Wedding experience

We had our Indian wedding at the Kentucky Castle and we had Bluegrass rentals for our decor and planning services. Our wedding planner, Lakshmi, was great to work with and has made our wedding planning less stressful. She was approachable and has helped us coordinate with other vendors and also helped negotiate prices for the most part. They have been very helpful in postponing our wedding due to COVID including talking to all the vendors and rescheduling. I recommend their services for easy approachability, reasonable prices, and coordination. Overall, we had an excellent experience and had a great time at our wedding.

Great experience

I have used Bluegrass for 6 events and have been very happy with them. They are proficient and professional, communicated clearly and even helped with I miss-ordered and got me the needed items after they were closed.

We very happy to use them. They took their time with us to make sure that we had everything we needed to make our reception area beautiful. We were there the first time for like two half to three hours picking out the items we wanted and to make sure that it all matched well. The lady that helped us was so nice and friendly. She also came up with all of ideas to make the tables look excellent with different centerpieces. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for more ideas and suggestions for making their reception and ceremony areas elegent.

So easy to work with. We changed our order at least twice and they were so understanding. Our tent was set up in no time at all, and they set up early enough that we had a few days to decorate a no extra charge. I would gladly use them again for a big event

We looked at every rental company, and Bluegrass was by far the cheapest so we decided to go with them. We immediately regretted it. John (the owner/manager) was EXTREMELY rude and difficult to work with. Would not answer any of our questions, acted severely frustrated when we asked him anything, and would snap and tell us he was busy and couldn't help us. We were freaking out because we couldn't get the answers we needed to arrange things for our wedding and with other vendors. He FINALLY answered our questions the WEEK OF the wedding. This caused major chaos and error. I would highly advise you to pay a little more and be stress free with another vendor. The price was not worth the trouble and stress it caused. I recommend that Bluegrass Rentals hire someone that can actually communicate with their customers because this experience was dreadful. ESPECIALLY for the $$ we paid him.

I would not do business with them again, tent was very dirty, had OIL, dirt, mud , all on inside top. I wish I had asked Rick from absolute entertainment, the Dj is very experienced and knows alot about weddings. But you learn from experience. Just look else where, save yourself alot of headaches and not use bluegrass rental. I paid 2,500 got dirty tent. Short 30 chairs, i could go on and on but I will leave good enough alone.

He gets all 1 star because he is charging my credit card with out authorization and stealing money from me. We agreed to a price over the phone, he needed a card for delivery, then after the fact decided to charge me additional $100.00 with out letting me know in advance! He never called to even let me know why, just felt like he could charge away! I had to call to find out why he was charging my credit card more....he was rude, hung up on me twice, said any other rental company would charge more money...and said we are UPS we only offer curb service! #1 I rent with companies all the time...no other company in the Louisville area will treat you with such disrespect as he did! No other company will charge your credit card with out authorization, like he did and refuse to give you your money back! No other company has a thief as an owner!!! Like him! #2 don't put yourself on the level of customer service as UPS or other rental companies because you are NOT at their level! You are rude, disrespectful, you make unauthorized credit card charges! Save yourself the money and stress!!! Go see any other company!

Do not use this company. Rented 250 white resin chairs and 20-60" round tables. Chairs were dirty and had to be cleaned, 85 were extremely yellowed, and 13 were broken and/or badly torn. Owner has been rude and unresponsive. Have emailed, multiple times and called to discuss partial refund. Will not answer the phone and will not return emails. Have filed a complaint with the BBB. I would give zero star rating if possible.

Do not rent from this vendor. His tents are disgusting. They are riddled with holes and have patches of mold and grime. His chairs were dirty and broken. The tables were covered with duct tape. The dance floor was so filthy a mop would not even clean it. Me and my 65-year-old mother-in-law had to scrub it by hand. The owner is rude and does not return phone calls back. I have filed a complaint with the BBB.
