  Great DJ!!!!

  Black Tie Entertainment is an excellent choice if you want great DJ services for your wedding. They have an online portal where you can choose all the songs or types of songs you want (or don't want played). Your DJ also helps you figure out your timeline and they know exactly how to time things to keep the day flowing perfectly. We chose Gene Griffin as our DJ and he was excellent! We are not huge dancers and were looking for someone we could rely on to watch the crowd and figure out the best songs to play and he did just that! Guests were enthusiastically on the dance floor all night! Gene has a great personality too, he always came across as excited to talk to us during the planning to help us choose the best songs for our key moments! And on the day of, he was super nice and professional. His DJ expertise made our day very stress free and so enjoyable. Thank you again Gene!

  Chris Laing was so awesome!! Everyone at the wedding did not leave the dance floor from the second the music started playing to the very last song. Our guests were begging for more. Not only did he absolutely nail our vision and "vibe", he was so helpful during the planning process as well. We had a few different meetings to really lock in the details. He was very personable and supportive during the whole thing, we highly recommend!

  An Incredible DJ and Even Better MC

  I would highly, highly highly recommend James from Black Tie Entertainment. He was incredibly professional, prompt and organized. We had multiple meetings over zoom before the big day and he coordinated with the venue completely independently. During the evening, he didn't miss a beat. The energy and timing was perfect the whole night through. He was even able to manage some tricky quiet hours restrictions from our venue without anyone even noticing. We had an incredible time thanks to James and I can't thank him enough.

  Eddy the DJ was the BEST!

  Eddy was the DJ for our ceremony and reception. He did everything we asked for and more. At each point of the event, he managed to keep the volume EXACTLY where we wanted it, and kept the dance floor going until the very end. In the days leading up to the wedding, he was reachable and really LISTENED to everything we said! Highly Recommend!

  We love DJ Mike!

  Black Tie entertainment was a company we saw at several of our friends' weddings over the last two years. They came highly recommended to us from those couples. We got to meet Mike, the DJ for those weddings, at another event and clicked quickly. He's professional, clear with his vision, and flexible. Cost is a major consideration for any wedding, and Black Tie was very open to working with us and helping pick and choose services to make the wedding exactly what we wanted. Prior to speaking with Mike, we were still unsure of our timeline and how we would cram everything in, but after one meeting with him we suddenly felt much more confident and secure. Outside of just cost, he was also interested in our wedding's vibe, and worked hand in hand with us to craft the "feeling" of the wedding. We didn't want to just have club music, and he helped put together playlists and signals for major events of the wedding. We got hit with a heatwave in the week leading up to the wedding and had to adjust a lot of plans very quickly, and he was quick to adapt to changing circumstances, and worked hand in hand with our coordinators and other vendors to ensure everything went smoothly. He was a great MC, he helped keep things on track the entire night, and he didn't miss a single cue or have anything run late. He checked in with us prior to and during the ceremony, and overall was instrumental in making the wedding work. Could not recommend him and Black Tie enough, absolutely made our wedding a success and kept the dance floor packed despite the weather.

  Angelica Jones

  John and Angelica's communication through our entire wedding procesws was off the charts!
  Angelica was such a wonderful DJ, and helped Zach and I plan our perfect day! She was very kind, professional, and was willing to be flexible when we had a couple of changes during our wedding day!

  Great vibe and dedication to the client

  This company was very professional and did amazing at our wedding in June. There were multiple DJs to choose from. Once we chose our DJ there were multiple meetings prior to the event and the DJ was very helpful in planning the music etc for our wedding. Unfortunately prior to our event our DJ got sick, and Black Tie was very responsive and immediately provided a back up DJ that also did an amazing job. Very responsive to crowd, and knowledgeable.

  Highly Recommend!

  My husband was worried about hiring a DJ. After multiple conversations, I was assured.l John was the DJ for us. After the wedding, even my husband agreed John did an amazing job! We gave John complete creative control of our music to read the dance floor, and our guests all danced the night away! He listened to what we wanted and ran with it, my husband and I and our guests had so much fun. We highly recommend him, he even looked like he was having a blast, and our guests loved that, too! We can’t say enough good things about him.

  Angelica made our special day perfect!

  We were blown away by the professionalism and talent that Angelica from Black Tie brought to DJing our wedding. Her warmth, kindness, and support from start to finish were greatly appreciated. Like many young couples planning a wedding, we were not the easiest to work with, but Angelica was so accommodating and lovely, even with our occasional indecisiveness and busy schedule. She entertained and hyped up our guests while ensuring our musical preferences were met. We couldn't recommend Black Tie and Angelica enough. Her exceptional DJ skills and genuine care made our day perfect. She's simply the best!

