  Best decision to hire them!!

  These guys were our first vendors hired after we secured our venue and we are SO HAPPY we had them. They are wonderful people and insanely talented musicians, and they are so chill, flexible and kind. Our first venue canceled on us 4 months from the wedding date, and they pivoted quickly and signed on for our new date and venue. They learned two new songs to play alongside two vocalist performances during our ceremony, and jammed out during cocktail hour before becoming our emcees and DJs for the reception. They even made it work when we had a last-minute rain plan go into action. My guests will not stop talking about how great the music was throughout the whole event. Tim and Anthony were nothing but a joy to work with. They are all good vibes and good music. I hope to make it to another of their gigs soon!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

  Tim was awesome to work with. He was super responsive to our ideas for songs and added some great recommendations. They sounded great on wedding day. Our guests raved about having live music during the ceremony and cocktail hour and about how good they sounded. We would highly recommend them!

  Boaté & Ajluni is the only Wedding duo you’ll need

  Boaté and Ajluni were simply incredible! They kept the party going with a great flow of classic tunes and recent hits, while also being incredibly flexible with all of my demands. The best part however, and what sets them apart from your typical DJs, is that they play acoustic guitar, which gave our wedding such an intimate feel and created the perfect background music for my wife and I to have a special moment and entrance to our wedding. There truly was nothing better than hearing them play as dinner began and the guitar music was a highlight for us. Look no further than Boaté a Ajluni for your wedding, as I truly believe they can hang with any DJ, but with the addition of acoustic guitar, they are unmatched in the space. Thank you so much Boaté and Ajluni for creating such an impeccable atmosphere for our wedding, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you both and my wife and I wish you both the best in your endeavors!

  Outstanding musicians

  We decided to hire the very best for our wedding music, and so glad we did. The Boate & Ajluni Duo handled prelude music, cocktail music at the reception, and even two hours of the best dancing music ever. We wanted to hold a very classy and fun party for our reception. They were the perfect match. The compliments about the music keep pouring in, well after the event! We were very pleased and highly recommend this extremely talented and versatile duo to everyone for their big event.

  Great live music for event

  We hired this amazing guitar duo to add some live music to a cocktail reception we hosted to celebrate our elopement. They played live acoustic guitar for the first few hours, and seamlessly transitioned to being DJs for the last hour. We really enjoyed being able to create our own playlist (I’m a bit of a music and vibes snob!) and having help with MC-ing speeches as well. Affordable, reliable, and a great option to add to any event!

  Tim and Anthony of the Boaté & Ajluni Duo were such a fantastic addition to our wedding day. With everything else going on that day, it was a relief to work with a vendor that could do everything on their own with little assistance. We received so many compliments from our friends and family on their performance and are so grateful for the music they played for our special day. For anybody looking to add that special touch on their special day, the Boaté & Ajluni Duo are a safe and reliable bet.

  Fantastic live music and DJ!

  Hiring Tim & Anthony was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding! We hired them to play live music during our ceremony & cocktail hour and then DJ the reception. Our guests absolutely raved about how much they loved the music! We had a very small wedding (14 guests) but they made the dance floor at our reception feel like the party & celebration that we wanted. The planning process was super easy and they were extremely responsive. I highly recommend booking them!!

  Romantic Personalized Live Music and DJs

  Live music at my wedding was something I had always dreamed of! This duo was one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding.
  Included in their package is that they will learn 2 songs to play for you on the guitar during the ceremony. I am a lover of old movies and songs, so I had my wedding party walk down to La Vie En Rose, which they already knew, and I walked down to Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's, which they learned for us. My Husband's favorite (wedding appropriate) song is Mystery of Love by Sufjan Stevens, which we used for our recessional. They knocked it out of the park!
  
  Having live guitar music at the cocktail hour was so nice. I got to enjoy so much of it. Instead of a first dance after dinner, we just had our first dances during cocktail hour to the live music. It was a sweet and less formal moment that I will always remember!
  
  They had asked me to share with them a spotify playlist of songs that I would like at my reception, but that was one of the details that just fell through the cracks for me. But it was fine, because they played great music all night long!
  
