Absolutely fabulous photographer - a great experience - and gorgeous photos!
We are thrilled we chose Caitlin as our photographer. Even in looking at her work, you can see how incredible talented she is! Working with her on our engagement photos and wedding photos was such a fun experience. There were a few shots we wanted that she really worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted. She's great at capturing the emotion of the moment. Looking through our wedding photos was like reliving the day and feeling all the things! We highly recommend Caitlin. You won't be disappointed! -

Authentic, Natural, Easy-Going
Caitlin was so wonderful for our destination wedding!! She has a calming and reassuring presence that is truly so great on the big day. I love how authentic and natural our photos came out, and I would 100% recommend her to anyone!!

The Best Photographer you will find!
Since I wasn't hiring a videographer for our wedding, I wanted to find a really great photographer. I found exactly that with Caitlin Steva Photography! Included in her package was a 1 hour engagement session, and those pictures were amazing and made us more excited to see the wedding pictures. We were even more impressed when we saw the high-quality prints when they came in. She was very fun to work with, and she was super flexible with COVID re-planning. We have approximately 1400 pictures from our wedding day. She captured every little moment and detail. She works well directing family photos and finding fun spots to take a romantic picture. I cannot recommend Caitlin enough! -

Caitlin was everything we expected and more. She was communicative, kind, flexible, and very professional. Honestly, she’s like a camera ninja - when looking at the final shots, my wife and I were trying to figure out how she got some of them. It was like she was in two places at once! My dad, who officiated the wedding, is a pastor, so he’s officiated dozens of weddings in his time. When we showed him the final album, he said that he thought Caitlin was the best he’d ever seen. I think I could say the same. We couldn’t be happier and we couldn’t recommend Caitlin more! -

Caitlin is literally the best EVER! She was recommended by a friend, so I checked out her website and loved her use of natural light, and also how she seemed to capture so many candid moments. It really makes you feel like you were at the wedding when you see her work! She first did our engagement photos and we had such a good time! She really makes you feel comfortable like you are just hanging out with a close friend. Then, due to covid we had to totally pivot on our wedding, and she was more than flexible, and captured our day PERFECTLY! I literally can’t say enough about her! Photos are everything when it comes to your wedding. You can’t go back and redo them, so make sure you get the right photographer, and that is Caitlin! We just received our album that we ordered today, along with some framed prints, and I could cry- I’m so happy! -

Caitlin was awesome. Having beautiful photos was a non-negotiable for us, and as soon as we found Caitlin, we knew she had to take our wedding photos! She was super easy to work with and friendly. I appreciated her ideas for locations for engagement photos and her overall timeliness. I can't recommend her enough, and I hope you are as lucky as we were to have her shoot our special day! -

Caitiln photographed our wedding in Jackson Hole, WY and knocked it out of the park. First, the communication leading up to our day was so thorough and easy--she was on top of everything!
When it came time for our day, Caitlin had an issue with some canceled flights which was stressful for all of us--but she handled it with so much grace and professionalism! She communicated to me without totally freaking me out about what was going on, was finding a backup option to photograph the first part of the day (getting ready) until she could get there, but ended up flying into a different airport, renting a car, and driving THROUGH THE NIGHT so she could not miss a moment. She photographed our wedding on pretty much no sleep and still crushed it!
Caitlin did an excellent job at directing us and our people as needed (firmly yet gently to the people who needed that--you know there are always those people). We felt TOTALLY comfortable with her and she made the day so easy and fun and was truly instrumental in keeping my stress at bay!
Of course, our photos were STUNNING and I loved looking through them over and over again, and I love having so many prints in our home! Thank you Caitlin for your dedication, talent, and kindness! -

