  Fun and stress-free!

  My fiance and I found Blue Boat after doing a web search for photographers in our area to photograph our engagement. Glad we did! James was so much fun and really made us feel comfortable and inspired for our 1940s vintage themed shoot! I love the finished product and am excited to start planning the wedding!

  James was so AMAZING at our engagement session that we decided we had to have him for our destination wedding in Maui! He designed a package for us and even threw in a second engagement session, which we will have later this month. I would recommend him 100%

  My husband and I hired James for our engagement and wedding photos and I am so happy that we did! James is very personable and cares about his clients. Our wedding was not the traditional American wedding but James totally fit in with our guests and family. He is aware and sensitive towards different cultural dynamics. He has a bubbly and fun personality. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a photographer who cares about making his clients happy and not just there to collect a paycheck at the end of the day.

  James was great! He was so accommodating and really fun to work with. My fiance hired him to capture our proposal at the Desert Botanical Gardens, and he truly captured our moment flawlessly! His pricing is fair and he's super easy to work with. Thank you again James! You rock!

  During the wedding, James was great. Although my wife's dress slipped down exposing part of her bra. He never mentioned this, just kept taking pictures After the wedding, the service was horrible. He was about 1 month late in getting us the pictures. Kept getting different excuses as to why the pictures were delayed. When he finally did post them on his site, he used our wrong name in naming each of the files. He also promised a photo album. Continuously asked him for this. Finally got it ordered. Delivery was delayed initially due to the hurricane in TX (obviously not his fault). However, after waiting another 3 weeks after the hurricane, I asked for an update and he sent the tracking number. Turns out the album was being sent to our street address, but in Phoenix. We live in Mesa. The only way they could have gotten the wrong address was from James. Took another 3 weeks for them to track it down and finally get it to us. All in all, a horrible experience in trying to get our pictures and album. Too long to respond to phone calls and emails and too many excuses as to why he wasn't delivering.
