  Elevated experience

  I can’t help but look at my wedding pictures and marvel at how lovely and flawless I looked! All thanks to Zarielle who my wedding planner recommended. Zarielle did my hair and makeup as well as my mom and my maid of honor and wow, she really elevated all of us. More importantly, Zarielle was extremely easy to work with, very responsive, and encouraged me to try new elements without veering from my vision. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

  Will definitely be working with Zarielle again

  Zarielle was punctual, professional, fun, and completely nailed my natural look for my big day. I will absolutely be working with her again. My hair texture is very thin and limp, but she gave me loads of volume to last throughout the day.

  My perfect engagement and bridal look with Zarielle!

  I cannot say enough about how great my experience was with Zarielle. She did my engagement makeup and ended up helping me last-minute with my hair that day as it was a bit humid in NYC and I needed some extra pressing! She listened to what I wanted and achieved the perfect soft glam. After months of searching for H&MU for my destination wedding in Charleston, SC and comparing everyone's work to hers, I finally decided to bring her down for my H&MU as well as my sister, mother, and mother-in-law's makeup and I am SO glad I did. She listened during my trial and made adjustments for my big day. We are all varying skin tones and she had us all glowing! Additionally, she did an outstanding job on my hair as I wanted a low, soft updo with a standout hair piece as I did not have a veil. She was patient, professional, flexible, and most of all fun. Well worth the price of her services. You can't go wrong if you go with Zarielle.

  Working with Zarielle was great!

  She was super responsive, and was even willing to flex the date should we need to change due to weather. We worked together to align on the look and she achieved exactly what we spoke about!

  Amazing Talent!

  I loved my hair! Zarielle did an amazing job doing my hair, but more importantly she was just a kind and considerate person to have on my wedding day.
  
  On the day of the trial she had my name written out on a little board, provided slippers and a robe. It was such a nice touch that felt so sweet and thoughtful.
  
  I was late on the wedding day and she didn't seem phased at all. I really appreciated her as a person and her services. Would recommend over and over again.

  Flawless & Friendly Bridal Hair and Makeup

  I am so happy that Zarielle did my hair & makeup for my wedding! My bridal trial was much longer than I anticipated because I was indecisive about my hair. Zarielle was patient with me, asked great questions, and had the ability to try every style I wanted- long & wavy, with extensions, up with a braid- she can do it all! She made me feel at ease, on time & schedule, and most importantly I loved the way I looked on my wedding day! Thanks Zarielle!

  Fabulous, flexible and fun

  I really appreciated Zarielle willing to be so flexible, as I changed up the look I wanted between the trial and our wedding day. She was lovely to talk with and made sure my Mum and sister were happy with their looks. Her makeup work was stellar.

  Excellent!

  Zarielle went above and beyond to make our day special. I was so nervous about my makeup and hair being “just right” for the big day and she came through and made everything perfect! She was there to touch me up, as well as the rest of the bridal party, through our getting ready photos, couple photos, and family photos. She is a dream and was so attentive to every detail.   Zarielle will make you look & feel gorgeous!

  I had so much fun working with Zarielle! She is so friendly and flexible, and I it was so easy and lovely getting to know her! My makeup trial (on valentines day!) was great, and she did makeup for my bridal boudoir shoot + for my husband and I on our wedding day...she is a super talented artist and I would recommend you book her TODAY for your big event!

  Wonderful MUA

  Zarielle was absolutely amazing! She did my wedding day hair and makeup, as well as my mother's makeup (which was a last minute request that she was gracious enough to accommodate). We both looked flawless. She is very professional, punctual, and talented. She even helped me button up my wedding dress. I was not able to do a trial run with her, since this was a destination wedding for me; however, Zarielle was very communicative and understood the look I was trying to go for through emails and pictures that I sent her. I cannot sing her praises enough! Thank you!

  Bridal Makeup

  Zarielle did my bridal makeup and she was absolutely amazing. She is extremely warm, kind and makes you feel super comfortable immediately. She’s been doing this for over 10 years and it shows. I received so many compliments on my wedding makeup and referred her to many friends. If you’re looking for bridal makeup for for an event I highly recommend her. Not only will you look amazing but you’ll also have a great time Zarielle and have many laughs. :)

  From my trials, all the way through the morning of my wedding day, everything with Zarielle went off without a hitch. The entire bridal party (10 women!) had their hair AND makeup done ON TIME and everyone was smiling ear to ear with the end result - no one wanted anything changed! I cannot convey how important it was to me to have this first part of the day go so flawlessly - it set the tone for the rest of the wedding. And it was all because of Zarielle.
  
  Z's just as great with hair as she is with makeup. Boy can that girl contour! And make your eyes, lips and other features POP. I felt like a million bucks - like the BEST version of myself!
  
  Above all, Zarielle's personality SHINES. She makes you feel like you're hanging out and getting dolled up with a friend. She's quick to answer any questions and amazing with planning / coordinating her services and timeline.

