I absolutely loved The Cactus! It was the most magical and lovely experience. My wedding dreams and visions came true in all of it's unique and historic beauty!

We booked the top floor of the Cactus for a wedding rehearsal dinner. This historic building is a really cool venue, and the top floor offers great views of the city. We do not live in San Angelo, so we had to work with the building management staff remotely. We found them to be very responsive and pleasant to work with, going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love the Cactus Hotel! The ballroom is gorgeous and doesn't need much decorating. The Cactus manager, Kim, is wonderful and goes the extra mile for her customers. As a previous review below mentioned, one of the downsides is if you'd like alcohol at your event you have to go thru San Angelo Host events. They are awful. They communicate thru email. The price mark up for a "keg" is ridiculous and the workers were rude to the groom on his day.

The cactus hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding. The size was just perfect. Every person we worked with at the cactus was very helpful! Kim was great to work with.

I loved the Cactus Staff. They were the best ever. Mu only complaint is with the bar service that you must use when you rest out the cactus. San Angelo Host is hard to work with. They will not meet with you in person, do not return phone calls in a timely manor, and are extremely overpriced. The mark up is 3 to 4 times what you would regularly pay.

This venue was both beautiful and historic. They helped set up, tear down, and helped all throughout the day and night. I would do my wedding again through them. They were the best!

Kim Adair was wonderful to work with. She gave us all the information we needed to plan a successful Christmas Party. The room (Top of the Cactus) was ready for us when we arrived to decorate. The maintenance staff was there to assist in anything we needed from help carrying boxes to providing trashbags. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the scenery from the windows. Thanks to the staff, especially Kim, everything went smoothly. We hope to continue using The Cactus in the future for our events! Thanks

Everything at the Cactus Hotel was superb and the venue was great for our annual murder mystery fundraiser.

Kim was absolutely wonderful. We did have issues with the boiler going out but were given a discount. Security was also an issue because he stood at the bar counting drinks instead of doing the job he was supposed to be doing.
