  Couldn't have asked for a better wedding!

  I had my dream wedding here! Where do I even start…
  
  My fiancé (now husband) and I wanted a hotel venue for our wedding – one that was modern, sophisticated, beautiful, and clean. The moment we walked in the Canopy we knew this was the right place. On top of that, we loved the food menu for the reception. The planning process was very smooth. We worked with Karina and Martin to go over the details of the reception – from the food, to schedule, hotel rooms, etc. They were such a pleasure to work with from the start to the execution of the event. Everything on the day of the wedding went seamlessly. The space was gorgeous, great drinks, and the food was absolutely delicious. Our guests still talk about the food and how it’s the best food they had at a wedding. Last, but certainly not least, the staff at the Canopy were so nice, friendly, and helpful. Our guests really appreciated how nice the whole staff was! I am so thankful and happy to have had my wedding here.

  Karina Egidio is Amazing to Work With!

  I had a contract with Lokal Eatery by the waterfront in Jersey City, but they had issues and literally canceled on me 3 weeks before my surprise proposal. I was stressing out. Luckily, I came across Canopy JC and connected with Karina Egidio, who was the event coordinator at Canopy JC. She was amazing! She displayed a high level of professionalism and overall had a genuinely optimistic, comforting personality that allowed me to feel relaxed and blessed to have found her. She explained what can be offered at Canopy JC and even accommodated my many requests such as timing, headcount, bar packages, etc. She was even present on the night of the event to help prepare and guide my family and friends that were waiting for me and my fiance to arrive! I wish I found her sooner because then I would've been able to tell any guy that finding a venue and planning a surprise proposal is the easiest thing to plan for in the world. Thank you so much, Karina and Canopy JC, for guiding and supporting me through the planning and coordinating of my surprise proposal - it was truly a beautiful night!

  Overall Amazing

  We want to thank the team at Canopy Hilton for being so wonderful and pulling this beautiful small wedding/ virtual Zoom ceremony together despite the time constraint and challenging times we are facing today due to COVID-19. We wouldn’t have had it any other way !
  Everything went so smoothly and flawlessly from booking the venue, to planning out the ceremony and giving their wonderful suggestions and attentiveness was just beyond excellent.
  Very professional team and responsive.
  We would like to give a special thank you to Karina Edigio, our sales manager who made all of this possible. Sietse, who took care of us during the ceremony and dinner and the amazing chef, Fays for cooking such a delicious menu for us !
  Rob, thank you for helping us with our technical issues as well.

  Perfect Birthday Celebration

  It's easy to see from the photos of the hotel that their spaces are beautiful and the terrace is no exception. Everything is neat, clean, and well kept, and it feels extremely intimate and private above the busy streets below. My review, though, is really about the responsiveness and flexibility of the team. I worked with Karina who was amazing. She emailed back and forth with me almost everyday to arrange an event plan for my birthday that worked for my group (and budget!) and offered flexibility given COVID and weather concerns (the terrace is uncovered). Luckily, I was able to celebrate my birthday as planned, with enough room on the terrace to remain separate from other diners and give my group of 11 some space to social distance from one another. Karina sectioned off my space with a velvet rope, a happy birthday sign, and a balloon! It was a nice celebratory touch and made me feel welcome. The cocktails were yummy (they are not speakeasy strength if that is what you are looking for, though), and Rob was great about making sure my guests had everything they needed. We couldn't decide which cocktails we wanted (so many options!) and he answered all our questions and had great recommendations! I was most surprised by the food (appetizer style). It was really good and felt substantial. Perfect for munching throughout the night. The crab cakes and panini were big hits. We also loved the tomato mozzarella flatbread! The team also worked behind the scenes with my husband to hold on to a cake he ordered and helped him surprise me near the end of the night! I'm so happy to have a beautiful hotel like this, with beautiful outdoor event space, in my neighborhood!
