    Brian was AMAZING! He arrived on time, went over any questions I had before the ceremony began, and was accommodating to our requests. He provided an atmosphere that cannot be duplicated with a DJ. We received so many compliments from our guests on his performance and they too were impressed by his talent and professionalism. Brian exceeded all expectations we had! Brian added an element to our wedding that can only be described as PERFECT!!! We cannot wait to work with Brian again to help us celebrate an anniversary or two!!

    We hired Brian to play at our October 4, 2014 wedding in Petoskey. My only regret is that as the bride I was not able to hear as much of the music as I would have liked! But I received many compliments from my guests telling me how great the music was. Actually, Brian created one of my favorite wedding moments. He was playing the cocktail hour and when it was time for my new husband and I to come into the room, we happened to come in while he was in the middle of "Drift Away." We started singing, then Brian got the whole crowd to do a sing-along. It was perfect. Also, he was the epitome of professionalism. Our outdoor wedding unfortunately happened on a very cold, windy, and rainy day. But Brian and his violinist, Ann Marie, knew how much we wanted them to play. So after working with my family to reconfigure chairs and place themselves in a secure spot, we were a go for our music. I can't thank him enough for going the extra mile. He's truly a talent and I would highly recommend him. Thank you so much Brian for making our wedding day so special!

    We can't say enough great things about Brian! Our reception was small (under 50 people), and we hired Brian for both ceremony music (along with his violinist), and reception entertainment. We had a wide age range, from elderly all the way down to college and high school age, and everyone was entertained and engaged the entire 5 hours of the reception. Brian interacted with the crowd, got people up dancing, and was entertaining the entire night. His performance at our ceremony was also spot-on.

    We also had Brian learn 2 new songs for our first dance (Keith Urban) and father-daughter dance (Taylor Swift), which he played to perfection.

    He was professional, well prepared, showed up well before the event started to set up, and was everything we were hoping for.

    We would highly recommend him to everyone.

    Brian (and a violinist, Ann Marie) provided ceremony music for our early morning, sunrise ceremony this past Sunday, October 6, 2013. There are so many wonderful things about working with him:
    1) from the first communication he was professional, helpful, responsive;
    2) his obvious musicianship, showing through in suggested songs, and versatility;
    3) his flexibility in dealing with our very early ceremony, knowing full well that he had a late gig the night before, AND that he had to leave our engagement to be at another by noon of the same day. Oh, and did I mention that when he arrived (before 7AM in drizzle and pitch dark) he set up a tent that we were to use IF the weather were to clear.
    4) the songs he selected were just perfect for the type of ceremony, and small "reception" we had. I only wish that every couple could experience the fun, impromptu circle dance to "Hey Ho!" for which he provided the music.
    We will long remember this event, made so memorable by Brian and Ann Marie!

    Brian is the best.

    My wife and I needed someone to play ceremony music and our cocktail hour after the ceremony. We wanted a specific song and Brian thought it would be a good idea to get another guitarist and violinist to make the song even better without raising the money we agreed on.

    Along with that, Brian agreed to learn 2 additional songs just for us that were not on his list. He is one of the most professional vendors we had the pleasure of dealing with and he is very affordable.

    If I could give Brian more than 5 stars I would!

    I would recommend Brian to anyone looking for a wedding or entertainment.

    Brian Nolf opened our Manton Days Truck Show event and played in two separate sets for us. He did an amazing job and truly captivated the audience. The setting was a pavilion in a park area where the railroad tracks run through. People carried lawn chairs and blankets to come out and see him. He put on an interactive show for sure. Many commented on his outstanding talent and his ability to play and sing many different types of music by request. Thank you Brian, we would love to have you back any time!

    My husband and I cannot express how happy we were having Brian Nolf perform during our wedding ceremony and at the reception. We had an outdoor Lake Michigan wedding at our cottage and Brian made the day magical! We had never met prior to the wedding, athough from the initial phone call through the day of the wedding, Brian was responsive, cooperative, professional and compassionate. I had utmost confidence in his talent and aside from my ceremony selections, let him select all the reception music. Brian sang two songs during the ceremony that he learned for us and everyone was touched. It was amazing! Our family and friends had fun and danced the day away! We will be forever grateful to Brian for making our special day spectacular and fun!

    There aren't enough words to say how wonderful Brian's beautiful voice is. He made our special day, extra special. So pleasant to work with. He sang the music that we requested just how we had hoped it to be. 'The Prayer,' was absolutely magnificent!!! Everyone was very taken aback. You will be a very special part of our memories, for us, and many others.

    We hosted a "Flag Day Musical Extravaganza" on June 14, 2013 and Brian was a featured entertainer. He was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! There were approximately 350 people at this event which was sponsored by The Patriot Choir, a 15 member special needs group. Brian stayed around until the very end to greet the audience and chatted with the choir members. He has tremendous rapport with his audience and the quality of his voice and stage presence is excellent!!!

    Brian is a professional from beginning to end. If you want him to start playing at 7, he is there very early to set up and begin at 7. In addition, Brian's talent is wonderful. He entertains for hours and never seems to tire. Our guests could not believe we found such a great talent locally. It is obvious that Brian has been around. His professionalism is outstanding.

    He made our party! (45th Anniversary). We will hire him again in a New York minute for our next event.

    Brian was referred to the ParkShore Resort by a mutual friend as a quality entertainer that may serve our venue needs as a regular entertainer. We have live music every Thursday evening. We gave Brian a try and the result was excellent. Brian is very attentive to his audience, very willing to give 200% to his show, and most of all very qualified to entertain most any group. His instrumental and vocal skills have impressed our customers week after week. I hope you can enjoy his services as we have.     Brian Nolf made our Christmas party a big hit! My residents enjoyed him so much and he made his music fit the crowd. Our community has people of all ages so I was concerned about pleasing everyone. It didn't take long to find that the more mature residents were dancing and socializing for HOURS!! The little ones were enjoying Brian so much that they were interacting with him more than with Santa!! I couldn't have asked for a better performance, or for a better response. Brian's ability to maintain the attention of such a diverse group of people impressed me so much that we will be using him for all future community events.

    Brian, only you could stand on a stage with your Dad's vintage guitar, and an infectious smile given to you by your family, and take us through such a "journey of memories".... I watched my elderly mother clap her hands, badly bent with severe arthritis. and realized I was in the presence of a young man that wears his family heritage like a badge of honor .Your willingness to share your gift to entertain alll ages is a special thing strongly felt by your audience..Keep doing it ...
    Thank you forever, for being there to give our group this experience with our Mom, Grandma, and best friend, at a great time when we needed it the most....

    Brian's ability to captivate an audience with his personal interaction
    with all ages is a true gift...He warms the crowd and studies their reaction to him.He really creates the "more than a a festiv event".
    His vast knowledge of songs,and what to play at what time, lifts the spirits of the people attending, and gives you an assurance and security of the kind of contol he has to make it a memorable experience.
    I and myfamily have thoroughly enjoyed watching him on several occassions, and followed his heart felt performances many times. He is the type of entertainer that you can tell a friend how good he is, and he always exceeds expectations when they see him in person.
