We had our wedding here.

This is phenomenally long overdue (wedding was last March), but I guess it’s coming in under a year, so there’s that.
David and Bonnet House were phenomenally helpful and wonderful.

We looked at a number of locations around the Miami area (and visited/considered some for a summer wedding in the Hudson valley), and The Bonnet House had everything we were looking for.
I’m gonna jump past how pretty it is (IT’S AMAZINGLY PRETTY) except to say that you don’t need to spend as much on flowers given the overwhelming number of flowers/nature that already exists on the grounds. Oh, also, there’s a timelessness to it. Also also, the artwork makes it a little weird in the absolute best way.

Bonnet House's service was exceptional.
Before the wedding: They were great at coordinating with other vendors. Walking through everything was easy and David was amazingly warm while still not wasting words (just a great individual to work with).
During the wedding: The guides were phenomenal at getting guests to the ceremony area and back to the parking lot or other entrances at the end of the night. Also, they were very accomadating at leaving a car overnight, and allowing things to be picked up the next day.

I can’t endorse Bonnet House enough - all three segments of the night (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) were perfect spaces for their purposes, and the staff at the Bonnet House continued with wonderful service. A special shoutout to David - he was really great to work with.


P.S. For reference, we live in NYC, so we had to make 2 trips down for [looking at venues] and [running through checklists about a month before], and then we also did a walkthrough on Friday before the Saturday wedding. Our wedding was 123 people, and I think Bonnet can easily hold 150 (maybe more if needed). The only rain concern would be the ceremony, but if it had to have been on the dance floor it would have still been great (it didn’t look like it was gonna rain so we didn’t get a tent (and luckily didn’t need one)).

Couldn’t have asked for a better venue, it was dreamy beautiful and the staff was amazing. Got so many compliments and wouldn’t have changed a thing!

This place is such a hidden gem. There are no other venues like it. Our guests loved how beautiful and quirky the space was! The team at the Bonnet House is so lovely and friendly and made our day so special and run so smoothly.

Oh Bonnet House, how we love you! Most stunning venue!

Let me start by saying I definitely researched and visited more venues than 99% of brides.
When I first researched I thought their pricing felt high but in retrospect it was 100% worth it because you are essentially getting multiple spaces/venues in one. Guests experience the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in three different but equally stunning areas and that was a very memorable thing for a lot of our family. Also let’s not mention the most beauuuutiful tropical looking photo areas for your portraits and first look. I can’t praise this place enough.

David, Diana and their team of volunteers were a dream to work with and so patient with our many questions and visits. Choosing Bonnet House is what made our wedding as memorable and wonderful as it was, and I LOVE that we could go back to celebrate future anniversaries there since it’s a museum that we can always visit.

The rain can be stressful with an outdoor wedding ceremony but there are tenting options and for us the payoff of this stunning venue was worth it. We can’t stop singing their praises.

Bonnet House is the most gorgeous venue in all of Fort Lauderdale. Truly spectacular. We had our wedding there three weekends ago and everything was perfect, including the photos! David, Bonnet's events manager, is incredible and very easy to work with. We planned a destination wedding and it was so nice to have David in our corner helping with vendor recommendations and timelines.

My husband and I both grew up in Massachusetts and met in Florida. We always figured we would get married in New England so when we got engaged we decided to do a wedding venue tour at home in Florida beforehand so we knew what to expect. The Bonnet House ended up being the only venue we toured because we both fell in love with it and booked the next day. Nothing can compare to the natural beauty and history there. Our wedding pictures are amazing and all our our guests, mostly from up north, were blown away by the beauty of the Bonnet House. We could not have chosen a more perfect place. David, Debbie, and all of the volunteers were so easy to work with. They answered all of our questions and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our wedding was perfect and now the Bonnet House will always hold a special place in our hearts.

I cannot overstate how incredible this place is. Our wedding day was absolutely stunning and so much of that is attributable to the bonnet house and their amazing staff. All of our guests were blown away by the beauty and uniqueness of this venue, and our pictures came out so unique and beautiful. This was truly a unique, out of the ordinary venue with amazing service and just stunning backdrops.

Because of Irma, we had do relocate our wedding from the Keys in only 5 weeks. When we visited Bonnet House, we fell in love immediately!! Not only are the 35 acres of museum and gardens breathtaking and whimsical but there is so much history! David the event coordinator was unbelievably accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. I couldn't imagine having my wedding anywhere else, it was an incredible experience and the best day of my life!

My husband and I had one of our first dates at the Bonnet House. As soon as we got engaged we knew that's where we wanted our wedding. And from the very beginning, Nicholle was the most helpful and accommodating person to work with. She helped us with every single detail, making sure our day would be everything we wanted it to be. And the staff is out of this world! It really felt like a dream. Like a party that would have been throw at that house back when the original owners lived there. Everything was absolutely perfect and all of our guests are still talking about it. Plus, we were so happy to get to share this space with all of our friends and family. We've been in love with the Bonnet House, but we know so many people who live here and have never even been! It's one of the most magical places in Florida. Having a wedding here is unlike any wedding you've ever been to.

