FABULOUS- the best experience
If I could give Solmaz 10 stars I would. She is FANTASTIC- stop looking for a wedding planner and hire her immediately. She has excellent connections in the Napa/bay area and was so easy to work with. I am a type A bride and she put up with all of my craziness with a smile and was able to keep my groom and I laughing the whole way through. She has saved the day countless times in numerous situations- one of which had to do with some family members and she handled it so gracefully and kindly. She has excellent taste and was able to steer my ideas to make sure they were consistent and made sense. Every detail was looked after and executed with such class and elegance. Our guests do not stop talking about how beautiful and amazing the wedding was.
Solmaz made excellent suggestions about vendors especially based on our budget- and helped us look for details when hiring. She always looked through contracts and made sure everything was "Kosher" if you will. The day of our wedding was a breeze and I worried about nothing because I had her there running the show. She always was on top of our timeline and making sure that things were running smoothly.
It was the most special, amazing, beautiful and memorable day of our lives and It wouldn't have been possible without Solmaz. We could not thank you enough for all the hard work you put in- we are so incredibly excited for your new adventure and all the amazing clients that will come your way.If I could give Solmaz 10 stars I would. Best Decision We Made
I cannot emphasize enough that hiring Solmaz and her team was the absolute best decision we made for our wedding. Without them, it simply would not have been possible. The thought of planning a wedding can be daunting, but Solmaz made the entire process incredibly smooth and easy. Whenever people asked me if I was stressed or freaking out, I confidently replied that I had the BEST wedding planner and felt no stress at all.
On the day of the wedding, everything was pure perfection. Solmaz and her team went above and beyond to make our dreams a reality. From providing us with little snacks to ensuring we had our drinks of choice, they took care of every detail. They were always there for us, ready to assist with holding my train and veil whenever I needed to move around. Their support and dedication were truly amazing. Our Sonoma, CA destination wedding day was absolutely perfect and went off without a hitch thanks to Solmaz! She has an incredible eye for details, design and aesthetic and was there every step of the way for our wedding planning process. She was extremely responsive to any questions we had during the process which was a huge help to us as a busy bride and groom. She also acted as our adviser throughout our interactions with vendors, helping us understand what was realistic when it came to budget and contracts. Most of all, she went above and beyond the week of our wedding, making sure everything went according to plan with coordination of the vendors, design of our venue details and timeline the day of. She managed everything seamlessly, allowing for us to enjoy our wedding day without thinking about the logistics. Solmaz also had a very caring and warm disposition throughout our wedding planning journey, not only with us but with our other vendors we were working with, and our families and friends the day of the wedding as well. Pretty Occasions is definitely the way to go! Solmaz was an absolute gem to work with. She has an easy disposition and confidence about her that makes you feel completely at ease knowing that your wedding is in good hands. She is very detail oriented and will help keep you on track with all your vendors and such. I always felt like she understood my vision for my wedding (this changed quite a bit with my fantastical ideas and my fiancé reigning me in) and did her best to try and help me find what I wanted from recommendations for Gold Candelabras, to Circus Performers to Gold Cake Boards, she was on top of it.
I truly enjoyed working with her and I'm grateful that she was able to pull it all together so marvelously. She was always easy to get a hold of and responded quickly to requests, questions, and such. I'd love to use her services again for another event. I didn't decide to get a day of event coordinator until the last minute, and I was really glad I did. Solmaz was very helpful, and friendly, and I truly appreciated her service. My wedding went on without a hitch, and she was always available via email for questions. I would highly recommend her services. She handled all of the red tape of the wedding, and I didn't have to worry. She's efficient, and autonomous, so she handled everything unless there was truly an issue, which there weren't any. She communicated well, and kept me in the loop. Their contract was comprehensive, and she delivered all the services that were listed, and more. She went above and beyond the call of duty, and if I could do it again, even though the wedding was perfect, I would have hired her to plan the whole thing. She's amazing. I don't know where to begin to express my appreciation for these ladies. Pretty Occasions team are just amazing. I got married on June 13th, with my ceremony and my reception at different locations. We decided on getting the month of package and Solmaz was on it from day one. She was there for the walk through, rehearsal and for anything I needed. With my two locations, her and her team were at both locations getting everything set up to exactly how I wanted it. These ladies are the best and are amazing at what they do. My overall rating would be a negative -5.0 if that was an option! I never give reviews but this was the worse experience I had on my special day! I was very disappointed and so was my family/guest with the service of Solmaz! I would NOT recommend having her as a wedding coordinator! She was awful and very rude to my family and guest at the wedding! No one should ever have her as a wedding coordinator!!!!! Honestly she ruin my wedding and I regret ever hiring her. Instead of making things easier or smoother for my big day she made everything so much worse and didn't care at all how my BIG & ONlY wedding day went! She lied and she spent majority of her time on her phone instead of giving me/guest the the attention we needed! I want a full refund back, that's how bad she was and she didn't follow the guidelines that were given to her by my venue either!
Do not hire Solmaz, you'll regret it!

She was awful and very rude to my family and guest at the wedding! No one should ever have her as a wedding coordinator!!!!! Honestly she ruin my wedding and I regret ever hiring her. Instead of making things easier or smoother for my big day she made everything so much worse and didn't care at all how my BIG & ONlY wedding day went! She lied and she spent majority of her time on her phone instead of giving me/guest the the attention we needed! I want a full refund back, that's how bad she was and she didn't follow the guidelines that were given to her by my venue either!
Do not hire Solmaz, you'll regret it!
