    Dream Team

    My husband and I truly can't thank Jennifer enough for the amazing job she did coordinating our wedding! We hired Jennifer towards the mid-end of our planning process and it was the best decision we made. We had already planned a lot of our wedding and had all these amazing designs in place but still needed help tying it all together on top of needing event management for the day of. Jennifer came in about 5-6 months before the wedding and totally took over by communicating with vendors, helping us tie together our entire design, and we also got to add in some extra rentals and decor that we hadn't thought of in the beginning. She also came up with our layout for the ballroom, one we had never seen done before and so unique, which we absolutely loved. It's safe to say, there were a ton of moving parts and Jennifer absolutely killed it by perfectly coordinating and managing it all. She was extremely detail oriented, which is exactly what we were looking for. She was also professional, very responsive, and extremely kind through out the entire process. Because of her, my husband and I were able to fully enjoy our special day and didn't have to worry about anything at all. We highly recommend hiring Jennifer for your wedding day, it was truly the best day of our lives thus far and Jennifer played a huge role in making that happen!

    Perfect in every way

    Jennifer and her team did an amazing job with our wedding. She was very detail oriented and her design was spot on for what we wanted. We were most impressed by her ability to get the whole wedding planned so that come day of we were just able to enjoy the day! Highly recommend Jennifer for your wedding planning

    Hiring Jennifer was one of our best decisions! She is nice, professional, insightful and very organized. I think our wedding day was perfect!

    I wasn't sure if I needed a planner, but really glad we got Jennifer's help! You think that wedding planning is all fun and games, but boy is it a lot of work! I hired Jennifer as our Day of Coordinator after speaking to her on the phone. She is very knowledgeable and has lots of tips for making the wedding day beautiful and run smoothly. She’s worked with many of the wedding vendors in the Tampa Bay Area and was able to give her recommendations based on the vibe of the wedding. She also has discounts with some of the vendors.

    She offers a wedding planning app, that she is able to access - that helps with budget, guests list, visual boards, vendors, etc. This tool was really helpful throughout and kept us on track with payments and timeline.

    As I said earlier, our wedding day was perfect. Jennifer connected with all the vendors and gave them all the timeline of the events. One of the trickiest parts of our wedding is that we had our ceremony and reception in the same venue, so that involved a room flip. She made this look effortless. One of her main things is that she wants everyone to enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about anything else. She is amazing!

    It was such a pleasure to have Jennifer as our wedding planner. We moved out of state prior to the wedding and she took care of so much behind the scenes and on the wedding day. She essentially was responsible for the wonderful outcome due to her knowledge, contacts and time spent planning the big and little details. Absolutely recommend!!

    Would definitely recommend!

    Jennifer with Bourbon and Blush events was such a pleasure to work with! She made our wedding planning process such a breeze. She has established relationships with EXCELLENT vendors, which saved me a lot of time not having to find my own. She was attentive and her attention to detail made our wedding day as beautiful as I imagined it would be in mind. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for help planning their wedding or event!

    There aren't words to sufficiently describe how amazing a job Jennifer did for our wedding; none of it would have been possible (not to mention enjoyable!) without her. I am definitely a type A personality and have a hard time relinquishing control to anyone else, but I have to say she is the only one I could entrust with all tasks related to our wedding day and I was fully confident knowing she had everything (and everyone!) totally handled. From the first day I met with her, I literally went from crying the night before, to smiling ear to ear by the time my fiance arrived at the meeting. Even he said, "I don't know what happened in there, but she's worth her weight in gold just to have this stress off your shoulders!"
    We had the most exquisite wedding at the Salvador Dali museum, but had to bring in every single vendor, which involved a LOT of moving parts. On top of that, Jennifer helped come up with the design concept for what ended up being a highly stylized wedding, so there were a zillion details to keep track of...and she did it for me so I was able to enjoy it. Every time I sent her an email or a text questioning if something had been done she was already two steps ahead of me. I can't tell you what a relief that was and how much confidence in gave me to relinquish that stress to someone else so I could enjoy the process.
    She was invaluable in her recommendations for vendors, and that she already had established relationships with top-of-the-line people made me feel so much better. It made everything SO easy!!! Even the few hiccups we did run into, Jennifer tried to handle them and/or come up with solutions before she ever came to me about them in order to minimize my stress!
    I can't recommend Jennifer highly enough for any and all planning services. She was priceless to me. She not only helped me design and plan the wedding of my dreams...she was the reason I could enjoy it. Thank you Jennifer!!!

    Jennifer was an absolute pleasure to work with! She took on the daunting challenge of accepting us as clients just 6 months before our wedding. For starters, she picked up all the (poorly planned) pieces she inherited from our original wedding planner, who didn't work out! Beyond that, she managed our vendor relationships so flawlessly and seamlessly that our time was spent handling only the absolute necessary things like contracts and key decisions. She took all of the guesswork out, the back-and-forth, the stages of negotiating, and struggles of uncertainties ... and managed to streamline communication for us, all while keeping us on track!! With our crazy work and personal schedules ... i don't know how we could have managed it all, had it not been for Jennifer.

    We had a final guest count of about 220 (i think! haha that's the beauty of working with Jennifer. we let her handle all the specifics.) Her attention to detail and her constant concern for the big picture of managing the logistics and creating efficiencies was INVALUABLE! With a large wedding at the Rialto Theatre (ceremony AND reception) logistics was key! As a blank slate venue, we had to hire a ton of vendors and details ... the need for flawless execution to handle setup, coordination, and of course FLIPPING THE ROOM in one hour flat ... was nothing shy of a wedding planning miracle!

    I was most pleased with how she became our one point of contact. It was so comforting to have that one person who could keep track of everything, keep us on schedule, and answer inquiries from vendors or meet with them to do walk-throughs, or even just brainstorm logistics. Having that resource allowed us to enjoy the planning stages, and more importantly, the wedding day ... because our focus was where it should be: celebrating our wedding!

    Everything was amazing! It was so nice to have Jennifer in our corner. I highly recommend her!!

    We had our wedding out of state and Jennifer was always very professional and diligent! She was quick to answer questions and return emails and phone calls. It was such a beautiful wedding day and all of the vendors she recommended were professional and did such an outstanding job! I highly recommend this vendor for and of your event planning needs!

    Thankful for the Help

    The wedding was gorgeous, my husband and I had so much fun and we left the event feeling as if nothing could have gone more right.

    Jennifer and I had a conversation after the wedding had been over for a week or so, following a negative review I had made that is now removed. We talked about how some comments from her don’t always land quite right and that she can be a little intense and direct sometimes but those are also the skills that lend her to be good at what she does. Bourbon and Blush had gone above and beyond to provide service not quite defined in our contract, which was appreciated and helpful. Certain things were clunky about the planning process but we did get there and the day went off without a hitch.

    Rosie, who works with Jennifer, was the most warm and kind person and I was thankful to have her nearby during the entire event.
    If you are considering hiring Jennifer and Bourbon and Blush, know that she will pour her whole heart into the process and do whatever it takes to make you feel like the event is in good hands. She will be direct, pointed, and intense but if you are someone who needs someone who lives and dies by this work - Jennifer is a great option. I’m thankful for the help and direction received during our planning process but I don’t think our personalities mixed well enough for us to commit a second time, should there be another opportunity.
