Absolutely flawless!
Hiring Blue Lotus Insights to plan + design your event is the best decision you will make! Neha and her team came all the way out to Porterville, CA and transformed my parent's home for my engagement ceremony + party.
Neha drove several hours for multiple site visits/walkthroughs and had so many ideas on how to utilize the space. She coordinated all of the vendors seamlessly despite working with most of them for the first time as they were local to the Central Valley. She and her team even helped us find a valet parking vendor after the one we had booked cancelled just days before the event! She handled all of the rentals (chairs, tables, bars, lounge furniture, vendor tents, tableclothes, plateware, glassware), built a beautiful wooden ceremony stage, and helped with the overall styling of all the decor. This is all on top of the planning and day of coordination!
The BLI team really does it all and there is no way we could have pulled this party off without them. I'm beyond excited to be working with them on my upcoming wedding as well. Thank you BLI! -

The Blue Lotus Insights Team is absolutely wonderful to work with! The planning and execution of our wedding events was phenomenal. Due to COVID-19 our planning with Blue Lotus was extended and they were extremely helpful along the way by helping us work around a postponed wedding date, vendor closures, and last minute emergencies. Our wedding was a multi-day multicultural wedding and they helped ensure every event was planned just how we wanted it. They are very well-connected in the wedding industry, so Neha and her team had plenty of recommendations and suggestions along the way, but they always made sure not to dissuade us from our vision for each event. While there were many vendors we wanted to work with that Blue Lotus Insights was familiar with, there were also quite a few we specifically wanted that were new to them, but the team was very open to each one and took care of everything. Neha and Courtney kept us on track throughout the entire planning process and Courtney made sure that everything was completing leading up to our wedding events. Courtney individually checked in with each vendor throughout the process and ensured that everything would run smoothly. The week of our wedding we had several issues arise. First, our Priest got COVID-19. Neha was quick to call many priests and let us know who our options were. Second, we had two different vendors surprise us with price increases or additional items. Neha and Courtney spent countless hours on the phone with each vendor working out details and securing the original contracted prices without impacting our events. The BLI team organized monthly and weekly meetings and were always available if we had a question for them or if a new idea popped into our minds. We have received many, many compliments on the execution of our events from many guests and we truly owe that to the BLI team! On the day of the events we (the bride and groom) and our families were very relaxed as we knew that the BLI team had everything under control. The timelines are incredible and they truly know how to make the events run smoothly. Neha and her team helped make our wedding weekend feel magical and we are forever grateful for their dedication to our wedding events. Courtney, you are so incredible and truly a pleasure to have on our team. We miss our weekly calls and are so grateful that you do what you do! Neha, you have built an incredible wedding planning business and you know exactly what you are doing and how to do it. With this team, your wedding will be the wedding of your dreams! Planning a destination wedding from afar is not an easy task, but having Neha and Amanda by our side made that task a breeze. Their experience, professionalism, patience, hard work (and friendship!) throughout the process allowed us to have the wedding of our dreams.
Neha quickly responded to our initial inquiry and made time to meet us at the last minute on a weekend we were in California looking at venues. From the moment we met her, it felt like we were reunited with an old family friend. It quickly became clear that she was very experienced in Indian weddings and knew how to maintain the most intimate and special details of an Indian wedding for couples and their families. Despite meeting a few other wedding planners, the connection and comfort we felt with Neha made choosing a planner one of our easiest decisions.
Neha jumped right in to helping us plan our wedding. She provided us with realistic timelines for the 8 month planning process, excellent vendor recommendations and patiently answered all the questions we and our families had. We honestly didn’t think we could ask for more in a wedding planner - until we met Amanda! Amanda is so sweet, patient, and hard working - and an absolute design genius! She made the design process simple, allowing us to focus on our vision and the fun details, while she took care of the background work needed to make that vision come to life. She worked with us through numerous design changes, giving us reality checks when needed and offering opinions as an experienced professional where we should splurge and where we could save.
Seeing how these two worked together as a team was an absolute pleasure. They were committed to understanding our vision and remained so patient, even when that changed many times! They recommended vendors accordingly, made negotiating contracts a breeze and were always willing to go above and beyond to help however they could. As other reviews have mentioned, every vendor we spoke with, whether they had worked with BLI in the past or not, had nothing but wonderful things to say about them.
Throughout the planning process, Amanda and Neha made us feel like we were their only clients. They never took long to respond to a text, a phone call or an email, no matter the time of night. Despite the 3 hour time difference and our busy schedules, they always found time for our planning calls and were flexible when we had to change timings at the last minute.
Neha and Amanda played a pivotal role in making our wedding weekend as amazing as it was. We (the bride and groom) reached California just a day before our events began, but rarely felt stressed the whole weekend. The whole BLI team was always ready to handle a last minute hiccup or disaster, usually before we even realized something was wrong. This allowed us and our families to thoroughly enjoy the weekend. Almost 8 months later, our guests are still raving about how beautiful, unique and fun our wedding was and how smoothly the weekend went. We truly cannot thank the whole BLI team enough for their help in making the best weekend of our life so perfect! -

