  Shenandoah National Park Elopement Ceremony

  My husband and I eloped in Shenandoah National Park for a sunset ceremony in September. We hired Caroline Hubert from Black Opal to capture our special day on video. We couldn't be happier with the results! Caroline was incredibly professional and easy to work with. She met with me in advance via Zoom to discuss our vision for the video, kept in touch by email for 9 months, and ensured we got all of the shots we wanted.
  
  She worked well with our photographer, Gabrielle Van Wick, from White Sails Creative as a team. It was clear that she had worked with photographers before, and she knew how to get the best shots without getting in each other's way. She also made sure to communicate with our photographer throughout the day so that they could both capture the same moments from different angles. This resulted in a cohesive and beautiful photo and video gallery.
  
  Despite the rain and wind on our day, the video that Caroline created is stunning. She captured the beauty of Shenandoah National Park, the intimacy of our ceremony, and the joy of our celebration perfectly. She also captured a gorgeous scenery photo as a bonus. We received the preview video within 48 hours and the full video within 6 weeks. We have already watched the video dozens of times with family and friends, and we will cherish it forever.
  
  If you are looking for a wedding videographer, I highly recommend Caroline. She is a talented filmmaker and a wonderful person to work with.

  Amazing Experience

  We had such a wonderful experience with Black Coral! Caroline couldn't have done a better job capturing our day and bringing our vision to life, all while bringing a professional attitude and rolling with our schedule. We absolutely love our videos and feel like they are such a wonderful way to re-live the day. We also live-streamed the wedding through Black Coral and the process could not have been more seamless! They gave us a link to email to our friends and family a week before the wedding which really helped for guests unable to travel. We got our videos back so quickly- they are so special and we will treasure these forever.

  Innovative and incredible!

  When we had to dramatically downsize our wedding due to COVID, we knew we wanted a unique and engaging way for our family and friends to join from afar. Black Coral went above and beyond to make that dream a reality, by providing a flawlessly executed livestream for our virtual guests! The team showed so much professionalism by initiating multiple test-runs, to ensure the technology worked on the day-of. They set up cameras at various angles to capture all important parts of the ceremony, and this allowed the people we love to watch safely from home. We've received soooo many compliments from those virtual guests, telling us how special it was to feel included and able to participate. We were also able to share the video link with others after the event, so it is now memorialized and able to be re-watched whenever we want.
  
  Additionally, the short film Black Coral created for us is beautiful. I couldn't stop smiling while watching it - Caroline perfectly captured so many special, sweet moments from our wedding, even ones that we did not realize at the time. She assembled them into a gorgeous, high-quality edited video, which we plan to share with our kids and grandkids one day.

  Absolutely gorgeous, artistic and unique video work

  I cannot recommend Black Coral enough! Caroline and Sarah managed to take a day full of so many emotions and loved ones and unpredictable weather and smoothed it into a beautiful video that we will cherish forever. They had a calming presence and caught all the beautiful and quirky moments of getting ready. When a storm inevitably came they caught our friends dancing and laughing in the rain - and when it was finally time for the ceremony they blended right in, capturing our vows and the reactions of our family. We could not be happier that on a day when our favorite people were all in the same room we had this awesome team there to record all the special, joyous, raucous and sentimental moments.
