived on time, via overnight shipping, and it was packed immaculately! I did not need to steam it at all! I def recommend checking out Bijou Bridal for your wedding gown!

  Bijou Bridal is by far the best bridal shoppe on Oʻahu. We searched far an wide for dresses and not only did Bijou have a wide variety and selection, but the service was OUTSTANDING. They make you feel like family there and not once did I feel pressured to choose one dress or another. Once I found THE one, they help you out every step of the way and keep you very well informed of the status of your beautiful dress in its journey to you. I did not need any alterations on my dress, I was lucky enough to have it fit perfectly when it came in. However, I have seen other dresses that Leslie had altered and they were perfection. Save your time and just go straight to Bijou!

  After our wedding I can say with even more certainty that Bijou Bridal is as amazing as it gets! Although I purchased my gown in LA because that's where i live now I brought my dress home for fittings and alterations because of their amazing service. The bridal salon I purchased my dress from was awful and increased my levels of stress every time I entered. Bijou is the exact opposite - it is clean, beautiful, serene and staffed with friendly and knowledgeable staff who are so easy to work with. My husband ended up purchasing his suit from Bijou and was also amazed with their customer service. They were able to do our fittings and alterations in a short amount of time because we flew home right before the wedding. Bijou allowed us to relax and enjoy the experience of dress/suit selection and fittings. We will be telling all of our friends and family not to go anywhere else!!!!

  When I couldn't find a dress I loved while shopping around in Hawaii, Leslie from Bijou Bridal ended up making the dress of my dreams! What's better than a custom dress that's one-of-a-kind! Thanks soo much Leslie!!

  I literally visited every bridal salon on the island and then I found the best! Bijou Bridal had gorgeous dresses in a gorgeous setting. They out rank every other bridal salon on the island for their service, cleanliness, and professionalism. Their prices were great, and Leslie and Brenda were AWESOME to work with. Everything they promised they delivered on, even though my wedding was relatively quick after I bought my dress. They have beautiful quality and alterations were incredible. The dress fit perfectly and I am 100% happy.

  Bijou Bridal is SO amazing. They are so flexible and make you feel like family they are trying to help. Leslie is so sweet and did everything she could to make my dress the dream dress I wanted and modified it herself. She copied the picture I showed her to a T. Love this place!

  If you're someone like me who looks at a white dress and thinks it looks just like 25 other white dresses, then this review is for you! I was greeted by super nice Brenda and she helped me try on 4 or 5 dresses. I told her what my budget was, and that I had no idea what I like and don't like. I also showed her a picture of a La Sposa dress that I thought I like but knew it was waaay over my price range. We found one that was similar and if altered can look about the same and maybe even better than the picture.
  
  Brenda was very nice during each of my, what I think was, 5 visits before I said yes to the dress....i guess you know it's the dress when you keep going back to see it!
  
  I ordered the dress in mid August. First fitting was mid December. Second fitting was first week of January. Picked up and final fitting was two days before the wedding (Jan 15). Timing felt tight but it worked and love the dress!
  
  Alterations were all done in house and turned out great especially with all the work the dress went through. Now, I'm in the process of dry cleaning and preserving the dress with Bijou
