  Beautiful Interpretation of vision

  Laura did an amazing job! She took my vision and my inspirational photos and turned my wedding day venue into a magical setting. I let her choose the flowers and I had no regrets. Everything was beautiful!!! I would definitely choose Laura again!!! And her pricing was very reasonable. I am so glad the first florist I went to never called me back!!

  Stunning flowers, great price

  We had a truly exceptional experience with Buttercups Floral. They recreated our pinterest inspiration bouquet beautifully and we got so many compliments. They have a great selection for winter weddings and are affordable compared to many options in the area. Go with them, you won't regret it!

  Beautiful flowers!!

  Laura captured my vision perfectly!! The flowers she used were absolutely gorgeous and I received tons of compliments on the bouquets (bride & bridesmaids) and centerpieces. She also did an amazing job on arrangements for our ceremony, boutonnières, and corsages. I could tell the flowers were fresh and they had a nice scent to them. I wish they could last forever!
  
  Laura was easy to work with and I love how she uses seasonal, local florals as much as possible. I had a specific request for garden roses in my (bride’s) bouquet and she made it happen! They were so pretty and looked perfect with the other flowers in my bouquet. I was also impressed of how closely the colors of the flowers matched my bridesmaid’s dresses. She also was very detailed to make sure we had the proper amount of flowers for the ceremony and reception (not too many or too few). The flowers were delivered early to multiple locations and packaged with care.

  Laura was fantastic to work with and made the planning of my wedding easy and stress free. During the first planning session, we talked through my visions and she helped me paint the picture for exactly what I wanted for my big day! She was so helpful in choosing the flowers that match my wedding colors and how to decorate the key pieces at my venue. She was quick to respond with any questions or modifications I had as well. On the day of, she arrived on time and decorated the entire venue perfectly, so I did not have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend Buttercups Floral Design for any wedding or special event!

  Florals Looked Incredible

  Laura is so great and easy to work with. She spent the time discussing what I was looking for, and without really knowing exactly what I wanted, she produced some of the most amazing bouquets I've ever seen! Laura is responsive and did a great job providing counsel and pointing me in the right direction to make sure I had everything I needed during the planning process. The end product completely blew me away and her prices were very affordable. The entire process was seamless. I would definitely recommend Buttercups Floral for your wedding.

  I had spoken to a couple of other florist, but when I met with Laura, I was just so impressed with her style and her suggestions, we booked her right away. She really captured the look and feel I wanted, she had great ideas and the end product was amazing. Not only that, I was worried that for everything we were getting, we were going to have to go over budget- we do not! Laura made sure we got our money's worth and then some and we couldn't be happier with the flowers on our big day!

  Our flowers were amazing!! Laura truly out did herself. She made our vision come to life. Laura was very organized and could quickly take our thoughts and ideas and turn them into a reality. The bridal parties bouquets were beautiful, and the way she was able to weave floral themes through all of the decorations, bouquets, and boutineers was stunning! Our guests could not stop talking about how amazing our centerpieces were. Laura really created a beautiful ambiance.

  Laura did an amazing job with all of the floral arrangements for our wedding. When we first met with Laura I had a general color scheme and some ideas, but nothing set in stone. She took the ideas I had and ran with them. She made them better than I could have imagined. The center pieces that she created helped set the tone for our wedding. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful they were. The bouquets she made for myself and bridesmaids were beautiful. The colors really popped and brought in the color scheme that I was looking for. My husbands favorite flower is a tulip and she was able to make his boutonniere a unique purple and white tulip that she planted herself. The groomsmen had beautiful purple tulips that complimented the grooms. I am very impressed with her talented work.

  Laura is one of those people that makes me want to be better at the creative side of my job. I am a wedding planner in my real life, and I send my clients to her because she is always creative. I tell her that a client likes a certain flower, color, theme and off to the races she goes! By the time she is done, I sit back wishing for an ounce of her creative energy.

At our first meeting, I only had a vague idea of what I wanted, but she showed me lots of examples and asked me questions to figure out what would fit for me, and then sketched it out right on the spot! We had some changes as the wedding got closer, and Laura accommodated them without a problem. On the day of the wedding, she was punctual (early, in fact) and efficient. Everything looked great. Laura is professional and responsive, and her prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Laura and Buttercups Floral Design!

  Buttercups Floral Design's flowers were beautiful! Laura was creative and passionate about designing floral arrangements for our wedding. She also had a close working relationship with other vendors in Winchester, Va, which kept coordination efforts at a minimum. Several guests commented on the stunning flower arrangements at both the ceremony and reception site.

