  Bob is a sweetheart and a character. Positives: fantastic price, knows difficult name pronunciations, plays sax, accommodating, follows your play list, makes you CD's and loves his job.
  Cons: made a music choice or two during dinner that didn't work, but seriously - who cares when everything else goes perfectly.
  
  My guests loved him. Dresses impeccably. Returns your calls. What more can you ask for?

  BOB IS AMAZING! With most vendors, you have to go to them to discuss pricing and vision. Bob was more than willing to drive to my home in central, MA to meet with us. He came in dressed in a suit and ready to do business. After that meeting, I knew I wanted him to be our DJ. During the months that followed, I did get a bit nervous because we never met with him again. He sent us his portfolio of music to go through and everything from then on was done through mail. In the end, I had nothing to worry about! He offered us a mix of DJ and band. He had all the music we wanted but he also added personal touches. He would play the sax to enrich some of the songs and during salads he sang "That's Amore," which everyone loved. Our guests still talk about how great Bob was and our dance floor was constantly filled, something you don't always see at a wedding.

  Bob was recommended to us by Harding Allen Estate. We are so happy we got to work with Bob for our big day. As noted, he does play the saxophone, which adds such a fun and unique touch. He is a great MC and was a pleasure to work with during the event and during the planning process. He really wants to ensure that your day, and your music, is exactly what you want it to be. Bob provided us with a microphone to use during the ceremony and accommodated all of our other requests as well. We would recommend Bob to anyone who is looking for a professional, energetic, and flexible DJ who will ensure you and your guests have a great time!

  Bob was recommended to us by the Harding Allen Estate, and we are so glad they did! He made the music something we didn't have to worry about. He did the music for our ceremony, and it transitioned smoothly between introductions. All songs were exactly what we were looking for. I was neurotic and sent him a long typed out list of an idea of what we would like and he followed our guidelines to a T, and even made discs of the music for the night for us to keep! Depending on the song he played the saxophone or sang along, and made the night even more memorable! My husband and I would recommend Bob to anyone. He is confident and easy going, very well priced and it was a peace of mind to work with Bob.

  DJ Bob is amazing! He plays the sax at cocktail hour and with the music at the reception to some songs. Got the party started and kept it going! We had a blast at our wedding- couldn't have asked for a better DJ! DJ Bob is the best!!!

  During our wedding planning at The Harding Allen Estate, Bob was recommended to us. He invited us into his own home for a meeting, where we met some members of his family, and instantly fell in love with his inviting, kind personality, treating us more like family than a potential client. His organizational skills, easy-going demeanor, professionalism before and on our beautiful wedding day, as well as his flexibility with accomodating our personal song selections and other needs, exceeded our expectations and gave us everything we could have hoped for. He greeted us, met with us a couple times during the reception, as well as left us with genuine, heartfelt wishes and respect. He made us feel important. Our wedding simply wouldn't have been the same without him. As others have mentioned, he brought his sax, and with it, added more charm to the evening than simply his personality. We would recommend him to anyone for their special day and if we need a DJ for anything in the future, he would, without a doubt, always be our first choice. With absolute sincerity, love and respect - thank you Bob!

  Bob Solano was the best! He kept the guests dancing and entertained for the entire reception. There was never a dull moment. We couldn't have had a better time. He was well-organized and had everything planned exactly as we discussed; very professional. I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect day. He even provided us with CDs, so our memories would last us a lifetime. If you're looking for an awesome time, then go with Bob. As an extra, he is quite the sax player, which our guests loved :)

  Bob was the DJ at our wedding at The Harding Allen Estate and he was great. He even played his saxophone a couple of times. I didn't pick any of the music for the reception, but gave him a very vague idea about what we liked. The music was perfect - everyone loved it and was up and dancing all night. He didn't play any cheesy wedding music - except for the "Cotton-Eyed Joe" - but only because I (the bride) requested it :)
  He really had a great sense for what the guests wanted and just went with it. I would highly recommend him.

  We used Bob for our wedding at the Harding Allen Estate. He was excellent. My family was on the dance floor all night because he could read the crowd. I emailed him a few times to add songs to my playlist last minute and he worked them into the day seamlessly. He was able to do out anniversary dance and made my aunt and uncle feel so special. I would highly recommend him for any event!!!

  As a wedding photographer, I get to know a lot of DJ's!! I loved Bob from the moment we met many years ago. He is so sweet and fun to be around and always has the dance floor full no matter the crowd's age range!! It's amazing! I had a lot of older guests, and Bob had them dancing until the last dance! One of the funniest memories was that 15 year old step-son was on the dance floor AND break dancing with a circle around him when he told me he would not be dancing at all! haha! Our kids even said after the wedding, "I did not know weddings could be that much fun." Thanks to Bob for keeping that party alive!!!!
  
  Bob also did our ceremony music and it turned out flawlessly. Bob made the song selections easy before the wedding and even asked us what we didn't want to hear. He even helped us decide on how to pull off certain formalities and such so that it all flowed perfectly.
  
  Bob gives 100% to every wedding, and I love how enthusiastic he always is about what he does. He does have fun, and it shows. It was so nice to have Bob there for our wedding day and my family really loved him! (My Aunt even asked if he was single! haha!)

He kept the dance floor packed all night and was really good at reading the crowd. All of our guests commented on how great the music selection was for the night. He serenaded my husband and I with "That's Amore" which started our reception off to a great start--everyone was laughing and singing along by the end of the song. He's got a great voice too! He also adds sax accompaniment to some songs, which was a nice touch. Bob made my husband and I specialized CDs with our special music from the night.   DJ Bob was terrific! We didn't want to enumerate the many songs on the Do Not Play List (...do you really have to say that you don't want the Chicken Dance? Have we not moved past this as a people?), but he made it so easy. First of all, my then-fiance explained that "we don't want any of the hokey stuff" and DJ Bob totally got what we meant by that. He then sent us a comprehensive list of popularly played songs for us to cross off or show we liked, which helped us remember lots of songs we might not have immediately thought of. He played a special dance for my parents' anniversary and serenaded my husband and I with "That's Amore" which was very cute. Many people commented on the great choice of music, and DJ Bob also adds sax accompaniment to some of the songs, which really adds a little something extra!

  Bob was an excellent DJ for our wedding at Tower Hill Gardens in Boylston. He played all the songs we requested, took only reasonable requests from our guests, and kept the dance floor packed all night long. He even played his saxophone along with some of the songs, it was very entertaining for both us and our guests.
