Our wedding was the most magical day of our lives, and thanks to Bogardus Photography, we have a beautiful video that allows us to relive those precious moments whenever we wish. We hired Nate as our wedding videographer after he contacted me after attending a local wedding expo. From the start, his professionalism shone through.
Nathan's exceptional communication skills ensured a smooth and straightforward experience. He was always prompt in responding to our inquiries, which made us feel valued and reassured. On the wedding day, Nate's presence was a calming force amidst the excitement. He arrived early, was well-prepared, and was ready to start filming. His reliability, promptness, and ability to solve problems on the fly were simply outstanding. Despite the wedding's hectic nature, Nathan made the filming process comfortable and stress-free for everyone involved.
When we received the final product, we were absolutely blown away. Nate managed to turn our vision into a reality, creating a wedding video that was both intimate and cinematic. I feel extraordinarily grateful that I happened to meet Nathan at a local wedding expo. In our first conversation I could tell that he was incredibly down to Earth and just the type of person that I would want to have involved on our special day. He and his assistant (Hamlin) were incredible to work with on our wedding day. He took all of the standard photos that we wanted and amazing candids as well. He's great at making you feel relaxed and like your true self to let that shine through in photos and isn't afraid to try some out of the box ideas. If you're looking for a photographer for your special day, I HIGHLY recommend Nathan. -

Highly Recommend
Nathan was the best choice for our photographer. My husband and I are very care-free and silly, and he fit our energy so perfectly. We wanted more candid shots of the wedding and reception than the standard poses, and he delivered above and beyond. He was so easy to talk to, and flexible with our requests before the wedding and on the day of the wedding.
I feel as though I am back at my wedding every time I go through our photos. I cannot recommend Nathan enough! -

Nathan was great to work with. He was always communicative prior to event. Met or emailed us multiple times to make sure we were all on the same page on photos for the day. Photos returned quickly and are amazing! Would highly recommend to any future couples! -

From the moment I met Nate at a wedding expo, his energy was incredibly genuine and welcoming. As a wedding DJ, I work with a ton of wedding photographers and really appreciate the great ones. Nate is truly one of the greats. Not only is his personality awesome, but his work is incredible. Since Nate and I have met, we have worked several events together. Every time I walk into a wedding and see Nate behind the camera, I instantly smile and know the day is going to be fun! As a vendor, it's important to me to enjoy the other vendors I work with. It makes the day better when the team vibes well. Nate is just so easy to vibe with that every time we come together, it's absolute magic!
If you're looking for a laid-back, super-talented photographer who is down-to-earth and authentic as heck, this is your guy. I recommend him to everyone I know...

Nathan and his team were simply amazing throughur 4 day wedding weekend. My husband and I met with Nathan to discuss our vision, expectations and also explain our cultural/religious background. Nathan listened intently and was respectful and extremely to our needs.
I requested a female photographer for one of the events (mehendi) and she was wonderful- so kind and courteous. She took a multitude of pictures during various cultural ceremonies.
We had a fairly large reception (400+ guests) at the Albany Capital Center. Our day started at 11a and went for 12 hours straight between getting ready, formal shoot of my husband and I, formal shoot of us with our families (huge families!), speeches, dinner, formal pics on stage (yes, we had a stage) and finally dancing! Nathan's team captured so many stunning photos of us, our family and friends. They were friendly and easy to work with!
Our portraitures turned out beautifully. We decided to stay in the downtown Albany area near our venue and of course it was drizzling during our shoot! However, Nathan and his team made it a fun and easy time to where I wasn't even thinking about the rain anymore. Shoutout to Hamlin!
We had an intimate brunch with just our family and out of town guests for our final day at Albany Institute of History and Art. Nathan took many candids of our family and friends for us, which I absolutely loved.
We did a quick 10 min formal shoot in one of the galleries and staircases, they were simple and elegant.
I can't say enough about Nathan's work ethic and his dedication to ensure his clients are beyond happy!
My sister is getting married this June, her and her fiance loved our pics! I'll be seeing Nathan and his team again in a few months! -

One of the best wedding decisions I made
Nathan and his team were the most wonderful photographers. I was really insistent that I wanted "real" wedding photos that weren't heavily edited, but beautiful on their own. That is exactly what I got.

I knew from the minute we spoke on the phone and you told me about your relationship and how deeply meaningful so many aspects of the day would be for each of you that your wedding was going to be special.
It was a sacred event with the beautiful and poetic vows you read each other - talking of bonfire-like passion as imagined in early youth recontextualized beside the maturity of an adult relationship; and all the symbolic beauty in the color orange, with its links to autumn, death, and renewal.
Then, we all got front row seats to the most epic throwback concert I've ever experienced at a wedding, from "All the Small Things" to "Proud Mary", when your friends took the stage and took us all up to 100% full rev.
It was truly memorable and meaningful and I am so glad you chose me to be there with you two! -

Nathan did such an amazing job capturing our wedding day, the pictures are perfection. We are able to see our wedding through his eyes and you can feel the emotions. There’s so much you miss during the day of your wedding and being able to have pictures to see everything that went on is amazing. He was so down to earth, professional and friendly, he fit right in with our family. We highly recommend him! -

We hired Nathan to photograph our outdoor wedding and loved working with him! He was responsive, personable, engaged and ticked all our boxes as a wedding photographer. Nathan was: flexible, relaxed, reasonably priced, and encouraged us to "drive the bus" and experiment with different shots throughout the wedding. He was also responsive to our requests and critiques during and after the wedding.
The wedding had a casual vibe which Nathan understood and contributed to with his calm, warm demeanor. He helped us took formal wedding and family photos and captured some great candids throughout the event. The weather was overcast and rainy which made for some beautiful light in the photos. Nathan also thoughtfully brought clear umbrellas for guests in case they were needed! He was fantastic at problem solving on the spot with any issues that came up.
We would recommend Nathan to any couple that is looking for an affordable and flexible photographer. He can be as formal or candid as you want - and is an absolute pleasure to work with. -

We were so happy to have Nathan as our photographer. He was just great to work with and made the process very easy. Nathan is very personable and we felt comfortable when we met him for the first time. He gave us a good mix of formal and candid photos. Nathan captured so many moments that we missed between family and friends and its so wonderful to be able to go back and look at the pictures.
