Lydia was amazing!! She was very attentive and went above and beyond my expectations! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. She was able to capture my flower vision perfectly and I cried tears of happiness when I picked them up up. If you are debating real vs artificial flowers I will tell you now call to Bessies and ask for Lydia. You will not regret it! -

Easy to work with
We eloped in New River Gorge. We did not make the trip down to discuss anything, just planned via email. They were able to give me the most beautiful flowers, exactly as I described, all just via email. Super grateful for the experience. -

Barb and her team at Bessie's went above and beyond to make our day everything we ever wanted! It needs to be noted that Bessie's was not our original vendor for our florals. When our original florist stated they could not guarantee the majority of our flowers and could not guarantee that they could even be there to set up the arrangements due to Covid restrictions, I, of course, panicked. I had always envisioned my wedding with a ton of elaborate floral arrangements and it seemed as though that wasn't going to be feasible. My wedding planner immediately contacted the most reliable and most talented florist she works with - Barb at Bessie's. She discussed with her the situation at hand and without falter, Barb agreed, with excitement, to do our wedding. She even spoke directly to me on the phone to confirm that she would indeed make our dreams a reality. . .and she did exactly that. The florals for our wedding were absolutely stunning! I could not have asked for anything else. She truly made my visions come to life. My wedding planner provided them with the design plan we created and Bessie's NAILED IT!! I cannot say enough wonderful things - not only did they provide dreamy, magnificent, beautiful florals, they provided us with peace of mind. After the initial meeting with Barb, we never once worried about that aspect of our wedding. Gave them 5 stars because I unfortunately give them more. -

User5381423 Sent on 06/18/2014This floral company may be in a small town, but they are big city worthy! I can't say enough about the incredible Barbara, and her incredible team at Bessie's Flowers. They gave me the flowers of my dreams, and I couldn't have been more pleased with her service and work product. They will work with your budget, give you the best of the best when it comes to everything and anything, and they make dreams come true. This was my best, no-fuss, no worry, and most pleasing vendor in my entire wedding! -

When my husband and I got married in 2013, we wanted a simple wedding with simple flowers that wouldn't blow our budget. Bessie's delivered bigtime! My bouquet was beautiful and absolutely perfect! We also got three bridesmaid's bouquets, two Mom corsages, six boutineers, fifteen small table arrangements (we provided the jars), one larger altar arrangement, a throwaway bouquet and they even sent some extra blooms for the cake. Service was phenomenal, and the price was right. I can't recommend them highly enough:) Thanks for a beautiful day, Bessie's!! -

She took a personal interest in making sure this important aspect of the wedding was exceptional. You can trust she will do what she says she will, and you won't have to worry about the results