  Zarielle was fantastic and very professional for my NYC event. I found her through Vensette but she has direct contact too. I loved that I had no idea what kind of look I wanted for the the day and she asked me a lot of questions about the event and asked to see the dress.   Zarielle was hands down.....AMAZING. I had my hair and make up trial with her and fell in love with the look. My airbrush make-up and false lashes were flawless. She and her team came on-site to Staten Island for myself, my mother & MIL and my bridesmaids the day of my wedding.....each one looked amazing and everyone's hair and make up lasted all night long. Everyone was so pleased with their final results....and to top it off, Zarielle and her team were SO personable and fun to be around...and made us all feel at ease.

  I had the pleasure of working with Zarielle on two different occasions. One was for my daughter for her 8th grade dance the other for my daughter's bat mitzvah. Zarielle was amazing. She was able to differ the application of makeup for our different ages and desired looks. We were flawless. People even compared my look to that of Gwen Steffani and Marilyn Monroe. A mom of three cannot hear that enough. Zarielle is laid back, professional and very talented. She listens to what you want and then adds her unique "flair. Our looks lasted the whole day and for a 90 degree day that is not easy. I would recommend her over and over again and I have. I cannot rave more about her more. You will not be disappointed..

  Zarielle is wonderful. The transformation she gave me, the mothers and bridesmaids was amazing. She saw my vision of southern glam and translated through her makeup art. I've never felt so beautiful. She is encouraging, understanding through your moments of tears and provides a service beyond anything I could've imagined.

She transformed me, my mom and six bridesmaids/MOHs on my wedding day with ease and masterful execution. We walked down the aisle like we were ready to take on the runway. Zarielle took my vague (and often indecisive) descriptions beyond what I could have ever imagined.   I had my makeup done by Zarielle on my wedding day and was amazed by how talented she is! My bridesmaids (4BM's and 2MOH's, Sister and Mom) also had their make-up done by her and loved it! I struggle with makeup because my face tends to get very oily and I can go from glamorous to trashy in seconds. However, Zarielle was able to work around my facial issues and made sure that my make up lasted all day. My wedding was in July and although it wasn't humid that day, it wasn't necessarily amazing weather. It was still hot and I was moving around so much that day that I'm surprised my makeup didn't react to my surroundings. Not only did my makeup last all day but because I left to my honeymoon after the wedding, I really didn't have the time to take off my makeup and my makeup remained flawless despite the crazy amounts of humidity in Costa Rica. I was not only happy with the quality of the makeup but the quality of Zarielle's work, she literally made me look like a queen. I didn't want to look like a completely different person but she added on to beauty I didn't even know I had. I look back at my pictures from my wedding and know that I definitely made the right choice! Thank you so much Zarielle!

  Zarielle did a great job ! My first hair and make up trial with another stylists was a failure so I was very relieved when Zarielle did my second trial and it went great. She was on time on the day of, focused on what she needed to do and we were very pleased with the results. Thanks Zarielle!

  Came out great, but with some bumps along the way

  The good: Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and Zarielle did a great job making my bridesmaids feel at ease, chatting with us all day and helping a group of women who really know nothing about hair and makeup find their ideal looks.
  
  The bad: She was 45 minutes late, and we were never able to fully recover the time, causing us to be late to photos and messing up the rest of the pre-wedding timeline. Also, despite taking extensive photos during the trial to make sure she could recreate the look I wanted, she barely glanced at them while doing my hair, ended up with something different than what we'd had last time, and then we ended up spending at least another half an hour getting it back to the way it had been the last time.
  
  Ultimately, Zarielle's services might work well for just the bride or one other person, but I wish I had gone with an artist who brought an assistant so we could have made better use of time.

  All services were completed on time despite the unforeseen circumstances and everyone was happy with their service at the time they were completed.
  
  I cater to all wedding party sizes—small and large—with no minimum party size requirements. Brides with smaller party sizes, do have the option of adding another bridal hair/artist to expedite services at a convenience fee.
  
  I’m apologetic, however, to hear that you felt disappointed after the fact. I certainly strive for client happiness and it sounds like that is in question. Typically if there is an issue with a service, it is communicated at the time of service so I can rectify any concerns before departing.
  
  Again, I appreciate your feedback and will use it going forward to learn and grow from.

  Avoid this vendor

  After our wedding was postponed because of the pandemic, Zarielle was the only vendor who refused to return any amount of our deposit.

  In light of the COVID pandemic, I happily rescheduled your wedding date, as I did for nearly all of my 2020 weddings.
  
  When I couldn’t fulfill your rescheduled wedding date due to demand, at no additional cost, you opted for a new hair/makeup trial contracted with a third party vendor of your choice.
  
  Unfortunately, you cancelled your wedding entirely after rescheduling. I’ve been flexible, offering a credit for future use in support of your upcoming City Hall nuptials & to waive cancellation fees instated by the contract. I pride myself in delivering an extraordinary customer experience and apologize that the final resolution was not to your satisfaction. I am forever grateful for the grace and understanding of my clients as we navigate this pandemic together.
