Nancy, Kathy, and Carl helped make our wedding such a success! They have the most amazing property and has wonderful suggestions for vendors who often do weddings there. Before our wedding, they helped answer all the questions we had and made sure our wedding was beautiful and a huge success. It was such an amazing day!!

I don't even know what to say... Candlelight is a dream come true!! My wedding was magical, stunning, and stress free. Nancy and Carl own a gorgeous farm and the Hanger was exactly what I always pictured my wedding reception to look like. Nancy helped me throughout the process by giving me suggestions for vendors and always answered any questions I had. I am so sad my wedding is over but I am blessed and grateful for everything Nancy did to make it absolutely incredible.

Candlelight Farms was the perfect venue for our June wedding. Even before the weekend, Nancy and Kathy were extremely helpful to make sure everything was organized and ready to go for our wedding day. All of the bridesmaids had a delicious breakfast at the Inn while doing hair and makeup and Nancy was extremely accommodating in getting anything and everything we needed! The views and the ambiance at the Farm are absolutely stunning and we couldn’t have asked for a better backdrop for our day. The large property can be used in many different ways - we had the groomsmen get ready in the Clubhouse and also hosted our after party there to wrap up the night with some s’mores by the fire pit outside. We highly recommend Candlelight Farms for your perfect wedding weekend and we couldn’t have imagined getting married anywhere else! We’ll definitely be back to the Inn to celebrate many anniversaries.

Quite simply, our wedding on 5/28/23 at Candlelight Farms was the absolute best day of our lives! From the moment we stepped foot onto the farm on our first visit to the venue visits and final walkthrough to the wedding day and the post-wedding clean up, the team at Candlelight Farms has been beyond generous and helpful, but also so loving and invested in our day. Their coordination and communication with us and vendors made the day seamless. We had gorgeous weather and the farm venue was just magical - flowers blooming, beautifully maintained grounds, and every special little touch that the farm brings. To be able to get ready with all of my girls in the inn and celebrate the whole day away, made it an all inclusive experience. I would get married here every weekend if I could!

I don’t even know where to start when describing Candlelight Farms Inn. The farm is beautiful and the location is incredible! Nancy was beyond amazing to work with! She made me feel so special on my big day! We started out our weekend in the lower barn for rehearsal dinner and it was decorated perfectly. My bridesmaids and I and the moms all stayed at the inn over night before my wedding day. The rooms were clean and cozy, we woke up and had breakfast waiting for us. I loved waking up feeling like I was at home rather then in a hotel room. Hair and makeup we’re able to come right to us in the morning and we never felt rushed. We used both locations of the farm for our wedding day, the gardens behind the inn for or ceremony and cocktail hour, the views were stunning! And we used the hangar for our reception. The hangar was so beautifully decorated, it was the fun, country, rustic atmosphere that was exactly what we were looking for. I can’t thank nancy and her husband Carl and their team enough for everything they did for us on our big day! My day was truly perfect and was everything I wanted it to be!

Nancy was just simply the best!!!! The hangar was gorgeous everyone is still talking about it!!! She did a great job everything exceeded my expectations. Absolutely beautiful!!!

The farm is absolutely stunning! We rented the farm portion of the venue, there is also the hangar portion as well. Nancy showed us around, and it was the first time seeing a venue, and we knew it would not get better than this. The views and landscape is unbelievable, captivating, and there's an area for bridesmaid and groomsmen to get ready on site. We got married between the 2 birch trees, Nancy is so helpful, sweet, attentive, and gets back to you with any questions, and allays your anxiety on your big day. We used the deck for cocktail hour, and put a sailcloth tent next to the deck, so people could go in and out if they get cold. It was the most magical day, and everyone could not stop telling us what an incredibly beautiful venue Candlelight Farms Inn is. Every picture you take there is instagram-worthy, there's just too many places to take photos. Thank you everyone at Candlelight Farms Inn for making my dream wedding come true. I love you all, and will have to come back and visit for a picnic!

Nancy, Kathy, and Carl were nothing short of amazing! From the minute we booked the venue to our final goodbyes, they were so easy to work with. Kathy was always quick to respond. Nancy was warm and inviting. Carl was just so sweet! Overall the perfect venue for our dream wedding.

