Bonanventura Vineyards was the perfect location for our September wedding. We toured the facilities in the winter, but still knew it would be a perfect location. Jen and Chad are wonderful owners and incredibly easy to work with. They recently bought the venue and are managing the wedding business and a brand new winery business.
Jen allowed us to tour the facility multiple times and provided plenty of tips along the way. The Vineyard allows for multiple ceremony areas and the barn was perfect for our reception. We opted to hold our ceremony in front of the vineyards, with the lake behind us. The barn allowed for us to easily seat 80 and provide room for catering, dessert, dance floor, bar space, and traffic flow. We were able to utilize all that they provided, which removed the stress from so many details. The venue included plates/glasses/utensils, farm tables, and countless decorations.
On the day of the wedding Jen and Chad managed traffic, answered questions, raked the lawn, and everything in between. There were zero concerns about the venue, from start to finish. If you're looking for a rustic and charming wedding location, this is the spot for you. We can't wait to visit again and try their wine.
Seriously, this venue is a no brainer and we couldn't be more thankful!

We were blessed with meeting Jen & Chad and having our wedding day held at Bonaventura Vineyards. From top to bottom, everything was perfect. We enjoyed the personal touch that Bonaventura put on our special day - the rustic tables and dinnerware, the availability of our hosts, and the well-maintained, beautiful vineyard and barn. It is as gorgeous a place to hold a wedding and have photos done as there is in Maine. -

Bonaventura Vineyards was the perfect place to for us to get married. Our ceremony took place in front of the ripening grape vines of the vineyard, looking over the quintessential New England scenery offered by Little Bear Pond. There was plenty of outdoor space for mingling and lawn games. The barn was stunning and I watched as it transformed into a scene from a fairytale with warm lighting and a cozy atmosphere. Jen and Chad, the owners, were amazing to work with. Chad was the man behind the scenes, making farm tables, cupcake stands, and benches for the ceremony. Jen helped with with my every bridal need. She answered my thousand questions with a smile. She's very knowledgeable and what she doesn't know, she quickly finds out and responds to you promptly. She was also my sounding board for decoration ideas and tricky seating arrangements. Jen and Chad were extremely accommodating and did their absolute best to meet all of our needs. Fall Wedding Fairytale
From the very first visit at the barn, to “day of” finishing touches Jen and Chad went above and beyond helping to make our dream day come true. The vineyard over looking the pond was the perfect landscape for beautiful pictures and the barn itself was accommodating for tables/chairs, a dance floor and ample space for bar service and catering. This venue is so versatile, you truly can make your dream day come to life. If I could go back and re-plan my wedding, I’d choose Bonaventura Vineyards one hundred times over!Bonaventura Vineyards's reply:
