Magical Experience

My husband and I got married at Bowling Brook on June 8 and it was the best day of our lives. It has taken me a month to come up with the right words to display the absolute beauty of this venue, but there is really only one word needed… magical. Our experience with Bowling Brook was absolutely magical, from our first visit to our wedding day and every moment in between. Debbie and her family will make YOU feel like family and they will welcome you into their home and allow you to make it feel like yours for the day. Their property is beautiful, the staff is beyond kind, and Debbie and her family are so accommodating and loving and their communication is wonderful. Our day was perfect and our experience with Bowling Brook was magical. We would without a doubt recommend Bowling Brook to anyone and encourage you to enjoy that same magical feeling that we felt!!

The most wonderful venue

I can’t say enough great things about Bowling Brook! The estate itself is just beautiful and a lovely setting for a wedding. You have a gorgeous rural, farmland setting, but also a charming, wonderfully restored mansion - the combination met the exact vibe we were going for for our wedding. The very best part of this venue, though, is the team here. It’s a family run business, and Debbie does everything she can to make you feel like you’re part of that family. She went out of her way to meet our needs, and felt more like a mom than a wedding vendor to me. We were able to stay overnight with our wedding party, which was nice to not worry about going anywhere. I highly recommend Bowling Brook to anyone looking for a wedding venue in a rural setting.

We love Bowling Brook Mansion!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding weekend here this past weekend! We Absolutely LOVE Mrs. Debbie and her entire staff…. everyone was so inviting, professional and accommodating. My wedding was a blast and we fully enjoyed every moment.. to the point of not wanting to leave Lol! 10 out of 10 I highly recommend! The Venue that Saved our Day!

Debbie and the team at Bowling Brook went above and beyond to make sure our special day was absolutely perfect. After multiple cancellations and delays from our original venue, we were recommended to Bowling Brook and once we realized that we were in Debbie’s capable hands, we never looked back. I am a bit embarrassed to admit this, but I was in literal tears during our tour after I realized how accommodating and focused on the details Debbie was. Debbie, Bobbi, Ashley, and her team did a wonderful job helping us make the event a huge success, and our guests were gushing with positive things to say about the venue. I am so grateful for the change in our plan, because it ended up being even more amazing than I could have ever imagined.

They can throw a party!

Words cannot describe how much I loved having my reception at Bowling Brook!
From the venue itself to the crew's incredible flexibility, I felt like I barely had to do anything on my wedding day.
The venue is so spacious, but also perfect with its small side rooms you can drift off to for an easy conversation without the DJ playing over you. The furniture provided was great and sturdy. Also, I loved that they set aside one of the nicest rooms in the house as the Bridal Prep Room to lounge in before the party starts. The best parts are the view though. Daytime, afternoon, and nighttime, this place is beautiful no matter what. They also have wonderful spots to take the most unique photos and we got the BEST sunset backdrop!

The team at Bowling Brook is a very well-oiled machine. They immediately knew how to assist catering, the DJ, and have the bar set up. Every moment ran smoothly. I felt like I was truly able to enjoy the night and worry about nothing.

I do recommend taking advantage of their bar services. They can do most drinks and the bar manager was willing to let me set up signature cocktails while still providing the common options for guests to choose from.

Finally, I just want to commend their flexibility. We had to reschedule the reception during COVID and they moved with us to another date with no problem. They also were willing to go with the flow as we changed up our vision and let us move furniture around (or remove when is clashed with what we wanted).

I really can't say enough about how much I loved this place. This place is worth every penny!

We absolutely love it here. The staff are unparalleled and the scenery is fabulous. No detail is overlooked and everything seemed so effortlessly flawless. We would undoubtedly chose Bowling Brook again for any event. We only heard rave reviews from all our guests.

Our experience with Bowling Brook Mansion was phenomenal! Deb and her crew go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. All of our guests commented on how comfortable and beautiful the mansion is and really enjoyed being able to leave the chaos to visit is one of the downstairs rooms. We cannot thank them enough and HIGHLY recommend. Thanks for making us feel like family!!!

This is the place for a flawless event!

We celebrated a wedding here and couldn't recommend it more! You can see the mansion and grounds are gorgeous, but it was the people who made the event a success. Everyone we came in contact with was professional and helpful. The pre- event planning was smooth and we were always able to contact Debbie easily. All our questions and concerns were answered quickly with the level of experience we really appreciated. We had some special requests and they were very accommodating. We had excellent recommendations for other vendors, and we were not disappointed. Especially during these stressful times, we could have had problems pop up, but our experience was easy, professional and we wholeheartedly recommend this venue for your event.

