    Excellent experience

    We hired Capital Events for our wedding and it was an excellent choice. We held the ceremony and reception in the pasture of the groom’s parents’ house so we had to rent everything a typical venue would have offered. The biggest endeavor they undertook for us was building an entire floor structure under our 40x80 tent. When I arrived to see it after work we were disappointed to see that the dance floor area was pretty dramatically sloped/bumpy. We called them and they met with us first thing the next morning to come up with a game plan for how to fix it. By midday they had leveled and rebuilt that area and it was perfect. Talk about OUTSTANDING customer service!!! Also, big shoutout to Brittany for helping us design the inside of the tent and problem solving little things that came up in the process. She was so quick to respond and helped make this DIY wedding run so smoothly!! Everything turned out beautifully and we couldn’t be more grateful to them!!

    Hire them for your tenting needs!

    We reached out to Capital Events a few months in advance to our wedding after we realized it was going to be a smart decision for us to have a tent. Their policies were incredibly flexible and they had fair pricing in comparison to the other tent companies we spoke with. For example, they allowed us to come to a decision fairly last minute in the days leading up to the event. We had a Spring wedding, so we knew the weather could be unpredictable! The clear tent was gorgeous, we enclosed it halfway as it could get chilly at night. They went out of their way to meet our needs and ensure it was exactly what we wanted! I would recommend not only them as a company to work with for your tenting needs, but their team of people were professional and accommodating (thank you, Meredith!).

    We used Grand Rental for chairs, table linens, cocktail tables, and drinking glasses. It was easy to set things up over email and phone (we were out of the country when making arrangements), and everyone there was very responsive. They even helped to set our chairs up at the ceremony venue. Great value and I would definitely recommend them.

    James saved us from a very unpleasant and terrible experience with another rental vendor from Durham. He was professional and took such great care of us for our wedding. Through the entire experience, he was helpful and provided excellent guidance and recommendations. We were beyond grateful for using Grand Rental! The clear tent and market string lights were the perfect combination. Thank you!

    We worked with the Capital Events location in Cary for the purpose of renting LED uplights (uplight, 10 cube light kit) for our wedding. I called and left a message during off-hours and promptly received a return call the next day to review pricing options, quantities, details of the light operations, etc. They were very helpful and I ended up reserving 11 lights that day. We chose to pick up (vs. delivery) and were able to pick up on a Friday before a Saturday wedding and dropped back off in Cary on Monday for the rental price. Everything was in pristine condition and came in a convenient carrying case with charging cables. Only complaint was the missing “IR remote” that is stated as part of the package online – but not a huge deal, we just setup the lights to the color we wanted before placing them around the room. Everything else stated on the site about this kit was true, plenty of battery time, very strong lighting, no noise, and no flicker in videos. I was very pleased with the lights and overall service; additionally, they had the best price in Raleigh based on the hours of research that I did (since this was more of a nice-to-have that I was splurging on).

    We worked with Grand Rental Station in Cary and couldn't have been happier with our choice for our wedding tent, place settings and linen. We had an outdoor wedding for 100 people and they gave us great advice for different options. We even rented a popcorn machine that was very popular with the kids at our wedding. We visited the storefront several times to revisit things and we always received prompt and professional attention. The onsite set-up staff were great in set-up and tear-down. We would highly recommend Grand Rental.

    We rented our tent, tables, chairs, linens, and place settings from Grand Rental Station. They helped us with tent layout, and responded quickly to our emails and phone calls. Everything was delivered on time.

    I cannot stress enough how AWESOME AND HELPFUL this vendor was. In the sea of all the vendors used, it feels like a juggling act to make sure everything goes as planned. But Capital Events/Grand Rental Station took the reins and helped create a logical rental plan that stayed within my budget. And I loved that they didn't push anything that wasn't necessary but also didn't leave us hanging. The event was beautifully laid out. Jim was incredibly accommodating especially on some last minute changes and the delivery was on time, so polite, quick, and they did more to help set up then I expected. My advice, go with this company and trust their judgement! You won't be disappointed!

