  My dream wedding came true

  The Boise Depot was the perfect venue for our wedding. The bridal suite was gorgeous and the great hall was breathtaking will all the colors and wedding decorations we had. Everyone told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to and not gonna lie, I think they really meant it. Meliza at the city was so pleasant to work with and really helped us our with the process for everything from filling out the applications, to answering our questions, and guiding us through the whole experience. It was everything I could have ever wished for

  Meliza was a breeze to work with and the venue was perfect, especially for our out of town guests! I recommend renting the bell tower if you can, our guests LOVED it!!!

  This was a great place to have my wedding! Love the architecture and it really shows off how amazing Boise is. I think the only downside is that you cannot close the park on the other side. We had no idea that our wedding day was also a local high school's homecoming. Because of this, we had swarms of people in all of our ceremony pictures. Plus, we had to push them off the vantage points to take photos. We even closed the road down, but this didn't stop people from driving through.

  We used the Boise Train Depot as both our ceremony and reception venue. We got married outside on the patio, and had our reception inside. The Train Depot is a gorgeous venue. The architecture (inside & out) is stunning. Our guests loved walking around the gardens outside, looking at the historic relics inside. It is such a beautiful venue, you can keep the decor simple and still have a classic wedding.
  They do nickel and dime your for everything. You rent the outside, inside and bell tower completely separately. They also do not provide any items - so you will have to rent your tables, chairs, linens, etc. They also have a lot of regulations on what you can or can't do in the venue.

  My wedding at the Depot turned out absolutely perfect! The staff was extremely responsible and helpful. There are a couple of downfalls - the property is public so you may have to shoo away high school/college students for photos and no open flame is allowed so sparkler exits are out of the question. However, everything turned out amazing and it didn’t end up being an issue in the end. This is a one of a kind wedding venue and was just perfect for my small wedding (but would be equally great for a large wedding given the ample amount of space)!
