  Delicious food for our wedding!

  Naveed, Rajesh, and the team from Bombay Tandoor were wonderful to work with for catering for our wedding. They were extremely professional and had a lot of experience working at our venue so we didn’t have to get involved at all in their coordination with the venue.
  
  Importantly, the food was absolutely delicious! We got tons of compliments on how wonderful the food was at our wedding, and we ourselves really enjoyed the food on the wedding weekend! We had a tasting at their lovely restaurant a few months before the wedding and had the chance to taste our initial selections. Naveed was also generous enough to let our parents visit separately for a tasting as well so they could help us to select the final menu.
  
  It was truly a pleasure to work with Bombay Tandoor for catering our wedding and we would highly recommend them for anyone doing a wedding in the DMV!

  Best Indian Caterer in DMV!

  For catering & in-person dining- 5 STARS! We have eaten at the restaurant multiple times and been to events catered by them- always the best food! We love them so much, we immediately knew we wanted them to cater our wedding as well.
  
  Working with Naveed, Rajesh, and the entire Bombay Tandoor team was as incredible as their food tasted! Every single guest commented on how amazing their food was and many (including us!) have made plans to return to the restaurant itself for more. We chose catering all the way from Bombay Tandoor in VA to Havre De Grace, MD not only because of their food but also because of their team. For our events, Naveed went above and beyond to accommodate our food tasting, make changes to our menu and work with us on various event details making us feel like we were working with a family friend rather than a caterer. Naveed was also great at ensuring our service company knew what to expect and worked to ensure they were prepared to serve the BT items. For our walk through and days of the events, Rajesh (on site lead) worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect. He made sure the food was hot, presented beautifully and tasted as if the restaurant was onsite. He brought a huge team with him who were extremely professional and efficient especially considering the size of our venue. We will 100% be working with Bombay Tandoor again in the future and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone looking for amazing Indian (and fusion!) catering in the DMV.

  I can't say enough good things about Bombay Tandoor - my friends and family RAVED about the food for weeks after my wedding. First, Bombay Tandoor is one of very few Indian caterers that is willing to do correspondence and contracts over email. Many others requested that I come in multiple times, but Varun was very professional and extremely responsive to my many questions/requests via email. He also visited the venue twice, as he had never catered there before, to make sure he knew the ins and outs and that everything was perfect for the day. On the day of, the food was not only ready early but SO DELICIOUS (especially the Spinach Chaat) that my guests kept asking me to give them the name of the restaurant so they could visit on their own. Don't hesitate to hire them!

  Our families have used Bombay Tandoor for multiple family events and for our Wedding Reception at the Westfields Marriott Sept 2016, even though we looked at several caterers, we came back to Bombay Tandoor and met with Varun and Naveed to plan out our menu way back in January 2016. Both were very helpful in making suggestions, with a tasting as well as meeting with the chef and we came up with a list of appetizers (including their famous tandoori lamb chops) and main courses, veg & non-veg. Varun became our primary contact and as the event came closer and we met either at the restaurant or Hotel, he would always ensure we were well fed. We worked with the hotel directly and came up with a plan with appetizers and buffet stations that had no issue with lines and their staff were quick to pass around appetizers to guests. The food quality and quantity were more than sufficient and Varun kept telling us not to worry. He was right and personally came the night of the big event to check-in and ensure everything was on time. His staff ensured that left over appetizers made their way to the after-party suite. We did add on a couple of desserts at the very end and they were very flexible in providing. Also given the dance performances, we had to tweak opening time for the buffet and again no issue. Everything was warm and delicious. Kudos to Bombay Tandoor and especially Varun for ensuring our guests were very satisfied with the food. Varun was excellent throughout this entire process and I would highly recommend both Bombay Tandoor and Varun for your event.

  We recently held a large event at Bombay Tandoor as part of our wedding earlier this month. In addition to hosting the space of our event, they provided wide assortments of their delectable Indian cuisine, as well as the use of their massive bar space. Not only was their food flavor-packed and savory to the level of 5+ Stars, the ambiance of their space was also both elegant and contemporary, which really complemented the entire experience.
  
  The bar was both fully stocked with ample liquors, beer, and wine, and equipped with an impressive team of bartenders who stayed efficient, professional, and very friendly throughout the entire evening. The staff offered a level of service that was beyond superb and hard-working from beginning to end (taking care of 120+ guests for 4 hours).
  
  They also easily accommodated several other aspects of our event, including the DJ and all his equipment, custom entertainment vendors and performances, and decor placement. Their staff worked seamlessly with our other vendors and did a stellar job. We will definitely be going through them again, as they offered the perfect and rare mix of exceptional food, service, and ambiance. A+ all the way!

  Bombay Tandoor catered my wedding of 250 people - the food was awesome! Everyone commented on how good it was all night! They were very responsive by email and when we visited the restaurant many times in person. The food was plentiful and hot all night long!

  We used them for our wedding at the Waterfront Marriott. 366 guest and they provided us with great service. The food was amazing and so was the service. Our family, friends and guest could not stop talking about everything. They can provide anything you ask for at a great price.

  We catered vegetarian food due to grooms choice and to respect the environment of holding the wedding in the Washington Kali Temple, Burtonsville, MD and non-veg lovers also enjoyed the food so-much that they did not even felt that there was no non-veg item. It was phenomenal. Service and presentation with the quality of food was beyond compare.

  The best food in the Washington DC area!! I had my engagement party at Bombay Tandoor in the middle of a hurricane and the event ran so smoothly. You wouldn't have known the crazy rain outside because the decor and food have you enjoying all night. I ended up using them for my wedding catering as well. They have so much verity and the flavours are so authentic. They customize your menu and kick it up with creativity.

  The food was fantastic at our reception. Get a tandoor on site if possible. I believe that makes a big difference in kabob and bread taste. Every one loved the food. We had a large menu. The goat curry and the chicken kabobs were big hits. The tawa vegetables for the vegetarians also was very good. They provided a very spicy pickle to spice up the food.

Also, my dad got nervous a few days before the wedding and called, and they were SO polite and reassured him that things would be great...and they were. Everything was hot, on time, and nothing ran out. I think this restaurant is a gem that is often missed in the Indian food vendor wedding market for some reason.
  
  NOTE: do not judge the event food based on their buffet during the week. Ask for a real tasting from them.

  Bombay Tandoor has been catering family events and weddings for years because they are the best caterers for Indian food in the DC area. Their food is superb and our guests were raving about it a month after the wedding. In addition, the value of what you get from Bombay Tandoor is unbeatable. Economical and Excellent food. A combination that can't be beat.
