Not worth the money
Short version: Low quality photos, very poor communication, did not deliver what she promised on two different occasions.
Full story:
My husband, (boyfriend at the time) and I hired Bre to get some fun couples photos done while on vacation. She was quick to respond when we reached out and we like the photos on her Instagram. A day before our photoshoot she sent us several options with different locations and we picked one.
My boyfriend ended up proposing during the photoshoot. Bre said she was get us a few 'sneak peak' photos within a week to be able to share with friends and family. After one day I reached out and asked if she had a photo we could share and she said within a day she would send some...never received a single photo.
After one week, still never received the 'sneak peak' photos she initially promised.
After two weeks I reached out to make sure I was not just missing the email with the photo link and Bre just never responded.
After four weeks, I reached out for a third time and she said she would upload "a few" photos as soon as she could. Well that never happened.
EIGHT and a half weeks later we got our photos. They looked like she slapped a few filters on them and called it good.
I understand she was pregnant at the time and also teaches full time. However, we paid her almost $900 for low quality photos that we waited way too long for, after be promised "a few sneak peaks" on two different occasions.

I apologize for the delay in responding to your review via weddingwire and for the issues you experienced with my photography service. As you know I did reach out via email long ago to address your concerns. Your feedback is taken seriously, and I regret that your experience did not meet expectations.
During the time of your photoshoot, I was facing significant and unexpected health challenges due to my pregnancy, including hospitalization and severe anxiety, which unfortunately affected my delivery time. This is not an excuse, but rather an explanation for the delays and communication shortcomings. I realize now that I should have communicated these difficulties more effectively and I sincerely apologize for this oversight.
Regarding the cost of the service, I understand your concerns about the fee of $900. This rate was for three hours of photography, and included the 4 hours of travel to and from your destination, intending to provide you with a comprehensive and professional service. I did spend significant time editing people out of the background of your photos, adjusting the coloring, smooting skin, blemish removal, etc. However, I acknowledge that the final delivery did not align with your expectations, and for that, I am truly sorry. I did reach out to address specific editing concerns you had at the time after seeing this review, but did not receive a response from you.
Though I am unable to offer further adjustments to the photos at this point, I had previously reached out regarding a potential refund or any specific requests but did not receive a response via email.
I take full responsibility for not delivering to the standard you expected and am committed to improving my services. Please feel free to contact me directly to discuss the refund or any other way I might make amends.