Carl and Nancy are by far the best! Nancy helped from the day I chose the Hangar for my wedding...gave me a list of vendors, showed us her Pinterest room for decor, assisted with my flowers, she literally gave us all she had! Nancy is an amazing person with a huge heart! Carl helped us with the placing of vendors/ideas as well as running us through our rehearsal. These two are to be remembered forever. And Diana assisted with all the “minor” details and putting my flower arrangements and bouquets together! Highly recommend them and their beautiful farm!!

The Hanger is the perfect outdoor venue. It was more magical than I could have imagined. Nancy and Carl amazing and have the day down to a science. We enjoyed every moment and the property is breath taking. We also stayed at the inn the night of the wedding. I have to say waking up at the inn and looking at the field an the fog is a perfect way to enjoy the morning coffee. Don't hesitate and book your wedding today !!

This review took up a lot of time in my mind over the last several months leading up to my wedding this past September 16, 2017. I couldn't wait to get home from our honeymoon yesterday to write a review. From the time I was a young little girl, I DREAMED of having a rustic barn wedding. A beautiful landscape with lots of greenery and flowers. My husband and I only looked at a few venues that matched this description because of my expectations and my vision. When I drove up to Candlelight Farms, my mind went to my Pinterest page, my dreams. To make the beauty of the venue itself better, Nancy is a beautiful soul both inside and out. Carl and her, as well as all other workers who help them, work diligently together to keep the place beautiful, and ready for weddings. Birch trees in front of a ground of trees overlooking a small peeking eye view of the lake help to make the ceremony an even more memorable experience. Any question, fear or concern I had (my husband seemed to be more calm), Nancy was emailing or calling me within mere minutes to calm my fears. The details ran smooth with Nancy, who gladly helped any way she could. Up until the big day, I felt comfortable emailing Nancy at any given point and she gladly helped. The day of, she went above and beyond to keep my nerves at bay, give me glimpses of what the decorations looked like, and she was there every step of the way. She also added special details completely on her own much to our surprise. Candlelight farms is the utmost most beautiful scenery, most welcoming family and most memorable place to hold any rustic wedding, or any wedding where a couple is looking to have a beautiful wedding with warm company to help plan. Nancy has become like a second mother to me, and still only a month later, I often think about how grateful I am that picking a wedding venue allowed for people like Carl and herself to be a part of mine and my husband's journey.
You won't be disappointed.

It is impossible to overstate just how amazing my experience with Candlelight Farms was. From the moment my husband and I arrived to view the property we felt welcome, and awed by the beauty! The day was absolutely perfect, and Nancy was a huge help from the day we booked the space. She is extremely responsive to email, and was able to answer all of my questions and meet every request. While the wedding was this past weekend, we are still getting texts and emails from friends and family members letting us know what a wonderful day it was. If you want to have the wedding of your dreams, Candlelight Farms Inn is the place for you!

Our daughter was married on a beautiful October 2016 day at the most wonderful outdoor wedding we could imagine. The leaves were at peak colors and the setting allows you to take full advantage of all that Connecticut can offer. The bridal party got ready in the inn and cottage while guests mingled on the manicured and flowered grounds and even played lawn games. The ceremony was in the birch grove overlooking a scene. The cocktail party was outside in the gardens - all in full autumn bloom. The reception for ~140 was under the tent and overlooking the beautiful scenery. All said, everything was just perfect. We worked with Nancy from day one and there isn't anything we needed or asked that she wasn't able to make it happen. She even directed the rehearsal practice - which was very much needed! And through it all, it was like Nancy was our best friend or aunt or sister who was as excited as we and wanted to make sure it was right.

After getting engaged, we obviously started looking for venues. The first place that we looked at was Candlelight Farms Inn. We went up to look at the venue in March the year prior while everything was brown and snow still on the ground, yet the presence and the views alone sold us. Working with Nancy was just amazing, she was very attentive and responsive in emails anytime we contacted her. She made the planning of the entire wedding seamless. We also opted to have our rehearsal dinner at the Inn the night before so that we all knew exactly where we needed to be and when. The morning of the wedding I was able to get ready at the Inn with my bridal party, she was there to check in at every point and she directed all the other vendors to where they needed to be and helped with anything, and I mean anything needed! The morning after the wedding she had breakfast and coffee all ready for the guests at the Inn which was just the icing on the cake for us. If you’re looking for a place with a vintage, yet rustic elegant feel, this the place to hold your wedding. Its breathtaking views made for some remarkable pictures. We couldn’t have been happier

This was absolutely the most beautiful venue I had looked at. My husband and I actually booked a different venue but had a not-so-pleasant experience with the coordinator and visited Nancy and Candlelight Farns in December, with no flowers bloomed or anything, and we're still SO blown away with the beauty. I don't even have words to express how beautiful the space was in August for our wedding. Nancy was such a dream to work with through this process, and was so helpful. I am so glad that we found this beautiful gem!

