  I am literally obsessed with my cake. I got married last weekend and I am staring at my topper thinking of just eating it now. We had apple spice cake (with chunks of real apple!) and I will be ordering it for each and every event in my life. It. Was. That. Good.

  Jessica was great and the cake was amazing. Not only was it gorgeous, it tasted delicious. From the one bite I had during the cake cutting, it was so good (cause as a married couple, there is no time to eat at the wedding). It was so good, the guests ate it all and the caterer forgot to leave the topper for my husband and I to share later :) And that's a good problem to have. I can't wait to reach out to Jessica again for any of my future cake needs, especially an anniversary cake :)

  Jessica is awesome! She was so professional and her cake was great! The special frosting she makes in unlike anything I've ever tried. We couldn't get enough at our tasting.
  
  I asked her at the last minute if she was able to add little kitty figurines to our wedding cake and she didn't hesitate for a second! They were so cute and I'm happy that she helped me include our furry friends in our wedding in the smallest, sweetest way possible! (She didn't look at me like I was crazy either, haha!) ;)
  
  Jessica told us she's in the process of setting up her own shop downtown and we can't wait to go visit her for more treats!

  Absolutely perfect cake! It is rare to find a cake that both looks and taste amazing and that is exactly what we got. Frankly, the cake exceeded our expectations of what a wedding cake could look like. Thanks Jessica-- you are awesome!

  Jessica's cake was the most delicious cake we ever had. This was agreed by all our wedding guests. From the start, Jessica was a pleasure to work with. She had such a nice tasting cake selection for us to try. We even got to taste her buttercream frosting which is made with real butter. It was incredible. She accommodated all our design desires and was thorough in her questions to take our order. She was also prompt in her delivery of the cake. We appreciate her professionalism and genuine concern for her clients in making her cake the best for the event.

  Jessica was awesome! She was so sweet when we went to meet her and do a taste testing! All of the cakes she let us try were delicious! The cake the day of the wedding was phenomenal! The only thing I wish, was that I had her do the flowers on the cake instead of the florist. since it probably would have turned out better doing it that way since she is so talented. I would recommend you use her for your cake needs!

  Jessica is a God given gift for the cake industry. I was fed up with finding a cake bakery to make my son's 1st birthday cake as I was so picky on it. Soon after I showed the foto of the cake that I wanted, I was so impressed with her explanation that she could make the cake as exactly I expected. When I saw the cake, she just blew my mind. It was incredibly amazing, it tasted delicious, it was exactly the cake that I expected. She was so easy to work with and I feel I was so lucky to work with her.!!

  Jessica did an amazing job. She was friendly and easy to work with. Her cake tasted excellent and looked just exactly how I had pictured it. :) We will use her for all our cakes we need in the future!!! The carrot cake was out of this world. Amazing! :)

  Jessica was the PERFECT choice for our wedding cake needs. The groom's cake definitely exceeded my expectations. It was a record player cake with a record on top showcasing our first dance song. It also had edible headphones! Plus, it was the best cake I (and many others at our rehearsal dinner) had eaten: her chocolate monkey cake of banana, chocolate, and peanut butter. My mouth is watering just thinking about it right now! She is so, so talented. The wedding cake and cupcakes were exactly what I wanted, too - whimsical, nature inspired, and delicious. Thanks so much, Jessica! I will be recommending you to anyone seeking cake needs. : )

As a person who really doesn't like cake this was the one thing I was not looking forward to doing so after three other tastings we came to cake ambition, not only is her cake amazing but she was very sweet and helpful on figuring out exactly what we wanted. We didn't want anything to extravagant but she has her way of making everything look beautiful and if you want extravagant she can do that. The flavor was so good we had guests asking us if we had left overs for days after the wedding. Once you go to cake ambition you'll never want to eat cake from anywhere else!!

We met with her and my now husband told her exactly what he had in mind for the wedding cake. he was very impressed with how she described she could make the cake with real cream and fresh fruit filling.   My husaband and I had out baker fall through at the last minute. We contacted Jessica at Cake Ambition and she created 6 small cakes for a wedding up north. Not only did she save us but she made wonderful cakes! She responded to every e-mail I sent her in a timely manner and was able to accomidate our last minute requests!

  Jessica was wonderful and took all out ideas and designed out dream wedding cake. In addition she designed a "Mad Hatter" grooms cake for my husband which was a huge hit.

  Cakes by Jessica Bourne, was the BEST thing i did for my daughter's FALLON'S shower and wedding. Everything was great, looked and tasted great, and to this day i use Jessica to create all deserts for us.

  Cake Ambition was one of three bakers we talked to. From the moment I tried the first piece, I knew we would be working with Jessica. Her cakes are soft, moist and flavorful and her fondant isn't chewy, the ingredients she sources and uses all contribute to a really high level of delicious desserts. I was looking for someone that wanted to give us ideas and work with our inspiration, and Jessica was so excited about all the different photos I brought and contributed some new ideas of her own. If you look at her photos on Facebook, you can tell she is a real cake artist. Our cake turned out 100% as I had imagined it, we also got cupcakes and she was very flexible up until the end about changing the totals. Cake Ambition is a small business in Detroit, for how talented they are, they are very humble and very personal. The only tiny, small thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars was that the day before the wedding they had a baking snafu and accidentally made my cupcakes the cake flavor and the cake the cupcake flavor, they had called to ask me if that was okay or if I wanted it fixed. Being the bride, and being in the middle of my rehearsal, it added a lot of extra stress that could have easily been prevented if they had just corrected the order without feeling the need to check-in with me. I love Cake Ambition so much, that I wanted to explain why one little star was missing. Cake Ambition is a growing company, and sometimes with growth you can have little hiccups. The day of our wedding the cake was prefect,the cupcakes were perfect and you would have never know there was a snafu at all! I would recommend her over any other cake baker to anyone!