A photographer friend in California who I adored could not shoot my wedding and I was pretty bummed about it. Finding a wedding photographer can feel like a very overwhelming daunting task in such a competitive market and so I pleaded my friend to please help me find a Nashville photographer who she approved of. She tapped into industry pages that she follows and miraculously found me the FABULOUS CAITLIN STVEA!!!!!!!!!! When I first reached out to Caitlin she was very quick to respond! She gave me her pricing and sent me a full gallery of a former bride so I could grasp the whole style of her work. I also looked at every single picture on her website and social media pages. I was ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY by her style and work. I looked at other cheaper photographers but they just did NOT give me the same feelings that Caitlin's pictures did. Caitlin's pictures captures a beauty, soul and intimate rawness that is hard to explain in words. Her pictures really touched my heart in every way! BUT I was also going to be way over budget with what I wanted to spend. And then a past bride friend told me this: "You get what you pay for! And the last thing you want to skimp on is the photographer! At the end of the day, no one will care about the food you served. But you will ALWAYS have the priceless pictures that live on forever!". And that's when it hit me and my decision became easy! When I decided on Caitlin I texted her and said that I HAD TO HAVE HER! She was about to catch a flight out of the country! She quickly sent me her user friendly website link so that I could pay my deposit to reserve my date! Throughout the year I made a few payments so it didn't feel as badly financially. Overall, choosing Caitlin was the BEST DECISION I MADE FOR MY WHOLE WEDDING! We had a very thorough engagement picture session at Shelby Park in East Nashville (September 2018). We were nervous because we had never shown our love in front of a close camera but she made us feel very comfortable and we all laughed alot! A few weeks later she sent me a link to download any web sized and hi resolution photos. From that time up until the wedding in June 2019, Caitlin was always available and was great at letting me bug her with all my crazy bride planning questions! About 1 month from the wedding date she sent me a questionnaire for the day of to make sure we were on the same page with the timeline, all the pictures to be captured and this was really helpful! As we started getting down to the wire and getting stressed with very detailed logistics Caitlin was: PATIENT, FLEXIBLE, CREATIVE, CAREFREE AND PROFESSIONAL and she very much displayed all of that on my wedding day too!!!! As we said our vows, black clouds were moving in towards us and the ceremony had to be rushed a little. Luckily we made it down the aisle just in time! Right before the rain hit Caitlin saw a dramatic and fun opportunity...she directed my husband to pick me up and spin me around (bouquet in hand) underneath the black cloud! This picture turned out amazing and everyone has told me it's magazine worthy! The storm then took out the power....but she kept shooting! She got the funniest shots of the groomsmen running in the rain and their formal shots being soaking wet are unlike most traditional shots. Some of our timeline got thrown off with the storm and that is going to happen when you have an ALL outdoors wedding. Caitlin was our rock through it all and looking back it ended up being an "imperfectly perfect" unforgettable day with the most priceless dramatic pictures to last our whole lives! A few weeks later we got the much anticipated link (private or shareable w/guests) to download any web sized and hi resolution photos. Caitlin then puts the cherry on top by mailing us a glass engraved and gold USB in a nice case with all the pictures. From the very beginning to the very end Caitlin has also had CLASS & PROFESSIONALISM and this is why she ROCKS at what she does traveling the world doing what she loves! And as we hit milestone anniversaries in the future I will call Caitlin again to capture away. She has also inspired me to start my own business soon too. I hope this review is helpful and you book her NOW before it's too late!!!!!! You will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! -

After my original photographer that I had booked had to cancel on me, this type A bride-zilla was a MESS. However, she highly recommended Caitlin to me. After only a few seconds of browsing Caitlin's photos, I was automatically sold. Her style was EXACTLY what I was looking for to capture my wedding day. The pictures did not seem forced, but rather sincere and authentic. I could feel the feeeeeels in each and every photo. Furthermore, Caitlin was such a gem to work with. She is super down to earth and will embrace any and all awkwardness and turn it into magic. Caitlin was everything I had hope for in a wedding photographer and more!!! Not only was she incredibly sweet and kind she went up above and beyond to capture everything we wanted. She was incredibly helpful in the wedding planning process in answering questions and assisting with a timeline. Her adventureous spirit was right in line the type of photos we wanted. Looking back through her photos of the big day, what Caitlin captured makes our wedding appear even more beautiful than I can remember. Her turn around time on both my engagement photos and wedding photos was much faster than i anticipated and i believe a lot quicker than other photographers in the industry! Caitlin was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding! She was very quick with responses and her turnaround time was perfect. She did such a wonderful job capturing our wedding and telling the story! The images are better than I could have ever expected and we get so many compliments on them! Every time I look at them, I love them more and more and mooooore. I smile when I look through them, because I'm actually reliving my wedding day through these photos; which is why I hired a photographer like Caitlin. She was on time, enthusiastic, and just flat out amazing. My husband and I are so awkward in front of the camera, but Caitlin knew what to do with us and we are having such a hard time picking out images for an album! Caitlin captured our engagement and wedding so perfectly! Her catalog of photos speak for themselves, but Caitlin is also a great person to be around! We had a great time getting to know Caitlin during our engagement session and she made us feel so comfortable being behind the camera before our big day. Her photos truly showcased my husband and I for who we are and documented all of the fun that was had at our wedding! LKAJNWERFOAUWNG where to start.. Caitlin is just simply amazing. Everything from the get-go with her was so much fun and we connected so easily. She genuinely cares about each and every client and makes you feel SO dang good in front of the camera. My husband and I had Caitlin for our engagements & wedding day and to say she blew us away would be an understatement. I still go back through our entire wedding gallery like once a month just reminisce on everything. I would 100% recommend her for all of your photography needs. She is incredible and TRULY puts her heart into what she does.

Hands down, Caitlin was the best decision we could have possibly made when choosing our wedding photographer. She went above and beyond to capture the most amazing images from our engagement shoot to our wedding day. She has a love for people, nature, and photography and it shows through her incredible work. Sarah Sent on 06/01/2018I cannot say enough amazing things about Caitlin! The one word I heard over and over again for both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures from friends and family was STUNNING. For our engagement pictures there was torrential downpour in the forecast and when I asked for her advice Caitlin said we could reschedule, or just plan on getting wet. It was that little nudge towards just embracing spontaneity and something different that was such a God send, both for those pictures and for the entire wedding planning process. The result was some of the most gorgeous and dramatic engagement pictures I'd ever seen, and Caitlin did such an amazing job of capturing our dynamic! On the day of the wedding things also started out rainy but knowing how well Caitlin did in the rain during our engagement pics I wasn't worried a bit.. we just got our full gallery back a couple days ago (such a quick turnaround!!) and I have already looked through it several times. There are so many joyful little moments, both between my husband and I, but also us with our friends and family, and our guests enjoying each others' company. It's all so perfect and a beautiful way to re-live our wedding day. I cannot wait to book Caitlin again for portrait sessions for other big life events in the future!
