  Don was so much fun and very easy to work with! He lets you know what you need to do with very little explanation and the communication is excellent. The very few questions I had were answered quickly. He is very stress free to work with too and no bride wants added stress getting closer to their wedding day. I got my photos within two weeks of the wedding and that is because I was on my honeymoon right after the wedding.

  Bowens Mills is in Middleville, MI (near Gun Lake)
  The site has history and character. They offer a horse draw wagon/carriage ride with the hall rental. Gorgeous site for our fall wedding beautiful colors and they made us fresh pressed apple cider and homemade donuts for a nominal fee.

  a wonderful place. Absolutely beautiful. Owned by a wonderful couple who were very helpful before and during our wedding day. The venue was breath taking and everything you could ever want for the prefect outdoor wedding.

  One of the owners Is very unprofessional. They would answer me quickly thru Facebook messaging but They were unresponsive to my mother when she contacted them multiple times. Once we left a unsatisfactory review, Then they started harassing us and went so far as calling us/ messaging us on our honeymoon. Overall, We still had a great wedding. The grounds are beautiful but that's the extent of it. This venue has potential to be great but the owners would need to learn to take constructive criticism and use it to have better customer service!

  Rude and Disrespectful

  When I asked about availability they responded with information already provided on their website. When I asked again if the date I wanted was available they responded with an “LOL.” Not professional at all. I told them they were rude and should not be responding like that if I’m trying to book their venue. Then they told me that I should probably move on and they didn’t feel bad that I had told them they were rude. They also said “sorry you don’t have a sense of humor.” Definitely not a place I would want to have my wedding at if they’re that rude.
