  Beautiful dresses and very professional

  Black Tie White Satin couldn’t have done a more beautiful job with my daughter in laws wedding dress, my dress as mother of groom and the 7 bridesmaids dresses! They were perfect and we were so happy with how they all came out!

  Great small town business. They have a lot of options and really go out of their way to make sure each person that walks in the door gets the special attention they need.   I purchased my veil and headpiece from Black Tie and White Satin, and I only wish I had purchased my dress from them as well! They have a huge variety of beautiful gowns, stunning veils and unique headpieces and tiaras! I feel that my veil and headpiece were very reasonably priced for how high quality they were! I'm also going to be purchasing a bridesmaid dress this coming winter and we've already picked them out! They are so helpful and try their best to find the perfect item for you!

  We were able to find the PERFECT bridal gown for my daughter's wedding - and the staff were very, very helpful. We were overwhelmed with the large choice of gowns and she helped us narrow it down until we found the right gown. Very nice venue!

  While Fremont was a bit of a drive from Lincoln, it was well worth it to get my wedding dress here. They had one set price for the alteration, which was a blessing. (At another bridal store in Lincoln, they were hesitant on giving me a ballpark price for alterations and they sourced at the alterations.) Here, I did not have to worry about racking up a high alteration bill- I knew ahead of time how much it would all cost. The peace of mind is well worth it and they did beautiful work. My dress couldn't have fit any better. The employees there are friendly and dealt with my family well.

  Very happy with going to Black Tie White Satin for my wedding dress. I was a bridesmaid last year and our dresses were found here, so when I got engaged I knew I wanted to check out this store again. I was impressed with the service offered and the friendly staff. There was a dress that I did like in Lincoln; however, the store was not forward about the alteration costs. At Black Tie, White Satin there is one cost for alterations which was a huge bonus- and I found a dress that I ultimately loved. I highly recommend going here.

Nobody did, but when I called Black Tie & White Satin, the lady spent almost 30 minutes on the phone with me trying to help me come up with another option. When I went in for my appointments, I was always greeted with a smile and simply felt WELCOME, unlike my experiences elsewhere.

  After having a not so great experience at a bridal store in Lincoln I turned to Black Tie and White Satin. They were very pleasant to work with and helped me with the dress I ended up buying! I never felt ignored or unimportant, they did a great job providing me professional service!

  I loved this place, they can seem stand offish but I think it is just them letting you have your time to look at all of the dresses which can be overwhelming. I would so much rather have someone letting me have my space, then someone cramming dresses I am not interested in down my throat. I had to grab someone to help me out when i did find my dress but she was very helpful with trying to figure out what size and colors. Price was very reasonable too, i would highly recommend them.

They also do all the alterations for a set price, so there are no guesses for budget, and it was cheaper than other friends of mine, so I know it was reasonable. Also, since it was off the rack the fixed anything on it from having been tried on a lot, like the ribbon around it. They were super friendly as well.

  Everyone that works here are very nice and made sure I had a very good time picking out my dress. When I went back for my second fitting, they were very flexible with the schedule. Since I live in Chicago, I don't get back very often so they were very flexible with me and made sure everything worked for me.

  The dress I got at Black Tie and White Satin was amazing - Jena by Maggie Soterro. I found my dress fairly easily - I did try on quite a few different dresses. We started out with various shapes of dresses and once I had decided on a shape and style of dress, it was easy to just try on those types and I found my dress. The staff athere were nice and friendly, but I had my sister-in-law help me with fitting and lacing. Overall, my experience was great and I wouldn't change my dress for anything.

  My first impression was no good, I walked in carrying a baby and apparently that's a signal that I don't want to be helped with wedding dresses because I looked like a single mom. Once they realized that I was getting married and actually had money to spend on a dress they were very helpful. Anytime I changed my mind, or wanted to verify something they were very helpful, and there was always someone around to do what I needed done with the bridesmaids' dresses.

  When my original wedding dress came in I was really excited to go try it on. It was a Saturday and my best friend needed to get fitted for her bridesmaids dress so we went together. The store was very busy so I tried on my dress and put it away into a CLEAR BAG BY MYSELF. I then carried it out of the dressing room and handed it to a sales associate to put into the back room for safe keeping. The next week I returned to the store with my mom and sisters. My sisters had not seen my wedding dress in person so I wanted to try it on for them. A sales associate went and got my dress and put it into a dressing room for me. When I walked into the dressing room the sales associate said, “the last time we put your dress away we noticed there was a rip in it. We already ordered you a new one and it will be here by April.” I walked over to my dress and looked at the hole. The hole was up high and appeared as though someone had put a high heel through it while trying to put it on. The dress was also in a BRIGHT PINK BAG instead of the clear bag I had put it into myself. The store offered no explanation as to how the hole happened, but I am pretty sure they allowed another person to try it on.
  
  The store fixed their wrong and ordered me a new dress. The new dress came in with several months to spare. I thought everything would be fine and that they would take special care of my second dress after ruining the first one. Boy was I wrong. The stores seamstress hemmed my new dress CROOKED. One side of my dress was too short and the other side was too long. It was a TWO inch difference from one side to the other. I asked them how they intended to fix it when the side that was too short had already been cut. The seamstress reassured me that they would be able lengthen it by pulling length out of the bodice. I then returned the week before my wedding thinking it would be fixed. They hemmed my dress THREE INCHES off the ground and told me that’s how it was supposed to be.
