  Everything I asked for and more....

  Tatiana and her team are AMAZING at what they do. They did hair and make up for me (the bride), 3 bridesmaids, a flower girl, and mother of the bride. They also did hair and make up for y engagement pictures. They were reliable and prompt with their responses both by texts and emails. They were early to arrive the day off (which is wonderful!). It was just a perfect experience!

  Tatiana is an absolute sweetheart! She is extremely talented in her profession and a complete perfectionist. She is so patient with a very calming presence, she truly cares about creating the exact look you desire. She will not stop until both you and her are completely satisfied, and the results are beautiful. I visited her a couple of times before my wedding, once just to get my eyebrows re-shaped and she sent me away with a lovely braid as well as perfectly groomed eyebrows!! She really does go above and beyond. On my wedding day I was so happy with both my hair and make-up, it was just exactly how I wanted it. She also did my bridesmaids hair and both mothers hair and make up with the help from her assistant Natasha (who is also another excellent stylist). We all looked a million dollars!

  Our daughter had a 'trial' makeup session with another vendor for her wedding, with results she was unhappy with. But, her workload as a doctor prevented her from finding another. Her Maid of Honor and BFF stepped in at the last minute, found Braid, and they worked from 7AM to 3PM on the wedding Sunday to make up bride, bridesmaids, and moms - and, the results were spectacular and all enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommended!

  This was my second time using Braid and Makeup Studio's services and I was as satisfied as the first time. Tatiana is very professional, has a very nice personality and she has a great taste! She listens to your needs but also gives a very good advice re. making your look suitable for the event. I will definitely go back!

  Tatiana is literally AS GOOD AS IT GETS. I have gone to her about half a dozen times now, and every time she does something different, creative, beautiful, and perfect for me. I always tell her she's the best in the world because she is!!! She has magic hands, and you will be red carpet ready by the time she is finished. She can evaluate your style and essence after talking to you for just a few moments, and personalizes the braid and make up you have in your mind or in a picture to fit your style and face shape. My face is more round so she always makes sure to give extra volume on top without looking unnatural. When it comes to make up, she is a perfectionist and an artist, I always leave looking picture perfect without over the top!
  
  Tatiana is also so thoughtful, interesting, funny, personable, direct, endearing, helpful, and goes above and beyond the "call of duty". A few weeks ago I was over at her place for a braid/make up session, and she helped me get a stain out of my dress, ironed it, and made sure I felt confident and beautiful before leaving!
  
  Her hairstyles and make up services are one of a kind and the best in this big city. LA is very lucky to have her! I work with celebrities and celebrity stylists on a daily basis, and I can assure you SHE'S THE BEST IN THE WORLD!

  In short, I would HIGHLY recommend Tatiana for your hair/ makeup for your wedding! I recently used her for my hair/makeup for wedding in October. She was very prompt-she arrived on time and had everything set up right away. My hair and makeup was absolutely amazing!!!

  Tatiana was absolutely amazing. I found her on Yelp when I was searching for a hair stylist for my wedding and decided to hold a trial with her - not only did she work with me to fit a hairstyle to my personality but also knew what would look best given my face shape, features, dress, etc. She did two different hair styles and even offered to do another trial right before my wedding if I wanted. She is incredibly talented and came up with a braided updo that was exactly what I wanted without me even knowing it - I have a lot of hair but she made it look perfect and not a piece fell out on the day of. I received so many complements and was so happy with how my hair turned out. I definitely recommend her :)

  Tatiana is located centrally in Santa Monica and her services are a testament of not only who she is, but her amazing work! I had read all the wonderful reviews on Yelp and went to see he for a mohawk braid that I had pictures of. She spent so much time trying different variations to make sure I was happy. It was the first time in my life that someone nailed exactly what I was imagining. She is so talented and so sweet. If you are looking for a true artist for braids or make-up, call her immediately!!! I cannot recommend her enough!!!

  Tatiana was just fantastic. I was so happy with my hair and makeup. She was professional and a great energy to have around on our crazy day. Shes receptive to suggestion, but I would recommend going with Tatiana's expertise as she has a great flare and eye for hair & beauty.

  I'm so glad I went with Tatyana for my wedding makeup and hair. She is very professional and knows exactly what looks good on her customers. Shes also has amazing braiding skills. I definitely recommend Tatyana and will be seeing her every time I need beautiful makeup and hair.

  I was so lucky that I found Tatiana on Yelp. She's super talented and very patient. Her priority is always her client's satisfaction. Based on one single picture that showing only one side of the hair design, she worked with me until my dream hairstyle for the wedding come true. And it turned out to be prefect. On my wedding day, I got countless compliments on the hair and makeup. The hairstyle also survived two hairband changes and lasted the whole day and night perfectly.

Though she was busy all day with back to back appointments, when my last appointment of the day came around, I never once felt that she was rushed. She is a perfectionist, which one wants in a makeup artist. Every part of her application - from primer, to product to final touches is a reflection of her talent. She uses high quality brands. You will not find anyone better at their craft and more likeable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone! I personally have hired her again for weddings, parties, or special nights out. When we first got to the room we were a little scared for what we got ourselves into, we were expecting a salon with a place where we could at least get our hair washed, but it was more of a apparent. Not what we were expecting, but still absolutely loved my expirience. They made sure I liked everything they were doing during thre process of makeup and hair and were flexible for ajusting anything. They both know a lot about what they are doing. I loved my result and would highly recommend to anyone.
