We highly recommend Kim and Burke Florist. We'd explored Pinterest to see what interested us, but didn't know exactly what we wanted. Kim talked with us about what colors and flowers we liked and disliked, and looked at two inspiration photos. When she delivered them, we were amazed by how gorgeous they were, especially my bouquet and my husband's perfect boutonniere. Numerous compliments from our guests and we're still enjoying them at home a week later. Thank you! -

Kim was a joy to work with! She was a total pro, very experienced, sweet, and seemed genuinely excited to work on my wedding florals! She knew exactly which flowers would achieve my vision and budget! She was very communicative, not pushy, and executed flawlessly. On the day of the wedding, everything was PERFECT and on time. She was able to repurpose some flowers from ceremony to the reception. It was gorgeous and I couldn't recommend Kim enough! -

After Burke Florist helped us with our elopement in August of 2020, we recruited them to provide the flowers for our 9/3/21 wedding celebration party, and Kim & her team delivered. We sat down and met to discuss options and pricing, where Kim ensured she understood my style & vision. I can’t recommend Burke Florist enough to not only provide beautiful flowers, but to hold your hand through the process! -

Nailed my vision!
One of the vendors that I struggled the most to find a good fit was a florist. After I met with Burke Florist it was a done deal and my nerves were settled. I had such an amazing consultation with them and they took their time to get to know me and what I was looking for. I was also looking for an arbor piece that could be converted to our head table after the ceremony and it was so much better than I could have imagined. I LOVED my flowers and could not have been happier with the service and the price! -

Denise did an amazing job with the flowers for my wedding! They were much more beautiful than I ever expected. During the initial consultation phase, she patiently sat down with me to discuss what I had envisioned and helped me choose what I needed. She was friendly, honest, and very helpful in her feedback. Being an indecisive and scatter-brained bride, Denise was very flexible patience coordinating back and forth with my many edits up until the wedding day. She was very communicative as well in updating any changes I had mentioned in the proposal. The prices for Burke Florist was very fair and they do not upcharge you for silly things like transportation fee or props rental. I would highly recommend Denise and her team for any events! -

Denise was a dream to work with. She is so sweet and just as professional and responsive to any questions and/or updates we had with our flower order.
My wedding was initially scheduled to be held outdoors in November, however due to winds and chilly temps (low 40s) we had to move it indoors. The day before, Denise contacted me to first ask how I was doing and if we needed to make any changes due to the temperatures. I let her know that we decided to move indoors and she immediately offered suggestions and additional décor to help spruce the place up. I sincerely appreciated that.
About a little over a year in advance I provided Denise with photos of what I wanted and, when I met with her in person, she showed me options of flowers that I could use that would be in season and could help me make as close to the bouquet that I wanted but stay on the affordable side. On the day of the wedding, I just about cried when I saw the bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and additional arrangements! They were SO gorgeous and absolutely what I wanted!
They offer delivery and pick up service (at cost) and that was sincerely appreciated. It was a lot less for me to think about the next day.
I will continue to recommend Burke Florist to anyone who is in need! -

Katie at Burke Florist did a BEAUTIFUL bouquet and centerpiece arrangements for our wedding in Northern Virginia this October. We had a smallish wedding and needed one bouquet and 6 table arrangements. We’d been thinking about DIY flowers, but decided to check out Burke Florist just a few weeks before the wedding. We’re SO glad we left it to the experts. They turned around such a beautiful display on short notice and within our budget, and they were very responsive and easy to work with.
The process was super easy – I emailed some photos and general ideas about the look and feel I was going for, as well as our budget. Then we met Katie in person at the shop to discuss specific flowers and greens and other details, and drop off a bunch of vases we’d picked up at a thrift store. A few days before the wedding, we needed to add one more table to our reception, which they accommodated easily.
The day of the wedding, Burke Florist delivered and set up the centerpieces and left my bouquet for me in the bridal suite. (Contrast this with my DIY nightmares about buckets and trimming stems and hauling floral arrangements to the venue…) Everything was so gorgeous and we could not be happier with the way it turned out. Denise, the owner, was very responsive via email, and Katie really captured the colors and rustic chic feel we discussed! The bouquet and table arrangements were just stunning (we didn’t get great pics of the table arrangements, but hopefully these convey the idea!) -

Deryn Sent on 10/13/2018My bouquet, along with bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful! So clean and crisp. We opted to do simple greenery for our centerpieces and while simple, it was still beautiful. What really impressed me though was our flower girl’s flower crown. She kept it on the whole evening because she loved it that much (she’s 2, so we did not expect her to keep it on). Would recommend Denise and her business in a heartbeat! -

Denise was so easy to work with - she helped me pick out all of the flowers for my bouquet because I had no clue what I was doing. Their prices are very reasonable and I definitely got my money's worth. i would definitely recommend Burke Florist for any occasion!!! -

She was always friendly and accommodating of any request we had, and she had great ideas when I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. We were absolutely floored with how beautiful everything turned out on the day of the wedding, from the centerpieces, to the bouquets, corsages, and other arrangements. They couldn't have been prettier! Denise delivered and set them up herself and was very professional and did an amazing job. We would recommend them to anyone!
