    Wonderful wedding caterer!

    My husband and I hired Cabaki's Catering for our wedding last weekend and Stephanie and her team did an outstanding job! The food was SO GOOD and I heard nothing but great things from our guests. Our menu consisted of beef lasagna, oven roasted chicken, green beans and caramelized onions, roasted potatoes, a fall harvest salad and rolls. For our appetizers, we chose the teriyaki and BBQ meatballs as well as the spinach dip. My mouth is still watering! :)

    During the planning part, Stephanie was awesome to work with and took my novel long e-mail I sent her with details and ran with it! On the day of, we of course didn't attend our cocktail party because of photos and as soon as we sat down at the reception, she had a plate of food ready for us as well as some of our appetizers from the cocktail hour. Her staff went above and beyond and we are so grateful!

    Stephanie really works with people on their budget and we were so appreciative of that as catering is usually one of the largest expenses of a wedding. Thank you for making us so happy on our special day!

    Perfect catering and cake referral

    Our wedding catering was awesome and all the guests loved the southern flare buffet!
    Also, their cake partner - Sweet on Peyton was AMAZING. So yummy!

    She did such a great job catering our event! The food was excellent and she is a wonderful person to work with. I couldn't believe how affordable she was too! Highly recommend!

    While I'm happy to see that others have had good experiences with Cabaki's, unfortunately that was not the case for our daughter's wedding in April 2018. It's taken me awhile to cool off enough to even write a review.

    In short, Stephanie and her crew were very unprofessional. She constantly appeared stressed out (several of our guests even commented on this), running around shouting orders with sweat pouring down her face.

    The food was scarce and terrible. The hot food was cold and the ice cream for the peach cobbler was like soup.

    We lost a portion of our security deposit ($150) with the venue due to the fact that Stephanie and her crew were an hour late in getting out of the venue. Even with a late cleanup, I went to the venue the next day and picked up broken plates, beer cans, silverware and other items from the outdoor reception area. I'm sure I would have been charged even more had I not done that.

    She must not have known just how bad things went, because when I paid her the balance at the end of the evening, she actually asked me for tips for the servers and then asked me to write a good review. Well, here it is.

    We strive to give the very best we can to every event we cater. Your event was a very involved day. We had the wedding set up, dance floor set up, reception set up and building a gorgeous back drop. It was a stressful day with the major wind that we had to deal with. The table decorations kept falling over. We were trying our best to keep all the decorations and table set ups looking perfect.

    We were trying to leave on time, however, the guests were not wanting to leave. We worked around them and did the best we could on the schedule.

    We would like to offer our deepest apologies for the issues you stated. We work hard to devote attention to every client and every event.