  As a wedding professional photographer myself, I knew that when we decided to have a 20 year vow renewal ceremony we only wanted the best with all of our vendors. I knew that having Laura create the florals would be the way to go! I knew what I wanted as far as colors and ideas for flowers but I also wanted to give her the liberty to use her creativity for the florals and she did amazing!
  when I walked into the room to see everything it took my breath away, the full year of planning coming together was gorgeous. I keep looking at my bouquet and loving everything about it! Laura, thank you for everything! I couldn't imagine anyone else having done such an amazing job for us!

  My husband and I had a hard time finding a florist since we were on a budget, yet we wanted beautiful flowers. We met with several florists, but Laura was by far the best! She had so much energy and just seemed so excited at the chance to make our wedding beautiful. And her flowers are grown locally on her farm, which is amazing. Neither my husband nor I are very knowledgeable with flowers, so during our first meeting Laura pulled out this ginormous book and went through different types with us to ensure we would have what we wanted. She also understood our budget and was so reasonable with pricing and with last minute changes. Her rentals also made the decorating very easy. We were able to rent everything from the arch to centerpiece jars. Oh and the arch was so beautiful. We told her from the beginning what arch we were looking for. She didn't have one in inventory so she made one for us instead! The wood came from her 200 year old barn. It was beautiful as was everything else. We are so happy with our choice in Buttercups Floral Design. Definitely found our florist for life!

  My husband and I found Buttercups Floral Design through our wedding planner. We first met Laura when we sat down to discuss our wedding vision and what flowers we liked. She dove in with such energy! She showed me new flowers and we came up with a combination of flowers that I really loved! (including peonies, anemones, and ranunculus) We talked about several options for the ceremony and reception floral decor. Laura then put together a quote with everything, so that we could decided what we wanted and what would fit into our budget. She was very flexible, we went back and forth a couple times to refine exactly what we wanted for our wedding flowers!
  We had three beautiful bouquets (one bridal and two bridesmaid) which Laura was able to incorporate our Disney theme by attaching a Cinderella pin to the stems/handle. For the ceremony, Laura did two floral arrangements placed on pedestals by the gazebo we were married at; these were then reused during the reception. The reception floral decor was where we focused more of our floral budget. We wanted to have several different table settings, so Laura created different arrangements along with mercury glass and silver goblets. The decor was perfect!
  Each of the arrangements was also in a removable plastic container, so it could be taken home. Our family took advantage of this. Our bridal party took their bouquets home as well to enjoy them longer. I had my bouquet dried; it is just as beautiful!

  Laura is amazing. She has great vision and truly listens to you and gets what you would like down on paper and then translates that into real world flowers that will blow you away. She works with you to get you right on your budget without sacrificing beauty. The arrangements she made were gorgeous. You can't go wrong with booking Buttercups.

  Laura was great to work with, well priced and flexible. I loved my flowers and i couldn't have been happier with the way it turned out! She is a real artist and has a great eye for making things natural and beautiful. She set up all our tables and made sure the church was perfect. I had so many compliments on the flowers at my wedding.
  
  She is also nicely priced. My sister used a different florist this summer for her wedding and it was twice the cost with not much more to show for it.

  Laura did a great job on the flowers for my daughter's wedding. We met her briefly at a wedding fair and when my daughter met with her in person, they were immediately in sync. My daughter did not want too many flowers, which might have put many florists off, but not Laura! She readily accommodated Michelle's desires for a lot of fall leaves, branches and candles accenting some flowers. Laura was also good at suggesting items that could be moved from the ceremony space to the reception and serve double-duty. She created a wonderful natural arch augmenting the fall colors for the ceremony, which was then used at the entrance to the reception. Lanterns lined the ceremony aisle and then served as centerpieces for some of the reception tables. The room looked great and Laura was very good at delivering what Michelle wanted while being flexible. We would definitely recommend her.

  I loved my bouquet and all the flowers. They were amazing!! they even last me 3 weeks after my weeding outside on my deck!! lovely!! Laura does such a great job!!

I will admit that I was not a picky bride, Laura understood the vision and did what she does best. She's an expert with her flowers and gives you suggestions that just make your flowers stand out.

  I absolutely loved everything Laura put together for my wedding! There was an arch on pinterest with flowers all across the top that I was in love with and I showed Laura and she built basically an exact replica of it for the wedding day! It was so beautiful and received so many compliments! We also rented a crystal chandelier to go in the arch and I told her what kind of chandelier I wanted and she found the perfect one that went perfectly with the arch! We ended up taking many of our photos with the arch as the backdrop! The centerpieces were also incredibly beautiful and were highly complimented on as well! The flower arrangements were all perfect versions of what I asked for and made my big day beautiful and I am so grateful to Laura who is an absolute pleasure to work with!
