    Fantastic!

    Laura was AMAZING!! best experience I’ve ever gotten! She Made it so easy to plan my wedding! And she worked with us and our budget! She made the stress go away she’s very friendly and a wonderful personality! I can’t wait to work with her farther along till my wedding day! If I can give her 10 or more stars I would!

    Our Almost didn't happen Wedding

    Laura was the best. She went above and beyond before and during the epidemic. She helped our dream come true, when it almost didn't happen. We're so grateful for her.

    Absolutely amazing

    I couldn’t have been happier with hiring Black Oak Casino Resort for our wedding. Laura was amazing and she’s what really sold me on having our ceremony and reception there. The food was delicious, the space has so many possibilities for any style and Heritage Park was gorgeous for the ceremony. Our wedding day was a dream come true. I planned the entire event from Virginia where I’m stationed and working with Laura and Alias was a breeze.

    A Day to Remember

    The staff did a great job with the decorating for the reception. They did everything that was asked for and then some. Food was excellent and plentiful. All the guests complimented of how beautiful it was. Thank you. You made the day a remembrance that won’t be forgotten.

    Modesto Area T-Bird Club held a 4 day event at Black Oak Hotel/Casino. This event was a year in planning. We reserved 60 rooms. The event was a big success. All of the staff at the hotel were very helpful. The catering for our meals was superb. The staff accommodated our every wish promptly & efficiently.

    We had many positive comments from the 6 other T-Bird clubs from Bakersfield, Monterey, Sacramento, Ventura, Sequoia, Gold Coast about the accomodations, food, ease of parking the T-Birds in one area, etc.

    I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Laura Ryan, Catering & Sales Manager, and her assistant Bunny, for making our Sierra Foothills Women's Club Brunch Meeting a perfect event every month! Laura has gone above and beyond to make our meetings perfect in every way. Melodie Ferguson has also prepared wonderful menus and delicious food for us every month and the staff of waitresses do an excellent job serving over 70 members each month.
    The membership in attendance every month has grown because of the care and attentiveness all these women has provided to us. Please extend our thanks to all of them.
    We look forward to a long and continued wonderful relationship with the Black Oak Hotel Conference Center for many years to come.

    The service and food were excellent and the accommodations spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful and from beginning to end they made everything so easy that as the coordinator I was even able to relax and enjoy the evening. Everyone had a wonderful time!

    We had my husbands PG&E Christmas Party here and it turned out lovely. Several of us even took advantage of the hotel being right there and spent the night. We've already booked for this years Christmas Party. The only thing I wish we had that we didn't was dancing, and by the time we headed over to the casino the band was already done playing. Other then that, it was perfect..

    Great Service!

    Beautiful outdoor and indoor venue. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Sabrina Meckler was my go-to girl! It's also fun being right next to the Casino and has activities for all ages.

    Everyone had a great time and raved about the rooms. The only negative was the the swimming poll was still under construction.

    We have a corporate event there and our company Christmas party. They did an excellent job on both events. Food, service, bar, and environment were great. Can't wait to do another event with them!

    NOT A LOT OF FLEXIBLITY ON BOOKING XMAS PARTY DATES DUE TO POPULARITY. PAID A LITTLE MORE THAN OTHER PLACES FOR THE VENUE AND CATERING, BUT IT WAS WORTH THE CONVENIENCE FOR "THE COMPANY PARTY PLANNER"/ACCOUNTANT (MOI) AND CLOSE LOCATION FOR EMPLOYEES. EVENT CORDINATOR AND CATERER FROM BLACK OAK WERE EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN EVENT PLANNING. A LOT OF POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM PARTY-GOERS GREAT FOOD, CONVENIENT LOCATION, GREAT BANQUET ROOM. SOME THOUGHT THE VENUE WAS NOT XMAS/WINTER FESTIVE ENOUGH. NOT ENOUGH XMAS DECORATIONS. PERSONALLY, I THOUGHT THE DECOR WAS ADEQUATE, BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR AREAS TO IMPROVE THE VENUE EXPERIENCE. OTHER AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT, HOTEL ROOMS OFTEN HEARD LOUD NOISES MADE BY ICE MACHINE, HARD TO GET AN AMBIENT TEMPERATURE, COULD HEAR PEOPLE FROM OTHER ROOMS THIN WALLS,ETC. OVER ALL, GREAT EXPERIENCE USING BLACK OAK FOR OUR COMPANY CHRISTMAS PARTY.

    We held our event at this venue and found the staff very friendly and willing to work with our group. While there were some issues with the meals - they were minor and were based on our guest's personal preference (you can't please 70 people all the time). I appreciated the venue staff's willingness to walk through the event prior to the event date. Going into the event date, I felt that venue staff and I were on the same page and, overall, the event was enjoyed by all.
