  What a great day

  We broke out the photos from our one year anniversary and remembered with joy the ease and convenience of working with the Huikko family! From the get-go they helped us select the right colors and look for our budget and personality. The room looked sharp, the hot chocolate bar was a hit, and all we had to do was walk in from the ceremony. The food tasted great, the service made our guests feel at home, and the full bar was within sight. We would rebook in a second!

  Wedding 10/12/18

  Heidi with Bison Creek was more than accommodating for all of the quirky requests we had for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better coordinator. We were very pleased with the food selection, lots of choices. We received many compliments on the food from guests attending our wedding.
  I did not meet the bar tender or DJ until day of the wedding and were blown away with how amazing they both were.
  We went with the all inclusive package Bison Creek offers and added anything extra. Everything was included down to the cake -which was delicious. We are both very happy with our decision to get married at Bison Creek Event Center!

  Awesome Wedding Venue

  My husband and I had our wedding reception here and it was hands down a great experience. Heidi was so easy to work with and gave us exactly what we wanted! The boasted chicken dinner was AMAZING and everyone was satisfied! It was also fantastic that they let you bring in our own centerpieces and decorations. I would highly recommend this event center!

  Our wedding experience

  It took over an hour and 30 minutes to serve our 187 guests in the buffet line. We were down 23 guests from the number we had originally given to the venue. When some guests asked for seconds they were told there was no food left. Yet, the venue had our leftovers on their brunch buffet the next day. We were given a third ste DJ who admitted he had never done a wedding before. The DJ did not ask is when we wanted to start the toast or act as an emcee. There were no microphones at the head table. In general, communication was lacking and the food was average.

  Thank you for your review Emilie. We are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the your wedding experience. The initial buffet service for your wedding was completed in 45 minutes, the additional time for the buffet service allowed for guests to get seconds.  For the DJ, we work with experienced DJs so there may have been some miscommunication. When you requested the DJ, MC services were not requested which is why a microphone was not provided. These services are not naturally included with the DJ booking as most couples have a family member MC.  We truly enjoyed being the venue for your wedding and are happy to work with you to reconcile any additional concerns you may have.