  10/10 would recommend DJ Rick!

  10/10 would recommend! I hired Rick to DJ my wedding on 12/31/23. I was so nervous because my husband and I decided spontaneously to get married on New Year's Eve around Halloween (not a lot of turnaround time) and I had no idea what I was getting into. Rick was truly a visionary and I knew from our first consultation that he was going to make our wedding successful. His advice due to his extensive experience created a magical and wonderful night that our guests will remember forever. There are different nuances of an NYE wedding that he knew but I never would have thought of. He is truly one of the best in the industry. Plot twist: he's my dad. That did not get in the way of his professionalism that he would show to any client. Not only was he DJing my wedding, but he also found ways to switch his "DJ hat" to a "Dad hat" and was still present and involved throughout the night. If that's not a testament to how awesome he is, I don't know what is.

  We can’t say enough about the amazing quality of service we received from Gene Griffin of BTE! We received so many compliments and inquiries about Gene’s services at our wedding.   Andrew and Black Tie Entertainment were incredible to work with through the DJ process. Everything was seamless with their online platform and the meetings with Andrew leading up to the day made me feel confident going into our wedding. Andrew was there from the prelude music at the ceremony through to the last dance at the reception. He did an amazing job listening to what we wanted and filling in the gaps from there. There were people on the dance floor all night! We're so happy we went with Andrew and definitely recommend him for your special event!

  Amazing Night with Black Tie!

  Black Tie Entertainment and Matt Johnson helped make my wedding day perfect! Pre-wedding, they have an easy-to-use system, are very responsive, and Matt checked in often/set up planning meetings in the couple months before the event. The team was professional and on time, even though tons of streets were blocked by parades and protests, making the venue difficult to get to. Matt played all our "must play" songs, took requests, and kept the dance floor energetic and moving the entire time! So many guests commented on how fun the wedding and the dancing were. We highly recommend him and Black Tie for your wedding!

  Incredible DJ - kept us dancing all night!

  DJ Gene was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wife and I's wedding and an incredible dj on the night of. Our goal was to keep people dancing and moving throughout the night and he made that happen. I had some special requests for older Bollywood songs and Gene mixed those in to keep the crowd hyped up while playing modern American hits. One of my guests wanted to surprise us singing a song live and he worked with her to make it happen.
  
  Overall, I'd absolutely recommend Black Tie Entertainment and DJ Gene.

She was able to give us advice throughout the entire process and we had an absolute blast the night of the wedding!   So happy we went with Black Tie Entertainment as our DJ! We chose Mike Interdonato and couldn't be happier with our decision. From the start, Mike was professional, responsive and super easy to work with. My only request was to have a DJ that could read the crowd and have a packed dance floor all night and DJ Mike delivered! We had so much fun all night thanks to Mike. Couldn't recommend him more!

  James is fantastic!

  My friends all said that this was one of the most fun weddings they have ever been too and I think it's largely due to Black Tie Entertainment and working with James. He was fantastic!

  If you are looking for an evening of endless fun, Matt is your guy! Reading the room brilliantly, always playing the perfect next song, he is the definition of 'perfecting your craft'. Matt recently was the DJ/MC at our wedding and there was never a dull moment throughout the night. Whether it was through his music choices or his MC expertise, Matt was continuously engaging our guests and creating an atmosphere we didn't even know was possible. From the planning process to the end of the wedding, he always had our desires at the forefront and took such pride in delivering a night we would never forget. We would recommend Matt for any occasion as he truly is a World Class DJ/MC.

  Amazing wedding DJ!

  My wife and I had such a great time working with Stephi on our wedding music, and she executed everything perfectly on the day of. We had numerous people tell us that this was the best dancing they ever had experienced at a wedding, and that was all because of Stephi's ability to read the crowd and keep everyone dancing. We also had a few specific music cuts, and Stephi did a great job following our cues to make sure everything worked perfectly! She also always made us feel completely comfortable as a queer couple, which was a huge priority for us!

  Becca did an absolutely fantastic job of coordinating all the different vendors, keeping us on time during the ceremony, and helping us — the newlyweds, parents, and the whole wedding party — enjoy the day stress-free. Rick, the DJ, did an exceptional job, too! It was a wonderful time, and I loved it. I didn’t want it to end! So many of the guests came up to us afterwards and said that this was the best wedding they have ever attended! Thank you!

  Amazing DJ!

  John was absolutely amazing as our wedding DJ! He was extremely helpful in setting up our timeline for the day, accommodating to all of our requests and an enthusiastic hype-man during the reception. Very professional and a joy to work with; 5 star service all around. You will not be disappointed with him!
