Brena Band fabulous!!
We hired the Brena band for my daughter’s wedding at Baypoint Inn and could not have been any more pleased with the music and professionalism they provided throughout the afternoon and evening, as a 50 year musician myself I was was amazed at the musical talents of all the band members, they were very accommodating to all and any requests and the wedding party and guests had the most wonderful evening, Brena comes highly recommend by me and they are sure to provide your party or reception with fantastic music and dancing, thank you Brena!!We hired the Brena band for my daughter’s wedding at Baypoint Inn and could not have been any more pleased with the music and professionalism they provided throughout the afternoon and evening, as a 50 year musician myself I was was amazed at the musical talents of all the band members, they were very accommodating to all and any requests and the wedding party and guests had the most wonderful evening, Brena comes highly recommend by me and they are sure to provide your party or reception with fantastic music and dancing, thank you Brena!! -

Best Night of our lives!
Craig and the entire band are a dream to work with. We booked two years in advance and were not disappointed. They know how to keep the party going, control a crowd and help you make a grand entrance. We are so thankful to have gotten them to play for our ceremony and reception. No one sat down. Just danced all night long! Going to find an excuse to book them again!Craig and the entire band are a dream to work with. We booked two years in advance and were not disappointed. Amazing Band
Hiring Brena was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. All the members are SO talented. Our friends and families raved about how great they were. Our dance floor was packed the whole night. Amazing Band!
Brena was professional and excellent from start to finish! EVERYONE was asking where I found them. (I think I found you guys a few new groupies!)
We had a great time dancing. Amazing sound, incredible vocals, and great diversity in their set list. The BEST wedding band ever! We found Brena on the knot and were able to watch them live at a few shows. We loved them so much we booked them almost 2 years in advance. They know how to keep a dance floor packed! With live and seamless transitions between genres, there was really never a dull moment on the dance floor. They took the simple direction of "keep the party going and play to the crowd" and did just that! I loved how responsive Craig and team were, how much fun they had playing our wedding, and how much fun the guests had. We had no less than 10 people ask for their contact information in the days after the wedding because they had such a good time! Also, amazing job emceeing the reception! They took the time to go over the timeline with us, get phonetic pronunciations for the bridal party, and work with us on the perfect timeline flow. Honestly, our wedding would not have been remotely as fun as it was without Brena. I would recommend them 1000 times over to anyone. Brena played my sister-in-law's wedding a few years ago and I knew I needed them for my wedding one day. I booked them before I even had a date, venue, or budget. They were incredibly nice to work with and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with them and stress-free. Our wedding was this past weekend and Brena helped make it absolutely perfect. I hardly left the dance floor all night and neither did our guests. I had people come up to me the next day and say that they were the best wedding band they have ever heard, and I completely agree with them. I am a budget-minded bride and let me give you some advice: splurge a little for Brena. They are worth every penny. Amazing experience!
I hired Brena Band extremely last minute to play my ceremony music. I had planned on using my DJ and they encouraged me to choose live music. I'm so glad they did. Brena's string trio was perfect. They met with me beforehand to go over all the selections and were so kind and accommodating. And of course, talented! I cannot thank Brena enough for playing on our wedding day! They played both our ceremony and reception and it was truly amazing. Not only are they extremely talented, but they are some of the nicest people I have met and so energetic- literally every one of our guests was on the dance floor because of them! If I had to do this all again, I would choose Brena a million times over!I cannot thank Brena enough for playing on our wedding day! I've never heard a string quartet do Mirrors by Justin Timberlake so beautifully. We had other selections, but this one was what my husband walked down to, and it calmed me hearing it before walking down the aisle. They let you do 3 song requests, and I got the band for ceremony and cocktail hour. I didn't get to talk to them at the wedding, however, before the wedding all e-mails and questions were answered right away, and made themselves available readily!

Having Brena band play at your wedding is a sure-fire way to make the day unforgettable!
We hired the guys to play something different for each part of our wedding; classical music for the ceremony, jazz trio for the cocktail hour, and full band for our reception. What an incredible choice and investment!
A few weeks before the big day, one of the band members (Craig) called to talk in detail about the day. Our conversation was thorough and we talked about details like microphone placement for the ceremony, what instruments would be used for the jazz trio and how they'd introduce us as we walked in. Craig was accommodating and attentive to our special requests (songs during the send-off and collaborating with a special guest singer (Ellie Frances - outstanding voice!) for two numbers at the reception. Throughout our entire experience it was evident that this band really cared about us and using their talents to make our day magical. Craig even sent recordings beforehand of both the first dance and unity symbol songs they'd practiced, to ensure we were happy with the way they sounded.
The day-of was spectacular. Brena's ceremony music was beautiful. Our guests can attest to the awesome jazz combo during cocktail hour and the reception...by far the one of the best choices we made in booking them! Everyone was dancing all night long. In fact, we had to move a few more tables and chairs out of the way to make more room for the dance floor. We can't count how many times family and friends asked where we found Brena. My uncle said he wants to book the band and he lives in NYC - they were THAT great! Brena band is a group of professional and talented musicians that put on an incredibly fun show with loads of on-stage presence and charm.
Bottom line: Book this band for your wedding!

My husband did not want a live band for our reception, but thankfully he agreed anyways and thank goodness he did! Half of our reception guest were not used to having dancing at weddings but Brena kept everyone on their feet and having fun all night! People kept coming up to me at the wedding asking who the band was and if I had their card. With both my husband and I coming from a very musical families, we were worried about the quality of a band. But everyone in the group was top notch from the vocalists to the pianist!
And they made the planning process so simple and were quick to respond to emails and any of my random requests.

They were originally booked on a different party for the day of our wedding. Of course we could not change the date because we had locked down our venue. Brena actually contacted their first obligation to ask if they would mind changing their date, and they did! Not only did Brena far exceed any expectations, they were the highlight of the night! I can count on one hand the amount of people that came up to me and said anything other than "this band is amazing!!". Brena Band was professional, skilled, flexible, and entertaining. Our dance floor was full the entire night. Their musical talent is unbelievable, mixed with the ability to hold and entertain a crowd between songs. We had the privilege of having Brena perform at our wedding about a month in Columbus, Ohio. They we're a massive hit and we got nothing but compliments on how awesome the band was that evening. These guys can play anything and everything and do it with incredible energy, quality and style. They were extremely helpful and reachable throughout the whole planning process as well. We will continue to endorse these guy's to friends and family because not only are they super talented, they're the nicest guy's you'll meet!

My husband and I were married on May 8, 2015 and Brena played at our wedding reception hosted at the Grand Rapids Downtown Market. From the very beginning they were professional, friendly and willing to create the exact feel that we wanted at our cocktail reception. The sound was incredible and presence was so engaging. We had multiple comments from our guests on how the atmosphere with the music was just perfect and we agree! They were the HIGHLIGHT of the night, everyone still talks about how great the band was. I don't think there was a time when people weren't dancing! I was a little hesitant when my now husband suggested the band but I am so glad that we did, I don't think a DJ would have done what they did.
