  From start to finish - Best experience ever!

  Cat is the best wedding photographer! From signing the contract to receiving our wedding gallery, I could not have asked for a better experience. Cat is attentive, personable, understanding, and very, very skilled at what she does! She makes posing feel natural and the sessions fun and exciting. Cat was also extremely helpful when it came to planning out the timing of the wedding, and was flexible when I made last minute changes a few days before the wedding. And the finished products are perfect!!! She provided hundreds of beautiful photos from our wedding day, and they are so much more beautiful than I expected. She captured all of the photos we asked for, and went above and beyond with the number and variety of shots that she captured. If you are getting married soon, especially in the South Bend area, I cannot recommend Cat Alkire for your wedding photographer enough!

  Truly talented and an awesome person

  Cat was above and beyond what I could have hoped for in a photographer for our wedding. Not only are the pictures amazing, but she was so professional, organized, and fun to be around. It poured rain the day of our wedding and she found the perfect outdoor spot for us. The photos are actually better than any I would have imagined on a sunny day. I truly cant say enough about her! You wont regret using her to capture any important event in your life!

  TALENTED, reliable, flexible, irreplaceable

  My FAVORITE wedding vendor to work with! Cat’s photos captured all the little details and special moments with our families. She’ll make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, help you find other wonderful wedding vendors to work with, and cheer you on through the whole wedding planning journey. And I mean the whole journey.
  While my April 2020 wedding dreams were crumbling before my eyes, Cat was compiling a list of available postponement dates. She sent me tentative timelines for Wedding Plan A, Wedding Plan B, and Wedding Plan C (she is amazingly fast a responding to emails). She made a micro-wedding at my house look flawless. She’s a talented photographer, a much-needed cheerleader, and a shoulder to lean on. I hope you experience 0 pandemics during wedding planning. But the world throws curve balls, and when it does, you want Cat on your team!

  Cat is the person you want on the big day!

  Hiring Cat Alkire was the best decision I made for my wedding. She is not just your photographer but also your go to source for wedding questions and advice. Cat is the best person to have by your side on your big day. My husband does not like taking photos, after our amazing sunset engagement photo even he said "wow Cat made that fun". That's a win!

  Cat is seriously the best!

  From the first day my husband and I met Cat at Starbucks to grab coffee and discuss our wedding day, we knew Cat was the perfect person to capture our special day. Cat truly cares for her clients and wants their wedding day to be absolutely perfect. She created a wedding timeline for us and coordinated with some of our vendors to make sure they had everything she needed. (Extra flowers for pictures, etc.) Which in turn, made everything go so smoothly. Cat was always so responsive to emails and always open to talking out any ideas or questions. COVID19 threw a wrench in our original plans, but Cat worked with us to capture our private ceremony perfectly. We had a sneak peak the next day of a few photos and she had a blog post up with even more pictures within a week! Our whole gallery of images came back within a very timely manner, too.
  Once we received our wedding images we were not disappointed, we loved them ALL! All our photos turned out beautifully, we love the classic, elegant and timeless look of her photos. We look forward to working again with Cat next year for our wedding celebration. We not only had a best photographer for our wedding day but have gained a friend for life. Thank you for capturing our day perfectly, Cat!

  Cat is more than just a photographer

  Cat was an absolute joy to work with throughout the crazy wedding planning process! She is more than just a photographer to her brides, she is a friend.   Cat and Miles out did it!

  I can't even begin to explain how amazing Cat and Miles were. Cat was so responsive and answered all my questions so quickly. She was sweet, organized, and VERY dependable. Cat made sure my day was SO perfect. Anything I wanted or needed she always remembered and never let anything go unnoticed. She always asked questions and was so flexible. Being a wedding photographer requires a lot of patience because you deal with stressed brides, crazy families, and lots of complaining from bridal parties. Cat was so kind and patient. She worked with my blended family so well. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for that perfect person to capture all your special moments. What I loved most about Cat was that she always wanted to meet and talk to really get to know me and my husband. She was so invested and it seemed that it didn't matter how much time it took, she was determined to know what we liked and disliked. It is so obvious how much Cat and Miles love what they do!

  Amazing photographer and so much more than we ever expected!

She took charge of the timeline for us, coordinating with all of the vendors, making sure everyone was on the same page and everything ran so smoothly the day of the wedding. All of this was much more that I was expecting to get from a photographer, and that was just a bonus. The pictures turned out beautifully!!! She captured everything very naturally, everyone felt very comfortable with her, the lighting in all of the photos is perfect. She even had several of the photos up and rolling on a slideshow for everyone to see during the reception. I would hands down recommend her to everyone!

  Still in awe over the beautiful moments captured on our wedding day!

  Cat and her husband were fantastic. Not only did they take absolutely stunning photos, they made taking pictures so much fun for us and our wedding party! . When it comes to your wedding, photos are the one thing that will last a lifetime and Cat exceeded my expectations. I will recommend Cat and her husband over and over again!

  Cat was wonderful to work with! She did our engagement pictures and wedding pictures and they both turned out amazing! She's so much fun and we love her style of work - very natural and captured the moment perfectly. She even braved a golf cart ride in the rain to capture some amazing sunset lake pictures! Her experience and professionalism always showed and she was able to return our pictures much-quicker than we were anticipating (and all were edited!). We would choose to work with Cat and Miles again in a heartbeat!

  Cat is one of the best photographers ever. She listened to what I wanted, she had great ideas and most of all she made me and my wedding party feel so comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. Her photos were outstanding. Pricing was great! I will now use her as my photographer for all events. Thank you Cat!

  I found Cat on Etsy, when I was searching for rustic, but classic invitation designs. I liked the idea that I could save money by printing and assembling my own. I chose the Rustic Antler and Floral design, and Cat helped me customize it to our wedding. It was the perfect design, as I didn't want something overly feminine. He's a big hunter, so I liked that it had the antlers representing him and the flowers for me. Cat and I emailed back and forth until we got the template just right.
  They came out amazing and I got so many compliments on the design.
  I highly recommend using her services. She was a pleasure, and for the price, you can't beat it!

  Cat was very easy and fun to work with! She was really good about making sure I got the pictures/poses that I wanted, but also suggested some really cool ideas for other pictures. She even took the time to check out our church ahead of time to figure out the best places to take pictures from during our wedding. I couldn't believe how fast she put together a preview of pictures for us after the wedding! I have gotten so many compliments from these few pictures already!