    I worked with Adam at Grand Rental Station for my wedding rentals and loved the experience. I had gone to one other rental place that had an incredible selection of linens, but very little in anything else. When they couldn't give me a tent rental estimate right away because they had to call "their other vendor," I researched to find out who that vendor was and found GRS! Since I bought my linens online, they were the perfect answer to my rental needs. I visited the Raleigh office first, where the guys were extremely helpful in looking at tents (and saved me over $500 by figuring out I could go down two sizes for how many tables I wanted), then went to the Cary office to look at the rest of the equipment. Adam was so sweet to give me run of the store, and let me arrange everything and take pictures of anything I wanted. We figured out the whole thing right there, and it was done! I didn't have to worry about it until about two weeks before the wedding, when we decided to also have coffee cups and saucers. Adam fixed my order in seconds over the phone and we were good to go! The tent was gorgeous with all the lights inside, and provided the perfect atmosphere for our simple outdoor wedding. I couldn't be happier with this vendor; we'll be using them again for other big parties (and maybe even landscaping equipment!) in the future!

    We used Grand Rental out of Cary for all of the tables, chairs, tents, lights, trash cans, heaters, and linens for our wedding at my mother-in-laws home. They were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the time we were planning-- allowing us to change, remove, and add items to our order. There was a mess up in which chairs we wanted resulting in too many chairs being delivered (double the amount of chairs) and the chairs we wanted delivered all needed to be hand washed the night of our rehearsal dinner so they looked up to par for our wedding. BUT- Grand Rental was nice enough to give us the chairs for free for the trouble.

    We worked with Grand Rental in Cary for all of our wedding rentals, which included tables, chairs, linens, dance floor, and overhead "market lights" for our outdoor reception. I worked with James, who was great and very patient with me when I changed quantities for tables and linens about 8 times as the wedding date approached :) It sometimes took a day or two to hear back from someone if I contacted them but usually everything was very prompt. We almost had a big mix-up due to the wrong date being listed on the contract (which I think was my fault), but when I called them in a panic they had already sorted it out themselves by talking with my venue! On the day of, everything was delivered and installed on time and it turned out exactly as I had envisioned it! Overall they were great to work with and very reasonably priced.

    Great experience with Capital Events!

    Used Capital Events for my wedding at Heights House Hotel in June. This fantastic team arrived promptly on Friday to setup the tent and tables and really transformed the front lawn into a dream wedding space. They were incredibly efficient and professional, making the entire process stress-free.

    A special shoutout to Kayce, my main point of contact. She newly stepped into the role of Wedding + Event Coordinator at Capital Events, and she was unbelievably communicative, organized, and on top of everything. She let me come by the showroom to see the glassware/linens/tables/chairs in person and even sent follow-up pictures on a few things to help consult and make recommendations on lighting/linen options for me. Highly recommend working with Kayce for their outstanding service!

    Grand Rental Station was very flexible, which was important when we were trying to decide how to coordinate our event. Their flexibility allowed us to have ease of mind as we got closer to our wedding and needed to change the number of chairs and delivery. We were also able to add some things the day of the wedding. Everything was so easy, that we never had added stress or worry about the rental products.

    The only problem we had was that one of the tables' screws came out as it was being set up. The screws were easily put back into place and the table was used. Ultimately, everything was great and very easy to use. Delivery was early and the pick up was easy--this was an added, inexpensive cost that was well worth it.

    I was very pleased with the cost associated with this vendor. When you know what you want and do not need to receive the "red carpet treatment" (this company also does equipment rentals for construction companies- so their office would not be described as glamorous) they can provide the inventory you need without paying an insane amount per fork. Comparing apples to apples with Classic Party Rentals, I saved over 60% from what they had quoted me.


    This vendor is also very flexible- if they don't have a specific thing you need, they can borrow it from another area rental company, and even then- their rates are not outrageous.
