  Professional and comforting

  Dana and Joe were amazing. Dana was the one who captured all those special moments. She was sweet, kind and outgoing. The pictures were so beautiful! Everyone I showed them to all agreed they were fantastic!! Thank you both soo much for making my special day even more special!!

  Amazing photographers with attention to detail

  Dana and Joe are true professionals that did an amazing job capturing our special day! Very personable and easy to work with throughout the whole process even during COVID! Their attention to details really shows through in their photos. We loved looking through our photos and they make them easy to view online with all the photos divided into categories. Highly recommend!

  Can't thank Dana and Joe enough for capturing our day - we absolutely love our pictures and can feel the emotion and relive the day through them 💕 thank you thank you thank you! If you're looking for a photographer for your wedding or anything really- I cant recommend this fun loving husband and wife team enough!

  Expert Quality and Wonderful People

  You will not find better photographers than this couple. They went above and beyond for us as in they drove to Sedona and hiked Cathedral Rock to get the best pics. Our engagement pictures came out more beautiful than we could have imagined. They are true professionals and are amazing individuals.

  If you are looking for the perfect way to capture your most authentic moments of your love as you move forward to planning the rest of your life, THIS IS IT. The process, the people, the experience, and the final product was nothing short of incredible.
  Dana and Joe take care of everything, making your only job to relax and enjoy the process. They make you feel comfortable from the very first moment, and carry that over into everything.
  They not only let us be ourselves, but they were able to capture it. We got the most incredible photos along with amazing memories.

  I cannot day enough about this amazing duo! They literally made OUR day. From our initial phone conversation, I knew they were it. We just connected. I feel like they can connect with anyone and create such a fun, relaxed, special vibe. Even with all of the outtakes, I can honestly say there weren’t any awkward photos. I’m sure you know exactly what I’m talking about; most of us dread taking photos for this very reason. Yet it was so smooth! They make you feel so comfortable and yourselves, you forget they’re photographing you. After our engagement shoot, we knew we had our wedding photographers. I would get married again just to relive our day with Dana & Joe! I can’t stop recommending them to anyone and everyone I talk to who is engaged.   We were so excited when we first met Joe and Dana! They were both SO nice. We won an engagement shoot from them (yay!) from one of the bridal expos and we couldn't have been more excited. When we meet them for dinner we had the greatest of times. Joe did our engagement shoot and he did such an amazing job. He made it super easy and relaxing for us and he was more than willing to give some of our ideas a shot. Not only did we get great pictures but we also had a lot of fun. I am excited to have these pictures for the rest of our lives. I couldn't be more thankful for Joe and Dana!

  If there is one word to describe Buchanan Photography, it is perfection. From the moment we met Dana and Joe, we knew they would be our wedding photographers - my fiance, who had no strong opinion on photos, literally shed tears when he saw Buchanan Photography's work for the first time. It is clear that they go above and beyond for their clients. They are always prompt and easy to get in touch with, they have a unique and beautiful photography style, and constantly make us feel like valued clients.
  
  Best of all, their photography is stunning. Dana did a wonderful job shooting our engagement session and we could not be happier with the results; there wasn't a single photo that we didn't completely love. Dana made us feel so comfortable and truly beautifully captured our excitement and happiness in our engagement photos. She was flexible and willing to get the shots we wanted, while also having her own in mind; it was the perfect balance. Her passion and skill is abundantly clear in our photos and perfectly captures the style we want.   Dana came out to Sherman Oaks and researched places for us since we didn't know of any cool spots. She went above and beyond to make our experience fun and captured us as a couple perfectly! The pictures came out gorgeous! If you wanna have an awesome time and get quality work done, these are the people to go to!

I found them through my aunt, I went to just talk with Dana and did not think I would pick someone already but after talking with her I knew they were the right photographers for us. My husband is a very shy guy who hates getting pictures done but Joe made sure to make him feel 100% comfortable. Same with Dana for myself, they made it so fun for every person! I will forever use them for our pictures!!!

  Buchanan Photography is phenomenal! It's been almost a year and I am STILL obsessed with each of my engagement/wedding photos! They flawlessly capture every emotion you will hope for and then some, especially the candid ones! They're consistently present at every special moment, while still being invisible. They're like photography ninjas!! They are so down to earth, personable, and flexible with all your wants and needs at such an affordable price! I just love their rustic/modern yet classic artistic style. They are so easy and comfortable to work with and make such a great team! I love Buchanan Photography!!

  I couldn't be more thrilled with my wedding photos! Dana is young, and has this kind of crazy energy that is just infectious: she opens up so much around you that you feel comfortable almost immediately with her. (That includes my "but I'm always so awkward around cameras!" husband and my entire wedding party.) She did both our engagement and wedding photos, and we're overjoyed with both. Dana's second photographer is her husband - we spent less time around him over , but his pictures are flawless so clearly he's doing something right. Also - don't let the age and bubbly personality fool you into negative thoughts: we were consistently impressed with her business model and professionalism from start to finish. Well managed, well organized, and outstanding product.

  Buchanan Photography is a dream! Dana and Joe are up for anything and if you are worried about ideas/themes for your photos they can help you out! I have had a total of three photo shoots with Dana and she makes you feel comfortable and beautiful! She brings out your best smile.
  
  My Husband worked with Joe on our wedding day and said, "He fit right in with the guys! He took excellent pictures of us while getting ready and was very supportive along the way."

Dana was great to work with and flexible with what we wanted for our day, as well as affordable.
