  Best Time Ever!

  The Barrel Room, a private reception area of the Catawba Brewing Co., was a perfect setting for our daughters Wedding reception. From the time our guests walked in, until they left, everyone, including our daughter felt like this was the spot to really enjoy themselves and have fun. Mary Mayo, our coordinator from the Catawba Brewing Co. was amazing to work with and helped to make the whole experience wonderful! We highly recommend this awesome venue!

  Book them!!!

  I cannot day enough amazing things about this place! Everyone is so incredibly friendly and Mary was so helpful. The beer is delicious, the venue was stunning and it was perfect

  Great reception!

  We had our wedding reception at the Barrel Room at Catawba for 100 people. The space was the perfect size for our reception. Mary was so easy to work with and had great recommendations for us. She was very responsive. The beer was fantastic and our friends enjoyed sampling all the beers. We loved the tasting where we got to pick out the beers served at the wedding. The space was unique and awesome. I highly recommend Catawba!

  Classy but Comfortable Rehearsal Dinner spot!

  We originally looked at Catawba for a reception venue, but ended up using for our rehearsal dinner. Their barrel room is so pretty and is a great space to host an intimate dinner with family and friends. We built a close relationship with Mary, and attended and participated in other events at the brewery/barrel room because of this. They make you feel like family and balance providing you the tools and resources you need while also letting you make the space and event what you want. I've seen a few decor options, seating options, catering options in there and it works every time. Also having your pick of the beers on tap in there doesn't hurt! It was a great space and team to work with and definitely set the mood for our wedding the next day!

  Loved our venue!

  We loved the location in Charlotte, close to uptown and with a lovely view of the skyline. Mary Mayo made everything so easy for us, we found our caterer and DJ through her. She responds quickly and was a pleasure to work with. Plus their beers are amazing.

  Craft Beer Dreams Come True - Wedding Style - Morgan & Derek

  Catawba is one of our absolute favorite places in Charlotte! The staff is wonderful, beer is delicious and you cannot beat the views of the Charlotte Skyline! We love it so much that we chose to get married in their private barrel room! Working with Mary and her team was phenomenal, easy, and truly wonderful! Catawba will always hold a special place in our hearts!

  Ceremony and Reception Venue

  We booked the Barrel Room when it was still a construction zone and all we really had to go off was the story board Mary had to show us and to trust that her vision would come to life as she described. Mary did not disappoint! The Barrel Room turned out even more beautiful than we could have ever hoped! It was everything we were looking for. We got so many compliments from our guests about how unique and interesting the event space was. A great thing about the Barrel Room is that they only charge for the alcohol that has been poured, which was something we really were drawn to in order to help control the cost. It was nice to only pay per glass/pour than to have to pay per head like most other venues charge.

  Amazing to work with!

  They were so awesome! Because of the hurricane, our clients had to switch venues last minute and they (luckily) had an opening and let us book! They helped in anyway they could! It was absolutely amazing to work with them!

  Beautiful wedding

  We had a wonderful experience using Catawba for our wedding. From the ease of setting up our first meeting, to the responsiveness of the staff, to the space that spoke to both of our styles (industrial, authentic, laid back and beautiful), to the stress free ceremony and reception. We would definitely recommend them for your next event!
