Boston Latin DJs really helped make our wedding memorable. Our families come from two very different backgrounds, but Luis and DJ Willie created a playlist that brought something for everyone and kept the entire wedding dancing until the very last song! We requested they do a quick tutorial on basic bachata and merengue steps to give everyone the opportunity to join in and break the ice. People were talking about how much fun that was weeks after the fact! We just got our professional photos back today, and one of our favorite things was to see the two families dancing and celebrating all together. Boston Latin DJs really came through for us and delivered everything we asked of them and more! -

Luis and Willie from Boston Latin DJs were a huge highlight for our wedding. They did a fantastic job keeping our guests dancing all night - many people told us it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding because of the great music and party atmosphere! It was important for us to incorporate both of our cultures in our wedding, and Luis was able seamlessly switch between English and Spanish while making announcements and getting everyone involved in the celebration. Willie was an awesome DJ - there was never a down moment on the dance floor. He also made us a custom mix for our first dance so that we could surprise our guests by switching to salsa halfway through. The customer service was top notch, and we felt super comfortable and confident that the event would go well from all of the useful detailed planning that they provided. I would highly recommend Boston Latin DJs! -

Since our first inquiry in late January Luis & Willie maintained the highest professional standards while making us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the entire planning process. They quickly contacted us via phone to go over the basics before moving forward with our partnership. Throughout the process they moved the planning process along via email and visited us in person several times to have in depth planning sessions. Initially we were a bit shy as far as how involved we’d be when it came to couple/family dances went but they respectfully urged us to consider incorporating them to make it a more memorable event and we’re so glad we did. In the final days of planning they incorporated some last minute changes/requests with total understanding and we we were thrilled to hear many of the selections on the day of the event. The event itself went without a hitch. Besides the DJ’ing duties Luis and Willie went above and beyond MC’ing the event, coordinating the introduction of the wedding party, table calling for dinner, and handing out party props (just to name a few ways they made the night extra special). The night flew by and our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to celebrate. All of our guests had a wonderful time and one guest even asked for contact info for a future event, and we would not hesitate at all to recommend them to others (especially bilingual couples). Since we hired the DJ they kept in touch regularly, we met in person and discussed all the details including music that I wanted to surprise my father with (the wedding was very emotional by the way, the DJ made my dream come true in that aspect). We filled out the form regarding the order in which the event will take place. We sent a play list for every segment of the event as requested in the form. The day of the wedding maybe 10 of these songs were played. The ones played were not all in the interpreters we requested. The wedding march and the waltz for our first dance were cut or stopped abruptly instead of turning the volume down to make it sound it was coming to an end (I know accident happen too). Guests complaint about the music choices made by DJ and the volume in general stating it was too low. Out of respect for my guests ages and religions I chose music that was appropriate for everyone and emphasized NO urban music at all. Almost at the end of the wedding some urban music was played. I asked the DJ to let any of the younger guest know that kind of request were not negotiable. About the DJ as a person, he is VERY approachable, friendly, showed up on time and treated everyone in a respectful manner. I don't know if something happened that day that kept him from putting together the play list. Bottom line--- It was nice working with him, would hire him again and I still believe he did his best. I saw he worked in surprising my dad in a very special way. Seeing happy tears in papis' eyes made my day. Thanks DJ Zeke. -

I wish I had done more research. My husband is from El Salvador and wanted a DJ that could represent his culture and play music our guests would enjoy. I should have gotten the hint that every meeting we had, they always tried to cancel or move within the hour of the meeting. Also the unprofessionalism of always texting me off things and bitmojis. Anyways, they have you fill out this planner about what you want and how you want it done. Totally understand the point of the planner. The part I don’t understand is that it wasn’t followed. Thing we’re done out of order, like introducing my husband and I into the reception in the wrong order because MC felt like it to make a joke, rather than in the right order which we planned. They called our bridal party the wrong names numerous times and WORST OF ALL, they introduce myself, the BRIDE, for the first dance as my sisters name. This happened not once, BUT TWICE. During our first dance they thought it was appropriate to make jokes on the mic rather than let us have our moment. We made a playlist of songs we wanted played, they said this was fine, then proceeded to not use my playlist, very few songs were played from our playlist. All of the songs we put on there for my husbands culture were ignored. It was truly a nightmare. I reached out to the head of the company, who apologized after we discussed how much money we paid. They said they’d send out the feedback form. Nothing received. We also reached out to the two DJs we had about our disappointment and we were ignored completely. Take this and do more research like I wish I had done.
