  Jeanette could not have been any easier to work with in selecting our wedding cake. On our initial visit she provided us with a large variety of cake flavors to mix and match with cream filling flavors that showcased her large selection of options. If there was a difficult part to the process it was being able to decide what we wanted. Once we picked our flavors she was very willing to build the travel theme cake that we wanted including adding a stencil of a world map. The end result was amazing. It was a beautiful cake, exactly like what we had described to her. The cake was perfectly moist and the flavors were amazing. Days later our guests are still talking about it.

  Jeanette did an amazing job with my rustic vision. First my Groom and I went to a delicious cake tasting . I told Jeanette and showed her pictures of what I was looking for. She did a sketch . It was perfect , delicious and just beautiful. Her prices are incredibly reasonably. Thank you again Blue Ivy Cakery I will be using you for many more events to come. And Anthony and I can't wait to eat our top of the wedding cake on our first one year anniversary.

  We went to Jeanette with such a specific vision of what we wanted but on a tight budget and she delivered a product better than I ever could have imagined! She also had an array of the most delicious nontraditional flavors to choose from that we ended up with orange cake with passionfruit filling that our guests were simply raving about! So easy to work with and I couldn't be happier with the final product. A real pleasure.

  We cannot say enough good things about Jeanette and Blue Ivy Company and Cakery. We found her company on a search of local vendors on The Knot after our original cake person stopped responding to emails. We contacted several companies but because we wanted a “naked” cake (no frosting on the outside), many either had no experience or wouldn’t make it because of the potential for drying out. From her first response, Jeanette was a true professional with an obvious passion for what she does. She explained that although she had never made a naked cake for a wedding, she had made them for other occasions and then went into a whole explanation of the technique she would use to keep the cake moist. We proceeded to schedule a cake tasting with her which sealed the deal. She created a mini naked cake for us to get an idea of how it would look. She also made samples of three other flavor combinations and all were delicious! We discussed a few different designs on the day of the tasting and within a couple of days she had sent us sketches of the designs as well as a magazine article on the naked cake trend. On our wedding day the cake was not only beautiful but delicious! It was more than just a cake, it was a conversation piece! She has even offered to make a replica top tier for our one year anniversary, if anything should happen to the one saved between now and then. Jeanette was one of our favorite vendors and we look forward to ordering and enjoying her cakes for future celebrations.

  I would recommend Blue IVY Cakery to anyone. The cost was reasonable and quality of servce was great. I had them to do my bachelorette cake and it came out excellent. I couldnt pass up, not having them to do my beautiful wedding and also my Anniversary cake which was very tasty as the other three cakes.
  
  I look forward in doing business with this company again in the future.

  Ms. Jennette did a wonderful job on my cake. My sister called her a week prior to the wedding and she didn't hesitate, the cake was ready and delivered to me on my wedding day. It was beautiful and delicious, and on my 1st wedding anniversary she called me a week prior and asked what kind of cake I wanted for my anniversary "free". I was very satisfied and would definitely recommend her to everyone.

  We were so happy about the cake and grooms cake from Jeanette! We ordered a tiered wedding cake that had tropical flavors, she has a great selection and the grooms cake was Boba Fett helmet(we are big star wars fans).
  
  The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars was the grooms cake was supposed to be a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and it was a vanilla cake with lemon or another kind of citrus flavor. It was still a hit with our guests and it was more than likely an honest mistake. Overall, very happy with the service!