We loved the Hangar! So glad there is a new space in Connecticut that is unique and different! The planes taking off and landing during the wedding, is probably one of the coolest things EVER! There is truly nothing like this in CT! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something unique and different.

Our wedding couldn't have gone any smoother! Beautiful venue, great staff! Nancy was so flexible and helped so much during the process. She was so easy to talk to and really cared about making our wedding day special. I couldn't have pictured our special day anywhere else. It truly is gorgeous location with so much to offer. It's the perfect venue! Even to this day everyone still talks about how amazing the wedding was! The Candlelight Farms Inn deserves more than 5 stars.

Candlelight Farms Inn was the perfect venue for our outdoor September wedding! The grounds are beautiful- picture rollings hills of lush green grass, with flowers planted throughout, and a views of a picturesque lake. All of our guests couldn't stop remarking on how lovely the venue was. Nancy was a pleasure to work with and really went above and beyond to ensure that our day went as smoothly as possible. If you want a serene, romantic backdrop for your big day, look no further than Candlelight Farms Inn.

My husband and I had our wedding at Candelight Farms in July of this year (2015). While on our honeymoon, we constantly reflected on our wedding weekend as the best weekend of our lives! Candlelight Farms is, in our opinion, the most beautiful wedding venue on earth! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking- so beautiful, in fact, that decorations are hardly needed. The gardens, lake, and beautiful barns make for the perfect rustic, farm-feel wedding. I love to craft and DIY- another reason the farm was perfect! I had plenty of space to add little personal touches to make the venue feel like “us.” On the day of our wedding, our guests commented that the venue was the most stunning they had ever seen. Aside from the beauty of the farm, Nancy, the owner is WONDERFUL. Within 10 minutes of meeting her, I knew that I wanted to work with her. Her warm personality, timely communication, advice, experience, and love for what she does are just a few of the things that I came to love about her! Prior to our wedding, Nancy and I would e-mail on a consistent basis- I always felt like my questions were answered promptly and in detail. As the wedding drew closer, we decided to have our rehearsal dinner in one of the barn at the farm (why would we have it anywhere else?!). Nancy helped to organize and decorate for the dinner! She also helped to run the rehearsal which was so comforting. On the day of the wedding, Nancy helped wherever she was needed! She has a way of knowing what needs to be done without even having to ask. In closing, my husband and I have the warmest memories of Candlelight Farms and we look forward to having anniversary parties and other events there in the years to come!!!

Nancy at Candlelight was so helpful right from the start. The venue is absolutely beautiful and everything we dream of for our dream wedding that became a reality! Candlelight Farms was perfect for what we were looking for only ended up looking at one venue and could not leave until we picked a date!!! So happy with getting married at Candlelight and with Nancy's help she made it possible!

My husband and I just had our outdoor wedding on September 20th and we couldn't be happier with our choice of the venue. IT IS GORGEOUS! The views are seriously breathtaking. Everyone kept telling me how perfect of a day and place it was!

We had our ceremony in front of the birch trees and then our cocktail hour in the lower barn, followed by our reception under a beautiful tent. Nancy has been such a pleasure to work with from the moment we booked the venue, through the countless emails we had about small details of planning our wedding over a year, to the days leading to the big day. She helped us coordinate our rehearsal on the grounds and was even hands on with helping my mother and I decorate and get our flowers together the morning of. All of her recommendations for the food and rental vendors were superb!

On behalf of my husband, my family and all my friends and me, we just want to thank Nancy and everyone at Candlelight Farms Inn for such a wonderful wedding. We couldn't be happier. Thank You!!!

I can't even begin to say how pleased we were with our wedding at Candlelight Farms. Nancy is amazing and makes sure all of the events are looked after and guests are comfortable and happy. I can not thank her enough!! It was a perfect fall day and the farm was so incredibly beautiful!!!

Just wanted to express my complete gratitude to Nancy and Candlelight Farms Inn. My wedding was just breath taking. My husband and I couldn't have found a better place to have our wedding.