Our wedding ceremony and reception was at Bonnet House a few weeks ago, and it was hands down our dream wedding venue. We worked with Nicholle to plan the wedding along with our coordinator and she was so easy to work with. Most things went smoothly (things that did not run smooth were not the fault of the Bonnet House) from the ceremony through cocktail hour and reception. All of my guests thought the property was absolutely gorgeous and I think we created new fans from some of our first-timers of the property.

Perfect venue in South Florida with some old Fort Lauderdale charm close to the beach, Las Olas, Galleria Mall, and other great places around the area. If you are considering having your wedding at Bonnet House, look no further!

We knew the moment we first set foot at the Bonnet House that it was the perfect place to have our wedding. The history and art that support this venue is amazing and the natural beauty that surrounds it is breathtaking. We felt a sense of peace and serenity that we wanted all of our guests to experience as well. When we were able to finally meet with the event coordinator, Nicholle Maudlin, it solidified that we made the right choice. Nicholle was always a joy to talk to and eager to work with us making sure that all our questions were answered and needs met from the beginning to the end of the entire planning process. When our wedding day finally arrived, we were able to sit back and just enjoy every moment assured that Nicholle and her phenomenal staff had everything under control. Even when a couple of minor situations presented themselves, Nicholle informed us what was happening and how they planned to resolve it. I appreciated her calm and positive approach and the fact that she checked in with us to make sure all was being done with our approval. Our guests are still talking about how this was the most beautiful, intimate and amazing wedding that they have ever attended. While we deeply appreciate their sentiments, we know that none of it could have happened without Nicholle and the incredible Bonnet House volunteers and staff. We cannot wait for our next visit to the Bonnet House as guests and as husband and wife...

An amazing place to get married! All my guests were very impressed by the venue, absolutely beautiful!

I dreamed of a garden, vintage wedding and the Bonnet House was the perfect place!! It was more than I ever dreamed, all of my guests are still talking about the beauty and uniqueness of this Museum & Garden ! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The event coordinator was extremely professional and reliable throughout the planning process, and of course, on the big day.
Oh, and the Bridal Suite! Such a beautiful corner to spend the last hours of single life with your bridal party!! Those couple of hours before walking down the isle are such a rush of emotions and my Bridal Assistant was really sweet and helpful delivering last minute details and messages.
The Bonnet House is such a romantic, breathtaking venue, all of my pictures came out perfect! A lot of my guests took pictures that made it all the way to their social media profiles as background photographs!

The venue is absolutely breathtaking! We got married in the courtyard of the house. Nicholle was absolutely fabulous to work with. She responded quickly and went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. She conducted our rehearsal as well and it was quick, and it made the ceremony run smoothly. Highly recommended, wish I could relive that day all over again

We had our wedding at the Bonnet House a couple of weekends ago, and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing. Nicholle was great and easy to work with, and everything went more smoothly than I ever could have imagined. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding venue in Ft. Lauderdale, I would highly recommend the Bonnet House.

The Bonnet house is absolutely magical. Such a unique setting near downtown Fort Lauderdale. The staff there is amazing and bend over backwards through out the entire process.

The minute we visited Bonnet House, we knew this was the venue where we wanted to get married. The location is drop dead beautiful. You have the casual, tropical feel from the giant trees and landscaping (and ocean across the street) yet the history and sophistication that comes with the house and the property. The ceremony site is just magical and the reception overlooking the pond with the swans couldn't be more romantic.
Nicholle is a delight to work with and you'll find you won't need to pay extra for a wedding planner (as long as you find a good caterer). Additionally, you won't be breaking the bank for the venue, unlike what you'll find at some of South Florida's other premiere wedding venues.

First of all, let me just start off by saying that the bonnet house is one of the most beautiful places in Fort Lauderdale. It is steeped in history from the 1920's, it feels very old Florida and it is naturally gorgeous with all of the orchids and lush greenery. I am SO glad I had my ceremony and reception here because everything turned out perfectly. Nicholle, the event coordinator, is an absolute delight to work with and really made sure that my vision and desires were executed before the wedding and the day of. She and her team of volunteers really worked hard to make sure I had a perfect day. She was flexible, professional, easy to work with and totally reliable. I cannot say enough good things about the Bonnet house and can't wait to see how my pictures turned out. Thank you Nicholle & company for a perfect wedding day!!!

Bonnet house is beautiful and a wonderful place for a wedding! We absolutely loved working with Nicholle and highly recommend her! She made everything easy, stress-free and fun. She was accommodating, professional, organized and a helpful guide through the entire process!
