  Cassie created a delicious lemon cake with raspberry filling for my daughter's wedding. It was exactly what my daughter asked for, and the guests were generous in their praise for its appearance and moist tastiness. Cassie also made red velvet cupcakes--a favorite of the groom. A number of guests were taking those treats before the cake was cut! You will not go wrong choosing Cassie to bake your cake for weddings or other special events.

  We absolutely loved our cakes!! The designs were exactly what I was going for to match our theme of "Fall In Love"!! The cake flavors were absolutely delicious also!!!

  Yum! I booked Cassie for a small bride/groom cake and cupcakes for our guests and it was one of the best decisions I made. We choose carrot cake and marble cupcakes and they were super moist and tasty. I had ordered 20% over, just in case, and glad I did, because there weren't many left at the end of the night. For the bride/groom cake we ordered my favorite, German chocolate, and I wish we still had some to munch on....it was that good. Cassie listened to our ideas on design and provided us with exactly what we requested. Everything was just beautiful. I highly recommend Cassie's Custom Cakes for any of our cake/cupcakes desires.

  My husband and I got married on August 6, 2016. Cassie was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our cake was beautiful and looked just like I imagined it would. All three layers were also completely delicious! Cassie is a busy lady, so I followed the advice of all the websites and checked in with each of my vendors the week before the wedding and everything turned out perfectly with our cake! We would highly recommend Cassie!

  The yummiest almond cake! Cassie had us to her home for a tasting and to decide what the look of our cake would be. She made it absolutely perfect!!!

  Cassie was a great find. She had reasonable prices and saw our vision through. We wanted cupcakes and she did two different types with different fillings and decorated them so they were beautiful. She arranged the cake table to look amazing. The cake was soooooo delicious. We really lucked out finding her.

  Cassie did a great job on our wedding cakes.. we had a beautiful tiered white cake with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting, and a chocolate sheet cake with chocolate mousse filling and buttercream frosting. Both cakes were delicious and looked beautiful. They were even better than I remembered from the cake tasting! We also appreciated that she was able to work with our budget.

We appreciated the delivery and ease of working with her. She listened and is truly an artist. She created the seahorses by hand, instead of using molds. Amazing work, highly recommend. My wedding date was July 13, 2013.

  We celebrated our one year anniversary a couple months ago and the cake, kept in the freezer very well wrapped, was still fantastic! At the wedding we loved the cake. The guests loved cake, and we ate great cake a year later. The service was perfect. I would recommend Cassie's Cakes.

We met with Cassie at the Bakery and gave her some of our ideas, as far as colors, venue and theme. She drew everything out on a paper and gave us our estimate. We got to sample the flavors we were interested in. And our guests loved our cake!!!

  Our cake from Cassie's Cakes was amazing. She took all of my ideas for a cake and brought back the perfect design. However, as a foodie, I cared about the actual cake just as much as the sign. The cake was fluffy, flavorful and most of all it wasn't sickingly sweet. I plan on getting a mini cake for our one year anniversary from Cassie's!

  I do believe wedding cakes are pretty expensive considering what they are but for a wedding of only 90, we were able to get away with a three-tiered delicious masterpiece. The color was perfect and the decor was exactly what we wanted and discussed. They were able to take what my husband and I each wanted and blend it together perfectly. We also had a special request flavor of Funfetti and they were able to deliver. It was the an amazing wedding cake and both flavors, Funfetti and lemon with raspberry filling, were amazing and the cake was perfectly moist. Their prices were right in the middle as far as the rest of the SLO wedding cake market goes. I would recommend anyone check in to Cassie's.

  I got to eat it at the tasting and it was delicious. Somehow the servers missed me at the event but everyone I have spoken too was thoroughly pleased. We had a small marble fudge cake as well as 5 cheesecakes. (lemon, peanut butter, chocolate, plain, & plain with fudge topping). It was delivered on time. The cake design looked adorable. There was more than enough for everyone to eat.

  Our wedding cake was just what we wanted. It was beautiful! Cassie did a great job and even adjusted when we changed our mind and wanted a cake topper. They delivered the cake and set it up at our location. It was great we didn't have to worry about a thing.

  I can't say enough good things about Cassie and her cakes. The bakery was recommended by my wedding coordinator and at first we were skeptical. Cassie's Custom Cakes isn't a big or fancy bakery, but we weren't looking for a big or fancy cake.
  
  While we waited for Cassie to get cake samples ready we looked through the book of cake ideas. We didn't want a traditional flower-covered cake so we brought in our own design. The moment we showed that to Cassie she LIT UP and got really excited about our cake. I knew then that we wanted to work with her - her eagerness was just what we were looking for!
  
  She took our ideas and worked on some modifications necessary to make the cake work well with our topper and decorations. When she calculated the cost of the decorations we were blown away about how affordable it was. Sure, we live in LA, the land of expensive wedding cakes, but Cassie's cakes are well priced overall and her service included a reasonable delivery fee.
  
  The cake itself was easy. We knew we wanted carrot cake but tried a few other flavors anyway just to get a sense of her style as a baker. We worried the carrot cake might be dry so she was willing to, at no extra cost, add extra layers of cream cheese frosting to the cake to ensure it stayed moist and delicious. And she easily accommodated our desire to make one tier with nuts and one tier without. Cassie was so easy to work with!
  
  We got married on 9/24/11 and the cake was terrific! It looked very much how we imagined it would - so cute! And it was very tasty. It stayed moist and delicious all night - and into the next day when my husband and I got to enjoy a big hunk of the cake. YUM!
  
  Cassie's cake was very affordable, tasty and beautiful. She was a pleasure to work with and the results of our creation together with our ideas and her enthusiasm to make them happen were terrific. I highly recommend her.

  Most wedding cakes I've eaten haven't tasten very good. This was the best tasting cake I've ever had. Everyone was very impressed. There was hardly any left to take home! It was also the most beautiful cake ever! Exactly what we discussed and how I wanted it. I'm so pleased!

  Cassie's Custom Cakes is a highly recommended baker in the area. We ordered cupcakes and a 6" cake for the top to cut. The cake was absolutely delicious! We got almond (sooo good!), chocolate, and carrot cake. Many guests wanted seconds! The presentation was impeccable and we could not have been happier.

  Cassie's Custom Cakes is a highly recommended baker in the area. We ordered cupcakes and a 6" cake for the top to cut. The cake was absolutely delicious!   I LOVED my cake from Cassie's Custom Cakes! Not only was it beautiful and delivered on time, but it was also very very tasty! Hands down the BEST carrot cake I have ever had. We even got one for my dad for Father's Day because he loved my wedding cake so much!

  The cake exceeded our expectations! I had an idea of what I wanted for a design and she executed it well. I wanted something unique and so we had a hexagon shaped cake and because we wanted to keep cost down but wanted the look of a three tier we did two tiers but she made the icing design look as though it was three! The taste was fantastic, it had the right amount of buttercream and a thin enough layer of fondant.. we had the best of both worlds. Everyone loved how it looked and tasted my only regreat was that we didn't get to taste it other than the piece we fed to one another when we first cut it. Great service!
