    I hired the best planners EVER

    I realized real quick that the most important thing to get for your wedding is a PLANNER. As a bride, having Blue Wings with me every step of the way made my life so much easier. Planning was streamlined with constant contact, and they got in contact with all vendors so I didn't have to. They were a big help at rehearsal, since I had so many people to get into line! Once all the final details were cemented, the day of became my perfect fantasy wedding. If anything went wrong, I have no idea anything did. They had everything under control, and kept the wedding moving with a schedule. I was worry free, and enjoying my wedding to the max! If ANY bride is on the fence about hiring planners, you need to choose them! Planners are a must, but you must have the best, the kindest, and the natural leaders that they are. Get Blue Wings!

    Beyond a dream wedding

    Cannot stress enough how thankful I am to have had Angela plan my wedding with me. She pays so much attention to detail, got to know me so well, and worked so well with everyone involved. This was beyond my dream wedding--because there's no way I could have ever come up with even half of the beautiful event that was my wedding.. I owe it to Angela for creating the event of a lifetime!! Angela has mastered the art of detail, creativity, and working on whatever budget. I am scatter-brained and indecisive, and Angela knew exactly what I wanted to be involved in and what I didn't, and handled me accordingly and I cannot thank her enough for putting up with me during the entire process!! Love Angela and her team!

    Best Decision Ever

    Angela and her team are the best! She is part mind-reader, part mom and part miracle worker. With very random input on my part she was able to plan the most beautiful and picture perfect night for us. The vendors she recommended were all amazing and we stayed right on budget. Every little detail was exactly what I wanted. I can't stress enough how easy the Blue Wings team made the entire process.

    Angela only gets five out of five stars down the line because the maximum is five stars, and if we would give her more we could. We can't say enough how much we appreciated everything she did for us for this whole wedding planning process, and this is coming from folks who were at the onset really not planning to have a wedding planner/coordinator. But she has a gift for everything related to her job. She listens, she respects our vision and ideas, she wrangles anyone who needs wrangling, she offers amazing and genuine emotional support, she's fun, and she really knows how to get her ducks in a row. She has experience and she has lots of great connections. We hired her after having hired most of our vendors, but one fell through and she found one for us that were about as perfect as they could be. Plus she really went above and beyond on all those extra details including with decor. She gave us so much extra time to make sure everything was how we wanted, with the result being we were in consternation on the day of the wedding that this was actually our wedding. Everything she had a hand in way exceeded our expectations. She kept my sanity and mitigated any impending disaster, even made sure we were able to eat, stay somewhat hydrated, and be able to slip away to the restroom when needed. Timing was awesome and dang she is organized and thorough. Unless your wedding involves a drive-through chapel in Vegas, hire a wedding planner or at least a wedding coordinator. But more importantly hire Angela and her team. And come to think of it even if you had a drive-through chapel in Vegas you should still hire Angela because that would be a lot of fun and she'd make sure your Elvis impersonator had a sufficient amount of sequins.

    I don't even know where to begin. I was always skeptical about needing a wedding planner. My MIL finally convinced me to hire one and that's when I found Angela, my saving grace. Angela went above and beyond in every aspect from helping me find the most PERFECT officiant and a fantastic videographer within our budget (I never would've been able to find a videographer in our budget without Angela's help) to taking care of all the small details. We live out of town, so she went to walk-throughs for us, met with vendors and even dealt with our venue that is known to be incredibly strict with rules and timing. There are just so many wonderful things to say that I can't even remember them all. If you're in Seattle/Tacoma HIRE ANGELA. I guarantee that you will not regret it. She turned this skeptic into a believer and made our vision come alive.

    I was skeptical at first to hire a wedding planner because I didn't think it was in my budget. As it turns out, it wasn't in my budget NOT to hire a planner! Being new to the area, I saved so much time and money working with Angela at Blue Wings Events. She was able to make fabulous recommendations for vendors that I NEVER would have found without her help. Angela was easy to get ahold of, and very organized and responsive. She even drove an hour to meet me AT MY HOUSE so we could go over wedding plans on many separate occasions. This was a huge help because I have a one year old son who is easier to keep track of when we are at home.
    I feel like Angela went above and beyond in more ways that I could describe. Something extra special was that she went wedding dress shopping with me since I don't have family around.
    If I had only one statement to make about the the service I received from Blue Wings Events, it is that I feel like Angela gave me the most spectacular event, that turned out even more beautiful than I imagined, while continually being respectful of our budget.
    Honestly, weddings are so much work. And we (most of us) only get married once in a lifetime. Spend the money and hire an event planner who has done this many times, or hate your life for the duration of your engagement.

    My advice is if you think you can handle your wedding by yourself, you’re probably wrong. And if you’re one of the rare people that can, you’re going to be so stressed out you won’t be having the fun you deserve on your wedding day. The help of Blue Wings was worth every single penny.

    Blue Wings was a great company to plan our special day with. They have a variety of packages and helped us decide what best suited our needs. We're procrastinators so we gave Angela free reign to call, text, e-mail, and nag us to meet our deadlines and she did! She'd grab dinner with us before Sounders games, call us during our layovers at airports, or have full texting conversations when we couldn't make time to talk. We live an hour and a half apart and that was never an issue, she’d drive wherever we wanted to meet.

    Before meeting her I didn’t know half of the stuff that I needed to plan for. She educated me and had everything in an organized fashion and conquered one thing at a time. I was indifferent on almost all things related to décor and Angela was a life saver in this aspect. She’d send me ideas for center pieces, flower arrangements, table numbers, seating charts – you name it. She was comfortable to work with so I had no problem saying I hate this idea, that’s ugly, or my favorite – I am NOT paying that much! She worked with me to find ways to make things classy and also not break my budget.

    Angela was committed to making sure our day was as smooth as it possible. I had a decoration emergency and she rushed out and bought something to fix it with her own money and spared me from ever knowing anything went wrong. It wasn’t until a couple months later we were reminiscing and she told me the story. She not only takes pride in her work but she genuinely cares that you have the best wedding.

    Angela really helped make our day perfect! So professional and detailed. She even helped the bridal party by ironing dresses on the day of. Because of Angela, I didn't have to worry about anything and could truly enjoy our wedding. It was perfect! Thank you Angela!

    As a designer I was recently involved in all the pre- planning of my clients beautiful wedding. But when it came to the day of the event I felt adequate in handling all the possible challenges and details involved. Angela was our "day of planner" and I considered Angela "our angel". Every detail was handled flawlessly. If a challenge came up it was just handled and nobody knew it ever existed. It could've been a totally different day without her!

    10/10 amazing experience. Angela was a great resource, and I would like to sing her praises. Leading up to our wedding day she made herself available at any given moment, text, email, phone calls, she responded to every question or concern within the hour. We met for no less than half a dozen times, where we discussed everything from design ideas, etiquete, timelines, budget, rentals, contracts, and honestly the who/what/when/where/and why of OUR wedding. She knew all the right questions to ask to help us turn our thoughts into reality. Before we knew it our wedding day was in a week. Everything was in place, and it just needed to happen. This is where she shines. Angela wrangled everyone from the wedding party, the photographer, the rental deliveries, the venue personel, i mean everyone. She made sure they all knew exeactly what their jobs were, and that they were there to do them. I was completely hands off for this last week before the wedding and it made the process so much less stress. On the big day she ran it like a Swiss watch. Everything ran seamlessly, period. Our expectations were high, and they were blown out of the water. Thank you a million times over Angela. We couldn't have done it without you.
