  Very organized band with amazing stage presence!

  We had high expectations for BWK and we were BLOWN AWAY by how amazing they were on our wedding day! We worked with Molly as our producer who was extremely responsive and on top of everything. BWK has a planning portal that we used throughout the process which kept everything extremely organized. They were extremely familiar with our venue which was super helpful as they were able to provide helpful recommendations on how to make the evening flow best music-wise.
  
  We had a six-piece band which was a great size for our venue, with them performing at the cocktail hour and at the reception. They had amazing stage presence the whole time and really got everyone up and dancing. We were a bit worried that they play the same setlist for every wedding, but they really did curate to our music likes/dislikes (including the DJ portion). Our guests absolutely RAVED about them, and many guests said they hadn't danced like that in years!

  Incredible band!!

  We debated hiring a band vs DJ and we can truly say hiring Bluewater Kings was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our 7 piece band blew us and all of our guests away - we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the dance floor! They read the crowd perfectly and kept the energy up the whole night. They are so talented and have a really wide range! The planning process was also great with them - Molly was very communicative and helped talk me through some of the questions and concerns I had with a band playing at our venue. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is even considering a band!! They truly made our night so memorable.

  The Best Night of Our Lives

  Words can't describe how grateful my husband and I are to Bluewater Kings Band for making our wedding day so special. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Molly and the Bluewater Kings Band. We wish we could yell from the rooftops to anyone and everyone who will listen about how phenomenal our experience was with the band. Our wedding would not have been the same without them. Our guests are STILL talking about how spectacular the music was, and I imagine they will continue to talk about it for years. I know we will. Thank you thank you thank you. Molly and the band have contributed so much to making our wedding day the best day of our lives.

  Fantastic band!

  Bluewater Kings was great! They played the hell out of our wedding reception and had our guests on their feet until the night was over. The organization was extremely responsive to our needs, and sought out out musical preferences and priorities with a call ahead of our date. They provided MC services to help run our reception as well as AV for the whole event. They accommodated both a live performance and recorded audio for first dance songs (our only complaint being that they didn’t end up playing a specific audio file that was sent for the father/daughter dance). Overall, a great experience, and the music and dancing was the highlight of our wedding day.

  Bluewater Kings were phenomenal. We didn't give much musical direction except to play songs that keep people on the dance floor and wow they did exactly that. Every song was one that was familiar, and they did a great job of going through the decades as they asked. So many of our guests complimented what a great band we had, and we had so much fun at our wedding. The rates can't be beat compared to other wedding bands, and Bluewater Kings is wildly talented. I would hire them again and again for events.

  Amazing!!!!!!!!

  Sooooooo fabulous to work with! Not only was the band outstanding but it was so easy, organized and great working with you! We felt so confident with every step of the process, which was important to us as this was our first wedding planned on both sides of the family. Every single guest commented on how amazing the band was. They were so so so nice, so professional, so good, and most of all so fun!

  Rocked the house!

  The Blue Water Kings were an absolute blast at our September 2021 wedding at the Morton Arboretum. The BWK provided the sound system for our outdoor ceremony, and performed live during our reception. The ceremony sound was perfect, and their playing during the reception was top notch. We opted for the six piece band, and it was perfect. They respected our request for minimal MCing, and kept everyone dancing with their amazing energy, great musicianship, and a well-planned set list. Our band contact, Molly, helped us understand the various packages and was extremely responsive to our questions. Before the wedding, Molly met with us to get our music preferences. We didn’t get to choose our set list specifically, but it was better that way—they know what makes an amazing set list better than we do, and we ended up with a fantastic mix of styles. The King’s music was one of the best parts of our wedding, and I can’t thank them enough for helping make our big day so special. People have continued to rave to us after the wedding about how awesome our band was. 10/10 would recommend!

  Best band ever

  WOAH!!!! Just WOAH!! Bluewater Kinds Band was amazing! From our ceremony, to cocktail hour, to our reception. They kept the dance floor going all night! We still get compliments about them and we have been told over and over again by our guests that this was the best reception music they have ever heard ! There wasn't one person in the room that didn't enjoy their performance, even my dad who has never danced a day in his life, was on the dance floor dancing...I'm pretty sure that's the biggest compliment EVER (he's a hard man to please!). From the moment we booked until the last song at our reception, our expectations were far exceeded!

  What a party!

  Obsessed with this band. They truly made my wedding the best day ever. The dance floor was packed the entire time they were on the stage. And the emcee service made everything go so smoothly! Thank you so much!
