  I grew up in Northern NY but now live in another state, but there was no doubt in my mind that Boldt Castle had to be my wedding venue! The gorgeous Thousand Islands and a romantic castle, I couldn't ask for a more romantic setting! The staff was fantastic throughout the whole process, from our initial meeting through the entire wedding day. It rained the entire day (everyone kept telling us it was good luck!) and the staff was super accommodating, moving the chairs to the patio and making sure we had everything we needed. Our officiant was concerned about where to sign the marriage license since it was raining, and the staff made sure he had a nice, quiet place to complete our paperwork. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, and despite the rain, we still took advantage of the entire island for pictures. I was worried about tourists interrupting the ceremony, but the staff did a great job keeping us in a private area until we were done, and having all of the other visitors taking pictures of us and wishing us congratulations was actually really fun! It meant a lot to get married in the area where I grew up, and the staff and venue just made it an absolutely magical day. My husband and I can't wait to go back every year to celebrate and relive the fantastic day!!

  Boldt Castle-- WOW. First of all, I planned this wedding in Thousand Islands remotely and never visited until the day before my wedding. The pictures were beautiful, but the site truly exceeded all expectations! Its a fairy-tale. Nate Sourwine at the Boldt Castle -- Thousand Island Bridge Authority -- made planning a breeze. He offered flexible payment option, helped us to our free rehearsal, his staff helped with the ceremony procession and warding off tourists from our site, and even put out some last minute fires with payment, so as to not impose on our special day. I would highly recommend this venue for a magical day! (And if I can say so for a steal!)

  A BEAUTIFUL venue for a romantic, memorable, fairy tale wedding! Everyone was extremely helpful, and responded promptly with any correspondence. The scenery is picture perfect, and photographers have a field day! Our photos turned out phenomenally! The bridal suite where the bride and bridesmaids finish their last touches preparing for the ceremony and the decent down the castle’s stairway is very cute, and it really gives the bride that magical feeling that you are a princess. If you love the Thousand Islands region, and are looking for a perfect venue for a wedding your guests will NEVER forget, book your wedding at Boldt Castle!
