  Gorgeous flowers for DIY couples

  If you are a crafty or DIY-friendly bride or groom, or working with a smaller budget, Butterbee Farm is the way to go. We knew we wanted beautiful flowers but didn’t want to shell out for generic, predictable arrangements from a florist.
  
  I heard about Laura Beth and Butterbee farm through a friend, and once I’d seen photos of their flowers I knew I definitely wanted to work with them.
  
  Since we weren’t married to any specific color scheme, we went with the “Butterbee Flowers” option, where you receive a selection of flowers chosen by the farmers. Our flowers (for an October 19, 2019 wedding) were a gorgeous mix of colors, shapes and sizes.
  
  Putting the arrangements together with friends and family was one of the most fun parts in the leadup to the wedding. We picked up our flowers on Thursday in the afternoon, spent a few hours on Friday morning making them into bouquets and arrangements, and by Saturday when they were on show, they were still incredibly fresh and beautiful.

  Gorgeous flowers, local farm, great value

  Purchasing flowers from Laura Beth at Butterbee Farm was one of the most enjoyable parts of this process. My MO was to make as few decisions as possible but still have it feel very authentic, reflect values, and save money. That's a lot to ask. Enter, their Butterbee Flowers service. Simply share the color of your bridal party outfits and these experienced farmers take it from there, giving you the most sustainable, local, gorgeous flowers available. Arranging flowers was not difficult at all, it just required time and hands. The fact that this service is more affordable ($1/stem) was music to my ears. Purchasing flowers through Butterbee made me feel connected to my local community and environment, something that is rare in the wedding planning process. Moreover, Laura Beth is extremely kind, helpful, and responsive.

  Lovely flowers without crazy costs!

  We used Butterbee Farm for our flowers (upon the recommendation of my sister's friend who did our arrangements), and we are so happy we did! Our flowers were beautiful and were such a nice touch to our outdoor wedding! We went with whatever flowers were in season, especially since we didn't have any preferences when it came to color, etc. I'm glad we did because they were such a unique variety and provided a lot of beautiful pops of color. We also were able to get boutineers for 10, bouquets for 8, bridal bouquet for 1, flowers for 16 tables, and 2 corsages for thousands less than we would have had we gone with a regular florist. Finally, Laura Beth was responsive and super sweet! If you are looking for a DIY option and to support a local business, definitely go to Butterbee!

  Laura Beth is amazing. I used the Farmer's Choice package which meant she harvested a number of stems of flowers that were available that season. I was a little nervous that I'd be stuck with things that other people didn't want but I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up with a mix of greens & flowers; many of which I didn't recognized but made a colorful addition to my bouquets, corsages, & centerpieces. If you're a DIY-bride & are looking for bulk flowers like I was, this is the place to go. They were harvested on the 7th & many of them still look fresh today, the 10th, with no special care.

  There is just not enough praise I can give to Laura Beth and her precious Butterbee Farm! From initial inquiry to flower delivery, Laura Beth made the experience such a joy! Butterbee Farm was recommended to me by Local Color Flowers (who did my personal flowers and whom I would also highly recommend) when I needed to get within my budget for centerpieces and decorations. Supporting small businesses and the environment is very important to my husband and I, so choosing to work with these great folks was a unique and wonderful experience. If you are on the fence, I hope this helps you choose Butterbee Farm for your DIY floral needs!

  We got our flowers through Butterbee Farm and they were amazing! Laura Beth was extremely responsive and easy to work with and the flowers were absolutely perfect. We were able to get a TON of flowers for a very reasonable price. We also had a "floral design party" that they organized with a florist from Local Color Flowers come and help us with the arrangements the day before and everything came out perfectly. Going through a local farm isn't for the bride who has an exact color scheme or particular flowers in mind as you are subject to what is available that day, but if you are willing to be flexible, you can get a bargain on some really fantastic locally sourced flowers.
  
  I should also mention that I got married outside on one of the hottest days in summer, and the local flowers used withstood the heat and humidity perfectly!

  We got our flowers through Butterbee Farm and they were amazing! Laura Beth was extremely responsive and easy to work with and the flowers were absolutely perfect.   Butterbee Farm was great. We contacted Laura Beth only about a week before the wedding, and she made everything work for us. She offered to meet us at her farm where she showed us what was blooming and what she had available. Then, she delivered the flowers at 8 am on the morning of the wedding, just as we had requested. Our family and friends then helped us to arrange them. The flowers were beautiful and held up well on a hot July day (and for most of the next week!).
