Nick and Colin were the best! We had seen videos they created from friends of ours, and we wanted to hire them so badly we flew them in from California! Both Blue Kite Boys were so easy to work with, funny, professional, and did fantastic work. Our vignette made me cry! (me and many others) We were so pleased with the longer video as well. They were worth every penny and I would wholly recommend them to anyone else.Nick and Colin were the best! Nick and Colin put in so much more effort than possibly any of us could have ever suspected. They are so incredibly friendly and professional, and just awesome to have around at any moment. They are dedicated and dependable, and we simply could not have asked any more of them than they gave willingly. They are the best, and worth absolutely every single penny. If I could give them more stars I would!! Blue Kite Cinema is just amazing! My highlight video and my feature film looks like a movie. Ah where do we start?
From the moment I watched Blue Kite Cinema’s “Stacy & Andrew” video I knew that there would be no other pair of videographers that would be right for us. I was so touched and after drying my tears, I emailed them right away. When Nick wrote back I learned these guys were not only down to earth…they were adventurous, well traveled, used Yelp, liked good food; to sum it up they were AWESOME. The more we learned about them, the more we liked them. Due to budget constraints we were debating whether or not we should get any video coverage at our wedding. I even tried to find another videographer, but it always came back to that “Stacy & Andrew” video.
Collin and Nick did an amazing job capturing our "Rave" wedding! I could not stop smiling watching our trailer. My family couldn't help but tear up each time it played. The whole wedding was so stressful I couldn't wait for it to be over! It ended up great though. I can't help but want to go back to that night and their video helps me go back. Hiring Blue Kite was one of our best decisions. After all...weddings are once in a lifetime and I'm so happy we captured all the moments.Ah where do we start?

Nick and Colin are the real deal when it comes to film making!
I had been searching for over a year for a videographer when I happened to see the video they did for Shaun T & Scott. Instantly I was blown away and I knew that we had to contact them about their availability for our wedding. We got married June 15, 2014 in Brooklyn NY and it wasnt an issue at all for them to travel from LA for our special day. They made the travel process very easy!
From the start, we knew that they were different in the best sense. Not all vendors take the time to learn about the couple they are going to work with. They really took the time to get to know us over the year we had to plan our wedding and I am so happy to say that we are all very good friends! And because of that commitment to getting to know their couples, you can see the comfort level and authenticity in every film they shoot.
One of the assets I feel that is their biggest strength is their background in music. The fact that these guys have the education, talent and creativity in music making and performance will only enhance the films they make for you. And because they shoot music videos, they can bring a fresh, new, and lively look a feel to your film. They are well traveled and have an excellent sense for cinematography and photography. Every shot in our film was well composed with beautiful lighting and artistry. Not everyone can do this, and it just shows the natural eye and talent they have where they can capture the best moments.
I love that they arent afraid to try new things and they involved us in the creative process. They are masters of coming up with fun concepts for each film which results in Hollywood quality editing and music mastering.

BKC are not wedding videographers ... they are incredible story tellers and cinematographic geniuses. Nick and Colin are simply awesome ... not to mention very easy and fun to work with. Even though they were located on the west coast for our east coast wedding - we choose them and couldnt imagine if we went with someone else. They nailed everything, from the music to both the short and long film - we could not be happier with the final product. These guys are awesome and will exceed every expectation you have. Just remember if you want a traditional wedding videographer you should look elsewhere. I will tell you all what I've told my girlfriends that recently got engaged - look no further than Nick and Colin from Blue Kite Cinema. I can honestly say that my wedding videos (both the trailer and full length) are better than any I have ever seen. I know it might sound biased, but I mean it. Nick and Colin are true story-tellers. They meet with you and truly get to know you. They are not the same, old, boring videographers. They perfectly craft a story that you will want to watch over and over again.

We could not have been more pleased with the work of Blue Kite Cinema for our wedding in July 2013! And we say this despite the fact that both of us strongly resisted hiring videographers for our wedding (we didn't think it was worth the price, particularly because we're somewhat camera shy and didn't want videographers getting in the way of our guests or making our guests feel uncomfortable). We ended up taking the plunge and hiring Blue Kite Cinema only about one week before our wedding. In short, Blue Kite Cinema absolutely overcame all of our fears. Nick and Colin were incredibly discreet throughout the entire wedding. They never got in the way of anyone and they had super cool video cameras that looked like normal cameras. In fact, many of our guests had no idea that videographers were on-site filming the wedding. We were also very impressed with the quality of Blue Kite Cinema's work. We (and our family and friends) love the highlight video, and Nick and Colin were even nice enough to give us some uncut footage of the wedding. Nick and Colin are great guys and were very easy to work with from start to finish. Our only regrets are that we didn't hire them sooner and didn't buy a more expensive wedding package. We absolutely recommend Blue Kite Cinema. I was hesitant to have a videographer at all as my husband is very shy, but he felt completely comfortable around them, as did all of our friends and family. The video they made was so touching and really captured the essence of not only our wedding day but also who we are as a couple.Nick and Colin were so incredibly fantastic. My wedding video is completely breathtaking and amazing! I have never seen another video like it! Colin and Nick did such an amazing job! The color, the angles and music set the tone so beautify I couldn’t be happier with it! Before the wedding my husband and I sat down with the guys for coffee and asked us a bunch of questions so they could really personalize our video! They are both very friendly and fun to work with! On our wedding day they were very professional and I even forgot they were there a lot of the time. I highly recommend choosing them to video your wedding! Sometimes pictures just do not say enough. These guys were awesome! Nick and Colin got all the details perfectly. They were super fun and easy to work with before, during and after the wedding. The film is BEAUTIFUL.
