  Great experience with C'est La Vie!

  C'est La Vie was our Wedding DJ for our wedding this January 2024. Working with Komlan, DJ Othniel and DJ Jakob was wonderful. They provided a great experience from planning to the day of! Our wedding day brought a big snowstorm, but the snow didn't impact the fun our guests had thanks to C'est La Vie!

  Had a Blast!

  The team they had were amazing! everything was perfect from the bridal entrance to the reception. They are extremely detailed in preparation. Execution was flawless and a lot of fun! Throughout the reception the MC kept checking in on us regarding timelines making sure everything was on track or if we wanted to make adjustments. Our guest were on the dance floor all nigh till closing! everyone loved the team, I am extremely blessed to have them apart of our beautiful day.

  Komlan is awesome!

  Komlan was the BEST! He was friendly, outgoing, catered to song requests and definitely knew how to keep the party going. He could read the vibes of the room & play songs that matched with the vibe. He was very good at keeping us on schedule too! Cannot recommend him enough! Thank you for helping make our day so special, Komlan!

  Fantastic DJ!

  DJ Breezy aka Bobby did an excellent job Djing at our wedding over the weekend! He was easy to work with and very professional! All of the music was on point and we even had a handful of our guests compliment our playlist while music was playing during dinner. I highly recommend getting hooked up with him as your DJ!

  5 Stars All Around!!!

  Bobby and Komlan both were very pleasant to work with! For several months, they kept in touch to make sure we would have everything we wanted for music/entertainment for our big day. DJ Bobby was so flexible on the day of the wedding as we had a few last minute changes. However, with his help, no one noticed. He kept the crowd hyped the entire day/night and everything flowed smoothly. Bobby also did a fantastic job at transitioning from one genre to another as it isn’t always easy to do, especially when the songs are all in different languages. We are so incredibly happy with his work and would recommend him and C’est La Vie Events to our friends!

  Happy beyond expectations!

  Our experience with C'Est La Vie Events with Komlan & Bobby were nothing short of amazing. Komlan was in contact with us quickly over the course of a year of planning and made sure everything was ready to go and made our wedding day truly incredible! Komlan is also the most outgoing person with the best personality! I would recommend them over and over!

  Best DJ around!

  Komlan & C'Est La Vie were a DREAM to work with! Komlan has DJ'd a few weddings we've been to, and since the first time I heard him, I knew we'd be booking him for our own wedding! We booked cocktail hour/dinner music, reception music, as well as up lighting, and were completely in love with all of it. The up lighting gave the room just that extra ambiance factor that made it feel like more of a party after a certain time in the night, and the music was the perfect mix. I stressed a little prior to the reception that parts of the older crowd wouldn't dance much if there wasn't enough music they could relate to, and Komlan didn't let me down! The dance floor was packed almost the whole night. He ran through our timeline with us the week prior, as well as the day of, and MC'd the reception with such a positive fun party attitude. Best DJ ever, I hope I attend another wedding that C'Est La Vie is a part of. Always a great party!

  It was an awesome experience working with these guys!

  Everyone we worked with turned out to be completely amazing. They were very accommodating with some last minute changes we made, and DJ Eric killed it on the day of. We communicated largely with Komlan as well, who was very kind and helpful. Overall they were very easy to work with, extremely kind, and good at what they do. 12/10 recommend!

  Our wedding Dj was amazing!

  Komlan was an amazing DJ and listened to all of our requests! The music was spot on and speeches were loud enough to be heard by everyone! He kept the party going so much so that everyone was sad when the wedding was over! Komlan is so incredible to work with, we highly recommend him!

  Wedding DJ and photobooth

  We would definitely recommend c’est la vie to DJ your wedding or event. We had them provide DJ, uplighting, and photobooth for our wedding and all services were awesome. Guests said the photobooth was a lot of fun and it was great having the photos to look at later as a keepsake. The photobooth attendant Valentine was lots of fun. Our DJ Komlan got everyone on the dance floor and the wedding was a blast because of it. Prior to the wedding, they were really good about communication and took time to make the music selection and announcements personable. Thank you c’est la vie! :)

  "most dancing in 8 years I've seen at the Madison Club"

  We had a difficult time making a decision about who would be our DJ based on the number of options and meetings with different DJ companies that we've had. All of them just did not feel like the right fit. Luckily we stumbled upon C'est la vie and right away we knew this was the company we wanted to go with. Our interactions with Komlan were prompt, positive, and professional; the DJ's that work for his company were of similar age to us (this was important to me but may not be to all), and their operations seemed like a well oiled machine. We were paired up with Bobby for our event, and the day went perfectly. Bobby hours earlier to ensure that set up and sound were working as intended, reviewed the itinerary with us and checked in periodically with us throughout the evening. The music was perfect and well tailored to our crowd, and had the dance floor packed all night long! The floor manager at the Madison Club told us that this was the most dancing he's ever seen for a wedding in the 8 years he had been there. I could not recommend a better team to work with, and am so grateful they were available for our wedding. Thank you so much Komlan and Bobby! We'll never forget you!

  Amazing DJ

  Komlan was absolutely amazing at our wedding! He was so communicative and kept our guests on the dance floor with a great variety of music. He was also very professional and very personable with all of our guests. He is the best DJ I have ever had the pleasure of seeing at any wedding. Absolutely recommend!

  We loved working with Komlan- he was very responsive via email leading up to our wedding and always answered all my questions well. He showed up extra early day-of to make sure everything was set up correctly. The music he chose was awesome and made everyone get on the dance floor- with songs everyone loves at first transitioning to songs for the younger crowd towards the end. We had multiple people tell us they'd never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding before! Komlan was also great as emcee throughout the reception. Would highly recommend to anyone getting married in the Madison area!!

  Loved Working with Komlan!

  We would hands down book C'est La Vie for another event. Kolman was incredibly prompt and professional throughout the entire planning process. Eric X was the DJ for our event and read the crowd well. He knows how to make it a party!

  Komlan was amazing! He was super responsive to my emails/calls throughout the process. He was very organized which made it so easy. We had the DJ service + uplighting and it was so worth it! The uplighting looked amazing and really set the mood. He was a great DJ and had songs that made all my guests be on the dance floor. I would HIGHLY recommend him, he was fantastic!

  Komlan was amazing! He was super responsive to my emails/calls throughout the process. He was very organized which made it so easy. We had the DJ service + uplighting and it was so worth it! The uplighting looked amazing and really set the mood. He was a great DJ and had songs that made all my guests be on the dance floor. I would HIGHLY recommend him, he was fantastic!

  Qualtity DJ With Exceptional Service

  Komlan & his team at C'est La Vie take the time from the planning phase to the day of the wedding. He makes sure that the event goes smoothly and is fun, professional, & laid back. In the early stages of planning & communications he provides worksheets that help dial in what kind of music you do / do not want the day of the wedding. We had our reception at a local country club and when we mentioned we had hired C'est La Vie. They were glad to hear as they know Komlan's level of professionalism and quality is top notch.

  Just good people!

  We were suppose to get married and have a big reception in October 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to cancel our big celebration. Despite canceling after the contracted refund date, Kolman and the team at C'est La Vie were compassionate and flexible and didn't require us to pay the rest of our balance. Throughout the entire experience Kolman was professional and a joy to work with. Frankly, we lost so much money by canceling our wedding, so it was so kind and helpful to not have to pay for DJ services we couldn't use. Thanks again Kolman and I hope people know that when you book with this company, you're working with real people who work to provide you with the best experience possible.
