Love the outdoors? Glamping? Supporting girls? Cedar Hill's the one!!
Cedar Hill is a beautiful venue and Heather was fantastic to work with. We planned our wedding here for spring 2020, but unfortunately had to postpone due to Covid. Heather was organized, accommodating, professional through the entire process (even when we had to cancel). She sent us lists of suggested vendors and made time for my parents and us to have two tours, during which she pointed out recent improvements to the grounds and offered plenty of tips about which spaces we might want to use. The pricing was reasonable for the amount of private space and lodgings we had access to, and we were glad to be supporting the Girl Scouts. Working with Heather made the planning on our side much easier - exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for!Cedar Hill is a beautiful venue and Heather was fantastic to work with. Thank you Alma, it was a pleasure getting to know you and your family! I'm so sorry that Covid got in the way of your plans. -

Cedar Hill + Heather = Amazing Experience!
My now-husband and I toured Cedar Hill on the coldest day in January 2020. We knew both the venue and Heather were amazing in that we took the full tour outside and stayed on to revisit our favorite spots and talk about how we could see our reception there. Heather was so great about answering questions and offering advice that we very quickly booked Cedar Hill.
The venue was so perfect for us that in no time we had the whole reception booked with plans for hors devours and lawn games at the pavilion and live music at the beautiful, historical amphitheater followed by dinner and dancing in the Great Hall, which is such an amazing space on its own. We, along with all of our vendors and guests were so excited, knowing how magical it all was going to be. Oh, and I can’t forget the fire pit and Adirondack chairs outside the Great Hall that we were going to use for S’mores. :)
Unfortunately, COVID cancelled our plans for a July wedding and reception with all of our family and friends. We were so sad to give up our wonderful plans, but Heather made the cancellation as painless as possible. We went ahead and got married and celebrated just the two of us, but we definitely hope to use Cedar Hill for a different event or celebration down the road. I truly cannot say enough good things about the venue and Heather. Anyone lucky enough to get married or have a reception/event here will have a truly wonderful experience.
When you decide to book, Heather will give you a list of hotels and vendors, all of whom she can speak about personally. Should it be helpful, we were excited to go with Hyatt House for the hotel for our guests and Calla Catering, both from Heather’s list. We booked (and were thrilled that we still got to use) Nate Photography to capture our special day. Lastly, I strongly recommend Scottish Fish for live music lovers out there who are looking for a fiddle and cello group who can play traditional and contemporary Scottish and Cape Breton music. They are a hit wherever they play!
But beyond our vision for our day, Cedar Hill can be as glammed up or made as comfortable as you like. The options are amazing from all the various outdoor spaces to the beautifully modernized Great Hall. This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking for unique indoor/outdoor options in the Boston area.

So thankful to Heather!
We have had an excellent experience with Cedar Hill. Heather is a dream to work with and very understanding and helpful when we ended up having to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. The grounds are beautiful for any vibe of wedding celebration you might be considering, and in a convenient location near many hotels. It was also one of the places we visited that were most able to accommodate the more unique needs of our Indian ceremony, including being able to use a fire and accommodate a large wedding party. You've got a friend in the GSA!
Working with camp cedar hill has been a very enjoyable experience, even during COVID time. They offer many options for indoor/outdoor spaces, and have strong relationships with local hotels and caterers. Heather has been so helpful and flexible (we've had to reschedule our event twice due to state restrictions). She really gets to know you and works to meet your needs. Very open to non-traditional wedding options and very LGBTQ friendly! We are happy our money is going to the GSA and definitely would recommend 10/10.Working with camp cedar hill has been a very enjoyable experience, even during COVID time. Excellent experience!
I've been working with Camp Cedar Hill for 3 years and have always had a wonderful experience. Easy to work with and get along with, accommodating, and the venue is both historic and rustic. The grounds are beautiful and it really is a little piece of country within the city. I highly recommend Camp Cedar Hill!I've been working with Camp Cedar Hill for 3 years and have always had a wonderful experience.