  We had a relatively informal reception, without grand entrances or announcements, but they were ready to arrange anything I needed.
  
  They were so nice to work with and very responsive over email. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a personal touch to their wedding music!!

  Pure Magic

  We got married in late October at Gramercy mansion. Between the gorgeous venue, perfect weather, and the rustle of the leaves in the wind Tim and Anthony and their guitars were truly the icing on the cake. Several of my guests described our ceremony as "fairytail perfect" between watching the leaves fall and listening to the beautiful melodies as my bridal party and I walked down the aisle. Part of me is a little jealous for not being in my guests' shoes and watching from their perspective. I will never forget the moment Tim and Anthony got just a few notes into the bridal processional and my Dad turned to me, trying not to cry, and said "Oh! I really like this song" right before we stared walking.
  I booked Tim and Anthony over a year and a half before our wedding and even though there were long periods of time between our correspondence I never felt like I was lost in the shuffle or just another wedding. I cant recommend Tim and Anthony enough. My wedding felt so special with them on our vendor team.

  Best Music to Walk Down the Aisle to!

  These guys are amazing. They were so easy to work with and have an excellent selection of music to listen to. They were professional and self sufficient, all we had to do was tell them where to be.

  11/10 - Could not love them more

  These guys are the real deal. So amazing and a crowd favorite. We had an intimate wedding and they only added to the intimacy with their artistry. Pure perfection! Do NOT hesitate to book. You will absolutely not regret it. One of our favorite parts of our day and something we will cherish forever!

  Magical Wedding in the Woods

  Can’t say enough about Tim and Anthony. We had a rather lowkey micro wedding at Patapsco and wanted to kick things up a notch with live entertainment. Everyone remarked on how great the music was and it really helped set the ambiance of our day. Very easy to communicate with and definitely took our feedback on fave musicians/genres in planning out their set list. My only regret is not having these guys as part of our ceremony! Highly recommend and hope to have another chance to work with them again.

Their guitar playing for the ceremony was breathtaking, and we got non-stop compliments about how perfect they sounded during cocktail hour. They are super flexible, adaptable, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!!!

  They were amazing, so cool to find a duo that not only can play accoustic, but also DJ your event. It was the perfect mix! Anthony and Tim arrived early, helped get things set in our multiple ceremony/reception locations - they were so kind and professional. They played accoustic guitar for our reception and cocktail hour, then flipped to dj our reception. Our guests LOVED the accousting cocktail hour and having them play when I walked down the aisle was so special. Would 10000X recommend for any event or wedding!

  Fantastic!

  Tim and Anthony were just incredible! We couldn't be happier with the quality of their live ceremony music and they killed it as DJs as well. Prompt, professional, and exactly the vibe we were looking for. Book them!

  Tim and Anthony were awesome! Organizing was so simple, we talked over our selections and they were so timely to respond. On the day of, they were totally on top of it and setup without me even thinking about it! They were even so willing to go out of their way to learn and play my parent’s wedding song which was so beautiful and meant so much to me. They added such a touch of elegance and intimacy to our ceremony that I am so thankful for.

  Amazing duo!

  We had Boate & Ajluni Duo at our wedding in North East, MD on May 14, 2021. They did such a wonderful job during our ceremony and cocktail hour. They arrived early and set up the sound for our ceremony and provided microphones for us to use. We were able to pick our own songs that they learned and played throughout our ceremony and it made it so special and personalized to us. We had postponed our wedding from April 2020 and they made every step of rescheduling easy and were there for us! I highly recommend them if you're looking for an acoustic duo for your wedding day. They are awesome!

  Boaté and Ajluni were the perfect addition to our wedding. They learned a song that was very important for us to have, and they were incredibly easy to work with. You will not regret having them at your event!

  Tim and Anthony were great!! They provided live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour and DJ services for our dinner/reception at the Peabody Library in Baltimore.
  
  We received SO many compliments from our guests about the live music! They flawlessly performed requested songs for our ceremony, and it was DREAMY.
  
  Tim and Anthony were extremely professional, easygoing, and easy to work with. Peabody has a good number of restrictions for vendors, and they adapted easily! Absolutely no complaints. Hire them and you won't be disappointed!!