One of the biggest thing a bride and groom need with their wedding planner is trust. That's exactly what we got with the Blue Lotus Insights team! We decided to do a "destination wedding" in California with us and all of our family/friends coming from the east coast. We knew we had to get a planner to pull this off, and picking BLI was our best decision. Everything after that was easy. Neha & Amanda were a great combo on getting things done for us. They found all of our vendors, guided us through each step, and calmed our nerves through the process. People usually say wedding planning is so stressful, but that wasn't the case for us. They took care of everything and made us feel comfortable. We highly recommend using BLI for your wedding and just trust them. Let them do their thing and enjoy the ride :) -- Dhwani & Mitul Patel -

Amanda & Neha are amazing to work with — can't recommend them enough. They bring together a rare combo of incredible creativity and vision, flawless execution, and on-the-fly adaptability to be able to respond to changing circumstances. On the day of our wedding, they took what could have been a tough situation - unexpected rain & wet weather - and somehow pulled off magic by reorganizing the entire event flow into an even more beautiful setup within just 24 hrs. I'll never forget walking into our new Sangeet space and just being blown away how quickly and beautifully they pulled off that change. So appreciative for Amanda, Neha, and the entire BL team - they're best-in-class and do it all with a fun spirit - not losing sight of the love, joy, and magic of a wedding in all the logistics/details! (Note: We worked with Blue Lotus in May 2019 for our wedding). -

Both Neha and Amanda were a joy to work with and we could not have been happier with how the spectacular the event was because of them. They are both so talented and hard-working. They were tremendously organized, they thought of every single detail and the evening could not have been more beautiful, from the flowers to the decor to the setting to the DJ to the food. They even helped picked out the great photographer and videographer. Plus they were always concerned with us staying in budget which is rare these days with wedding planners. We could not recommend a wedding planner any better than Blue Lotus Insights. -

This EXACTLY what Blue Lotus Insights did for us. Neha and her team handled everything and allowed us to have stress free day. She spent ton of time and energy perfecting our wedding day and followed through on every single detail beyond our expectation. I would highly recommend Blue Lotus Insights. The investment in hiring this excellent wedding planner is very well worth it. -
User1568133 Sent on 03/26/2014Working with bluelotus insights was AMAZING!! Neha and her staff were extremely helpful and helped make our wedding the most amazing weekend of our lives! We began working with them about 1 year prior to our wedding. They helped walk us through the initial steps by creating an inspirational board for us after listening to our likes/dislikes. This helped us enormously by making the wedding seem less overwhelming and much more organized. After that, they provided us with several options for vendors for every detail of the wedding and did conference calls with us with each of the vendors. They also worked with us to pick vendors that would serve our needs/wants.
Neha was extremely accessible and available at all times for any questions or concerns. If there was any issue or miscommunication, Neha took care of it for us! She kept in close contact with all of our vendors and made our lives so much easier!
During the actual wedding event, Neha and her staff made everything run so smoothly. Every single event ran on time without any delay! Several friends and family members even told us this was the smoothest run wedding they had ever been to! In addition, Neha and her team went out of their way to do everything possible to make sure my husband and I were stress free the entire weekend. We are so happy and grateful to have had them throughout the entire process! We would strongly recommend using bluelotussinsights for others who have an upcoming wedding!!

She did a great job dealing with lots of moving pieces and making sure everything ran smoothly on the day of our events. A big part of this was that she was great about being available and accessible to meet with us while planning, so that everyone was on the same page. We used her for some of our rentals, and I was really happy with how it all looked on the day of our event. Neha and her team have strong relationships with all sorts of vendors and she's great about introducing you to the right vendor for your event. I really appreciated how helpful she was and how on top of it her entire team is at Blue Lotus Insights, it really was a pleasure working with them.

User1574804 Sent on 04/02/2014We would definitely recommend Blue Lotus Insights--if for nothing else, the fact that the wedding day ran *so* smoothly. Usually the bride/groom are wrapped up and doesn't notice a lot on the day of the wedding, I know, but it was very obvious to both me & my husband how seamlessly everything was running (and an Indian wedding with everything ON TIME?! Who would have thought it possible!) Sooo many of our guests were VERY impressed & commented on how the event ran, and I can't credit anyone but Neha & her excellent team for pulling that off. Before the event, they touched base with all the vendors multiple times to ensure everyone was on the same page.
Due to the stress involved in the planning process, there were a few bumps we hit a long the way, but overall I would have to say that the flawless way in which our wedding day was executed more than made up for any apprehension beforehand.
A special thanks also goes to the bridal attendant, Ashley, who was with me the whole day and took care of everything that I needed. It was such a luxury to have her there, but I have no idea how I would have gotten through the day without her.
We had a pretty tight budget as we were paying for everything ourselves, and Neha, as she had promised in our initial meeting, took staying on budget very seriously. She helped us get most of our vendors, and we were so, so pleased with the recommendations she gave--every single one of her recommended vendors *nailed* it on the day of the wedding, especially her food recommendation (Mantra). One unique thing about Neha is that she will attend all vendor meetings with you (which I think is pretty unique for an Indian wedding planner in LA).
