Mindy was an absolute angel ✨
She really went out of her way and helped me every step of the way. From recommending hair extensions, hair accessories and even just checking in with me from time to time. It wasn’t in my budget to do a trial but she was so great at listening and understood exactly what I wanted.
The day of she was extremely sweet and professional. I didn’t even know my hair could have turned out so beautifully. Easily one of my favorite parts of my day.
Thank you again Mindy!!
Looking forward to booking with her for any future experiences. -

The best wedding hair service, 11/10
Mindy was soooo lovely to work with! Right off the bat, you could just tell that she knew what she was doing. She was professional, reassuring, attentive, calming, and does outrageously beautiful work. Having Mindy do my hair on my wedding day was the most calming and peaceful part of my day. It was almost like a meditation time for me to be present and relaxed and collect my nerves lol. She really listens to what you want, and the way she did my hair was everything I wanted and more for my wedding day. I could not recommend Mindy and her services more!!! -

Mindy and her team weren’t just amazing day of, she was so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Mindy helped me try out several different hairstyles that I was going back and forth between for the trial as well as provided some amazing guidance on accessories for the different styles I tried. She also gave some insight into transportation for day of since I was struggling to figure one out! Day of went so smoothly with 7 of us getting our hair done! -

Amazing woman
Mindy came to my aid at my absolute 11th hour in crisis. Everyone else had to pull out at the last minute for one reason or another but by chance and grace I met Mindy. She was local and had great reviews and ultimately lived up to them if not more. She made my hair inspiration and dreams come true and I broke down in tears because I thought it wasn’t going to happen for me with it being 2-3 weeks out from my wedding date. She was super accommodating and professional and I would refer to ANYONE needing hair service of any kind. I love her care in hair products, she doesn’t use the cheap stuff. -

Beautiful Wedding Makeup
I loved working with Bows and Arrow for my bridal party wedding makeup. Heather and Nathalie listened to everyone's requests and needs, and did an amazing job making everyone look beautiful. They were punctual and professional, and Mindy was very responsive throughout the process. -

My wedding was March 8, 2020, and I had big dreams for my hair. My budget did not include a trial, so I just had to ask Mindy (hair) and Natalie (makeup) to do amazing things with no practice on me - and they did it! My hair was done so incredibly well, it felt secure and I got so. many. compliments on it I couldn't even tell you how many. My makeup had me looking my best and Natalie was done in record time. These two ladies made the morning of my wedding wonderful, chill, and then made the rest of my day beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better result and I am so happy with the work they did. -

When I saw Mindy's hairstyles, I immediately knew that I wanted to book her for my wedding! Her boho-chic style fit perfectly with my style, so I actually booked her before my makeup people! I was planning from across the country, and Mindy was so easy to work with. She had me send pictures of my hair so she knew what to expect, and inspiration pictures for myself and my bridesmaids. When my first look time moved up an hour, Mindy arrived at 7am in order to finish everyone in time. She was professional, caring, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. Everyone absolutely loved their hair. My updo stayed all day- even after a windy photo shoot, veil removal, and a full night of dancing! If I had to pick again, I would pick Mindy every time! -

I can't say enough about Mindy! She is such a joy to work with- super professional, totally understood what I wanted and delivered. She did my hair for my wedding, along with my sisters hair and was supportive, kept to schedule, and was so fun to work with. I couldn't have been happier with my hair and both of my sisters hair looked amazing. I would highly recommend her! -

When I first started planning my wedding, I wasn't sure if I would be able to find someone who would be able to do my hair how I'd like and if they would be able to understand or feel the vibe I was going for. I definitely did not want anything formal or too structured as my wedding had a very boho, relaxed vibe. I am SO glad I found Mindy! She was perfect! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and really made sure I was comfortable and happy with my hair. Even though I changed up what I wanted on the day of my wedding, Mindy was more than accommodating and I absolutely loved how it all turned out! It stayed together all night and looked amazing for hours! My bridesmaids, mom, grandma, and mother-in-law all loved their hair as well! I can't recommend Mindy enough!!! -

Mindy was such a pleasure to work with on my wedding day earlier this month! When I was planning my wedding, I wasn't sure if I wanted to hire a hairstylist because I didn't know if I could find someone who could get my hair just right. I'm so thankful I found Mindy and trusted her for my wedding day!
She brought a clear vision to the classic look I wanted and didn't rest until it was perfect. Beyond that, she's just a great person and was nice to have around on such an important day.

Mindy was absolutely a gem to work with. From my first preview with her to my wedding day hair, she exceeded expectations for my final look. Seeing as my wedding was Hawaiian, I was going for a very bohemian, beachy look. And wow..... she delivered. She made me feel so beautiful and was so warm and kind to work with. If you choose Mindy to help you on your special day, you will not be disappointed. You'll feel like you've known her for years and get a hair experience that is super high quality. If you're lucky enough to snag her, she is the best! -

Mindy is A+++! I booked a trial with Mindy for my engagement pictures and she spent SO much time with me trying out every hairstyle I wanted to see. She also helped me get ready for my photos (slip malfunction) and is just the absolute sweetest gal around. I had a lot of anxiety about our wedding morning being really stressful, but it was honestly so relaxed and fun, Mindy is exactly who you want to spend your wedding morning with. She did my hair as well as my grandmother, mother and sister, who loved her beautiful work as well. Look no further, book Mindy for your wedding now and have all your wedding hair dreams come true! ❤️ -

Perfect! Choose Bows and Arrow Hair :)
I would recommend Bows and Arrow Hair (Mindy) to any bride and chose her all over again.
By luck, I stumbled across her page from across the country (I live in RI, wedding was in LA). She was responsive and upfront about costs which made choosing her remotely so easy. She was willing to do just wedding day without a trial when I did not think scheduling would allow for one, and when I realized there was time for a trial she was flexible and worked around my schedule. I would 100% recommend a trial since 1) you meet Mindy and 2) you can go into your wedding day confident with the look/style you've tried. Mindy not only nailed my trial but also did a trial for my mom who was not sure of what look she was going for. Mindy was patient and persistent and wanted to make sure we were happy.
Wedding day was perfect. Due to the large number of girls getting their hair done (9 bridesmaids, 2 jr bridesmaids, MOB), Mindy brought a couple of wonderful assistants and made sure everyone would be done on time. Despite different stylists, everyone was on the same page with the style. Mindy still did my hair. It was exactly what I had envisioned, which can be tricky with my unpredictable, curly hair. It lasted all day, evening and into the night.