A Winning Decision

Our decision to have the biggest day/weekend of our life at Bowling Brook Mansion was simply the best ever! We can't imagine another place capturing the vision that we had for our wedding, our photos, videography, and our overall guests' experience. The owner and staff are extremely professional while making you and your guests feel right at home. After meeting the owner, Debbie and learning of the history of all the championship horses to go along with the gorgeous layout of the property are what first drew us in. Upon meeting the rest of the Bowling Brook team made the decision a no-brainer. It was a winning formula for sure and we've not been able to stop looking at our pictures and videos long after the event has taken place. The property seems even more beautiful when looking at the photos and just having a chance to reflect on everything. We continue to get compliments from guests and the word has gotten out that we pulled off the best wedding that most of guests have attended. We really can't say enough about how pleased we are with every aspect of the place and would recommend Bowling Brook over and over again. Another added bonus included most of our guests came from NY, NJ, VA, and CA so it was nice to have most of our wedding party and our photographer stay at the venue the night before and after the wedding for a stress free event. Would hire again in a second!!!

My husband and I were both living out-of-state during the planning months of our wedding, but Debbie, Ashley, Amanda, and Bobbie were SO helpful and flexible with our circumstances. Even on the day of the wedding, we all worked together and they went above and beyond to get the perfect ceremony in the rain. Bowling Brook was a beautiful venue and the team was a blessing to work with. Another thing that we loved about this venue was that we were able to bring in our own vendors that worked within our budget! That was an added bonus and they even had lists of their own if we were stuck. Choosing Bowling Brook Mansion as our venue was the easiest and best decision we made!

Debbie and family went above and beyond to make our daughters' wedding a wonderful experience. By the end of the weekend, they felt like family.

She even gave personal touches, such as bringing the wedding party a drink while we were having pictures taken. I highly highly recommend this beautiful venue!

You must have your wedding at Bowling Brook Mansion!

Bowling Brook Mansion exceed every dream I ever had for a wedding venue. Debbie and her team are so kind, experienced, easy to work with, and fun. The venue itself is GORGEOUS and we loved being able to stay the night in the mansion. Everything about my wedding day was perfect and that was because Debbie made sure everything was handled and taken care of. I can't recommend Bowling Brook enough!!

Awesome Proposal Dinner & Ceremony Booking Experience

Debbie and her staff are meticulous and cater to your needs. We just experienced a wonderful proposal dinner at the mansion, where we were made to feel as though the place was ours for the day. This included dinner for two, an overnight stay, and breakfast in the morning. Her team helped me pull off a fabulous proposal and we can't wait to celebrate our big day next year! She also has a great network of vendors that share her same passion & enthusiasm to make your day the best experience ever. We experienced this from the moment we walked in. If you are looking for a family focused venue where you're not a number, Bowling Brook is the place of choice.

Beautiful Mansion with Elegance

This place is amazing and so beautiful, and that goes the same for the owners. Debbie was perfect the whole time and really eased any worries that I had. I couldn’t of asked for anything better.

Beautiful and Elegant Venue for Our Wedding

What a beautiful place to get married! Debbie and her team catered to our every need from the beginning. Our wedding weekend included an intimate rehearsal dinner in the mansion, outdoor ceremony under the trees and reception in the ballroom. They have multiple options for ceremony locations. The mansion is tastefully decorated with historical artifacts and felt luxurious. The bridal suite was exquisite, with a beautiful view and comfy bed. We spent 2 nights there, which included a custom breakfast delivered to our room. Debbie is a professional and will work with you to make your vision come to life! She has a great attention to detail to make everything right. Our wedding day went smoothly, which is no small task with all the extra precautions taken for COVID. Highly recommend!

Best wedding decision ever!

The venue and staff are amazing! Ashley and Debbie were there every step of the way and helped make all our wedding dreams come true! If we could get married there again we would! Our guest loved it and how amazing the mansion was upkept with its great history!

The Perfect Venue!

I absolutely loved this venue but I loved the hosts even more. They are genuinely sweet, God-fearing people. They are very welcoming and helpful. Southern hospitality right in MD! I think the girls - Ashley and Amanda - are mor readily available and easier to access but Ms. Debbie is very friendly as well. This venue was exactly what I was looking for: it has outdoor and indoor spaces. I used it only for reception because I preferred a church ceremony but the venue is gorgeous inside and out. The mansion is spacious and has very large ceremony and reception spaces. It’s neatly kept. The peonies are very pretty. I love how the American flag highlights the color theme of the outside of the mansion. I just can’t remark enough about how beautiful the venue is. It’s very spacious and in a private, secluded yet romantically open farm area. The mountains are close by and majestic. The views all around are spectacular. If you’re looking for an upscale feel surrounded by people who exude a relaxed atmosphere and presence - this venue is for you. I live more than an hour away but this was the perfect venue for me. Brides - be sure to take a photo on the famous blue chair! Trust me! There are also several strikingly beautiful areas for photos.
